I contacted 5 (yes, five!) businesses that I found on Yelp for a quote (I called and txtd businesses) on weed abatement and hauling. Only Fast Trac Tractor came through! After the disappointment of not hearing from the other businesses, I hesitated to believe that someone from Fast Trac Tractor Service would actually show up for a quote. I was beginning to feel that those who said they were going to show up saw my house and were not up for the challenge. And then I exchanged a few txt messages with jthe owner, Brian, shared pictures of the property, had a phone call and he came out to my property to give me a fair quote. Let me tell you, I respect the professionalism of this guy. I was informed of my options, discussed the itemized costs of services, and discussed what the tractor can and cannot do (I am city girl so I don't know about tractors). The next thing I know, my house is amazing and does not look neglected. And, the goat heads are gone, for now, so I can finally have my dog over for a playdate! I had to work the day of my appointment, but I returned to see one of the workers, Dan (who I think is detail oriented with that tractor), cleaning up the remaining details of the job. Just had these guys out today to do my 5 acres. Incredible work...I am ecstatic. I had irrigation put in last year and my property got overtaken with huge sage bushes and weeds galore. They were able to haul away everything and grade all the acreage (including the gravel driveway and spread it back out) in 6 hours. I'm SO incredibly happy with the work done and efficiency. Called Fast Trac Tractor Service this afternoon to get a quote, spent some time talking to Brian about what we were hoping for since the lot across the street hired some cheap company to do a weed abatement and let it blow all into our house and get stuck in front of our fence. Plus, the city and the county made it apparent that it is now our problem. Brian talked me through their services and the husband gave the okay to have them come out. I figured at least a week or two, but Brian said his partner Dan was available to come today. Dan came around 130p and left about 4p. I initially contacted this company to come give me a quote to have weeds hauled away and our giant hill in the backyard scraped so it was free of any weeds. Brian came out and gave me a quote, he explained the entire process and gave me some information on his experience in this line of work. My choices for my budget were to finish our acre by hand and then rent a dumpster, or come have Brian do everything for the same price. I went with him. He and his partner showed up on time, did exactly what I asked (AND THEN SOME). They made my yard look sooooo nice. Way better than it would have looked if I had done it myself! I was hesitating about posting this, but seeing how good their pictures look everytime they post on Facebook, really irks my nerves. A few months back I called to have my yard tractored for weeds. I was told by Brian that they can have it done the very next day & he even went as far as sending me pictures of yards with not ONE weed in it and told me that my yard would like that. He even said that they clear "x" amount of inches from fence line and housing. This was right when his hourly rate went from $75 to $80 but he still honored the $75 since that was the Facebook post I was going off of. So a guy shows up and gets like 6 feet away from house and fence. Weeds still in rock at front yard (mind you, I showed him pictures via text prior to setting up service) & weeds still popping up everywhere in the back. We were told that they would be digging a trench in the back to dump it all and it would look really nice. Well $275 later, it looked like nothing had been done. Ok, maybe it did look like something was done. Weeds were moved around all of the yard but still there. I really wish I would have taken a picture. I wasn't home and had already zelled the money to Brian so when I came home I was pretty pissed and didn't feel like I could argue the fact that my yard wasn't done. I recently paid someone else to do our yard and after 3 hours, it looked magnificent!! Not a single weed or Bush, not a single thing sticking out. I would never recommend Fasttrac Tractor. Very disappointed with their false advertisements of before and after pictures. That must have been 1 or 2 yards they really took their time on. read more

I had a lot of dirt I needed removed. I spoke to Brian on the phone, told him what I needed and sent him a picture. He gave me a quote for a fair price. I could not be there when he came as I work down the hill so I left him a check in an envelope tapped to the wall. He showed up when he said he would, had the work done just as I wanted and was gone before I got home. What more could I ask for. Now days it's hard to find an honest contractor. Really great service!!! I called Brian on Monday and left a message asking for a quote. He got back to me within a few hours. Even though my house was outside of his normal service area (Sycamore Rocks) he agreed to come out. His partner came out the very next day and cleaned out our 1.1 acre lot in no time whatsoever (approx 3 hrs). I was really impressed that he was able to maneuver around the trees, get into the corners and really close to the fence. My yard was a disaster with waist high weeds everywhere, so thank goodness for these guys! And the best part... the service was really cheap!!!! I had received quotes from other weed removal services for more than 4x what I paid Brian and his partner.
