They showed up on the scheduled day about 8:30 am and we did a walk thru, showing them what was going and what was not. moving from a 4 bdrm to a 2 bdrm takes some downsizing. They started right in, wrapping, filling boxes and moving them out to the truck. Taking apart the furniture that needed it and moving it out to the truck. They are definitely good at their job. It took them till 10:30 at night to get it all packed and stowed in the truck. They were prompt on delivery day too. Showed up at 9 am . started unloading and putting together furniture and placing it where requested. Took till 4pm before they were finished with their part of unpacking . Great job! The person who booked us was very responsive and answered all our questions. The movers they sent were friendly and handled our stuff with care. Pride Moving did an amazing job; we had 4 movers that showed up on time and got right to work. Max was also quick to answer any questions I had. They worked tirelessly for 8-9 hours and were able to fit all our big furniture (including a piano, heavy elliptical, multiple couches, TVs, armchairs, dining table, desks, etc) and our many boxes into 1 big truck. They made sure to carefully wrap everything so nothing was damaged, and were very patient in answering our questions. They were very careful in loading, unwrapping and re-assembling everything at our new house (I could tell they were trying not to bump any doorways or scratch the walls with the heavy furniture which I appreciated). They were also accommodating when we asked them to rearrange a few things at our new place. The prices were also reasonable (especially if you pay in cash). I was first referred to Carlos with "No Load is Too Small Moving" by the assisted living facility…read moremy mother was set to move into. I was down in Oceanside from Seattle, WA to help my Mom make the move. Carlos was able to help us move the largest item (a sofa) my mom wanted to take with her from home. He was responsive and very easy to work with. He knew exactly how to disconnect the reclining backs from the sofa so that it would make it through the doorways. The move went so well, that when Mom passed and we had to move her belongings back to her home, we were able to call Carlos to help move everything. He was able to complete the move within the short timeline the assisted living facility asked us to have the room vacated. Later, when we needed to clear everything from Mom's house in order to list it for sale, I was able to contact Carlos again from Seattle and set up an appointment for the last day I would be down in Oceanside. It gave us time to allow family and friends to choose/take something they wanted to remember Mom, and for a Charity Truck to come and take the bulk of the larger items for their thrift stores. The ability to organize with Carlos in advance to have him come and take away the remaining items was invaluable to me in getting everything done during the week I was there. He texted me to confirm before I even left Seattle. Then the night before he was set to come, I texted him photos of what was left that we needed his help with. He took everything, and handled what needed to go to the recycling center, what might be useful for a different thrift store, and what needed to be taken to the transfer station for disposal. I can't put into words how much of a relief it was in Seattle knowing I had his help on the last day I would be in Oceanside, and that it was all set up. We wouldn't hesitate to use his services again if we needed help moving furniture and other household goods. His rates were reasonable, and within what we would expect for the work he did. And he never tried to raise his rates after the project started.
