Great guy!! Helped our family in a time of need. Went over and beyond what he needed to do

On Monday, June 8, I used Yelp to contact several local junk removal companies. One of the owners called me directly, and during that conversation I was quoted $140 or 145 for the job. I remember that amount clearly because it was lower than another quote I had received, which was between $150 and $200. We agreed on the price and scheduled the pickup for the morning of Thursday, June 11. On the day of the appointment, I received a call letting me know the crew would be running late, which was not a problem. Later, I received another call saying they had arrived, followed by a call regarding the price. This immediately raised concerns because I believed the quote had already been discussed and finalized days earlier. The employee performing the removal told me the price was now $200. I explained that I had been quoted $140 by the owner when we scheduled the appointment. He then contacted the owner for clarification and later called me back, confirming they would do for $145 quote and proceed with the job. I should have written down the price as well, but I *assumed* being schedule in the quote would have been listed and communicated to the other associates. Shortly afterward, I received a call from the owner claiming that we had never discussed a $145 price and that the amount was too low. I found this frustrating, especially considering I had no reason to invent a number that I specifically remembered because it was lower than competing quotes. While the company ultimately agreed to proceed at the quoted amount, the entire situation could have been avoided with proper record-keeping and communication. To put the matter behind me and avoid further back-and-forth, I ultimately paid $185. While the job was completed, the confusion surrounding the pricing left a negative impression and made what should have been a straightforward service unnecessarily stressful. read more

We had this contractor come out to inspect a job and give us a price. He committed to being on site at a certain time, but afterward he researched our company and, not understanding how multiple companies can work together on fix-and-flips, he backed out. That left us in a lurch. We had already done our due diligence to ensure he had a valid license and insurance, and I provided him with sufficient information to legitimize our company, offering anything additional he requested. Instead of working with us, he shut the job down after first making a commitment. He also asked for a deposit that was larger than what California law allows. When I pointed him to the exact CSLB statute and gave him the official CSLB website link, he was unwilling to work with me. This is important for others to know, because the down payment limit protects both contractors and homeowners. What made it worse is that before he even told me he wasn't going to do the job, he told another worker already on site. That was unprofessional and undermined trust. Overall, he seems like a decent person, but fear and suspicion got in the way of following through. Unfortunately, based on my experience, this is someone who may not keep his promises. read more

They ended up having to take 2 loads, instead of the 1 that was quoted (it was quite a lot of stuff), but we were fine with it. I called another company before I used "dump that junk" boy was I so disappointed with that company I booked them and they called me that they need to reschedule me and they did this twice I was very frustrated. So I decided to call "dump that junk" Frank was so helpful with all my questions he had very very reasonable rates and when we schedule an appointment date he came through and handle all the trash for use no questions asked. My daily drive takes me through this area where this super dirty vacant lot was that had so much trash from people dumping there, when I 1st saw them there I thought good luck theres too much junk there you have your work cut out for you well that was on a friday when I drove back through on monday the lot was all nice & clean I was surprised at the transformation over 1 weekend I pulled over to take it all in it looked really good so I asked the guys that were still there if they could work on my property they said they could come out to give me an estimate the next day, I had alot of old stuff everywhere & I had been working on a little at a time for over 9 months now but it seemed to never end, they came in & did in 2 days what I couldn't do in almost a year, I feel like a weight has been lifted off of me I would come home & get this ugly feeling when I would see our mess now when I pull up & see my place all nice & clean I feel happy that Im home & I love how clean my place looks that alone is definitely what makes me glad I hired them, they are awesome at what they do I would definitely recommend them read more
