Second car got hit in California. All drivers side damage. This is also a new car, 2015 Chrysler 300 Hemi. Had our other car which was a 2016 in 4 months back that was repaired just like factory. The chrysler was more challenging to repair as the factory paint and fit and finish is poor at best. The car came out literally better than new. It's too bad that I can only give them a 5! After doing a fair amount of research, we selected three body shops to interview. The reality is that most body shops have similar costs of doing business, therefore all estimates should be similar. All we wanted to know is who we wanted to do business with. After meeting with all 3, it was obvious who we were going to do business with. ..Select Auto Body. It turned out it was a complete no brainer. Select wanted our business, but didn't NEED it. Having been in sales all my life, that makes a real difference to me. You may not realize it, but when you sign an estimate, it really is a blank check. The reason for this is that all estimates have a phrase which says in effect that if further damage is found after starting the job, there likely will be further costs. In other words, you are almost signing away your (financial) life!! This is both realistic and fair so long as the body shop is fair. In our case the final bill was about 25% LESS than the estimate. While this likely is unusual, it did happen in our case. Not a BTW, the job they did was phenomenal. They took a car that the insurance company, and turned it into a GEM!! Forget where you live. Unfortunately, I've had to visit Select twice in a year and half. Damn Phoenix drivers! If one more person hits this poor car, I will turn into the Hulk and kill them. Now that that's out of the way - On both occasions, Select staff were extremely friendly and helpful, particularly when guiding me through the insurance process, about which I knew nothing. My car looks excellent. They do not use aftermarket products and didn't allow the other guy's adjuster to try to sneak any in. Select staff definitely go above and beyond the call. On both of my visits, they made minor repairs to my car that were unrelated to the accidents, just to be nice! They also washed and detailed the car, and returned my rental car for me. These little things went a long way to relieve my general stress about the situation. I wouldn't think twice about coming back or recommending them to anyone! read more

This review is long overdue. I was in a hit and run a few months back. Unfortunately, I had to go through my insurance and pay a $500 deductible to get my car fixed. I found these guys on Yelp and they more than lived up to their rating. Obviously being in a car accident is stressful, but they managed to make things go as smoothly as possible. I told them that I didn't have rental car coverage on my insurance and that I would be paying out of pocket for that. They said they would do what they could to get it done as quickly as possible. I dropped my car off on a Monday morning. It was done Tuesday evening. How awesome is that?! These guys are great. I got into my first accident EVER about 6 weeks ago, and wasn't quite sure what to do with my car, or where to go. Thankfully, my mother told me to run over to Select Auto Body to get an estimate on my car to turn into insurance, and the rest was history. My mom and I stopped by without warning, and Bud was available right away to come look at my car. Without even going over to his computer, he quickly calculated a timeframe and price in his head, which was dead on according to the estimates he pulled up on his computer. Bud REALLY knows his stuff! While on vacation, my mother took my car in for me. She picked my car up 4 days later, and it looked perfect! Bud and his team even put air in my tires because it showed they were low, AND they washed my car. Not just a quick wash on the outside, but a full on vacuum, clean and service. My car was in a parking lot accident that damaged the bumper and one of the rear panels. Derek from Exklusiv Motorsports (my local VW guru), sent me to Select Auto Body since they are a Volkswagen certified repair shop and he could vouch for the quality of their work. Bud, Ron, and all of the staff at Select Auto Body are great to work with. They called me whenever there was a change in the status of my repair and got the car completed when they said it would be done. They took care of arranging my rental car and returning it for me. The repair came out great. They got the insurance company to pay for new genuine VW replacement parts instead of aftermarket or junkyard parts. You can't tell that anything ever happened, and that is a challenge on black cars. When you are working with your insurance company after an accident, it's important to remember that you have a choice where your car gets fixed! The insurance company wants to get you through as cheaply as possible, and that may mean compromised quality. This place is awesome. I came in with my 2012 Scion XD, I had rear ended someone the day before and needed the damage fixed. I was mortified because I had only had the car for a year and just days before the accident I had driven 1,500 miles very smoothly, so I needed to go somewhere that I could trust. I found these guys on yelp, and I found a good amount of four and five star reviews, so I decided I would go here! When I got there they explained everything that would be happening to the car and a time estimate. Ron then drove me to get a rental car, he had actually reserved one for me! He stayed with me through the whole process and went completely out of his way just to make sure I got good service, and I did! I picked up my car after they were closed but insisted I could come in anyways. My car looks brand new, they washed and waxed it and it looks amazing! So amazing I was curious about the product they had used to get my car so new looking. Who I believe is the owner, I'm kicking myself for not remembering his name, gave me a bottle of what works like magic to get my car look so shiny an new! Also, they told me it would take a week and barely took 4 days to fix. They called everyday to give me updates on my car too. Ron helped me get everything set up with such ease, I did nothing but sign a work order and drop off/pick up my car. I took my BMW M5 to Select Auto Body after seeing the reviews on Yelp, and they are right on. This car makes repairs exceedingly difficult due to the complex paint jobs and irreparable frames. The folks at Select Auto gave me a great price, a short time-frame, and went out of there way to accommodate my busy schedule - they picked me up, dropped me off, gave me a loaner, etc. The car did need to be brought back for finishing touches on the paint, which was done quickly and at my convenience. The best part - Bud (the owner) noticed a tiny part missing from the repair, looked into it for me, and promised to have it replaced immediately - and will completely buff and clean the car for the "inconvenience" (which it barely is).
