I ordered a taro latte (btw prices aren't listed on the menu) and a regular was $6.50. A nearby coffee shop has the same drink for $4 and it tastes way better. Next, the empanadas weren't flavorful at ALL. It tasted like a gentrified version of an empanada, and this is coming from a person who enjoys both Argentinian and Spanish empanadas. We ordered two "hot" lattes - they were cold. I had to stick my entire finger in my cup for them to believe me when I asked for a reheat. The barista offered to add more milk to our lattes - I'm not sure what that would've solved. We even agreed to getting them microwaved. They finally settled on remaking our drinks. I got my 2nd cup and guess what? It was cold too. I decided not to ask for another reheat, that probably would've taken the baristas over the edge. The owners at Second Slice Sandwich Shop graciously heated up my latte (please support them). As we were discussing their inability to heat milk, several more customers expressed the same concern. After two cups and the weird way the employees looked at us, was enough for me to decide NEVER to go back to this VERY expensive coffee shop. I absolutely love this place! My first priority , was parking and they have their own lot! This is a plus! The inside has a good amount of seating and it's set up is really cool. They have little shops connected inside. I don't live close but I love coming here and the coffee is good. It only comes in one size (to-go) .They also have breakfast pastries and great tacos. i got the barbacoa mini tacos and they were pretty good, but they are a little pricey. 3 mini tacos with meat only and you add sauce, cilantro, and onion on the side for $7. you can definitely get better tacos at a taco stand for cheaper. the interior is really nice and it is a great place to study. i also got the iced green tea and it tasted like water with barely any ice. my friend got the thai tea special and red velvet milk tea. both were good and had a good amount of sweetness. read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the atmosphere. Tucked away in the corner of warehouse work stations, is this quaint coffee shop. I absolutely adore the simplicity of the shop. The menu is easy to read, straightforward, and not at all intimidating to order from if you are new to the coffee scene. There are teas, coffees, and pastries. They have tacos, per some frequent customers, but they ran out by the time I arrived. I ordered a spinach, artichoke kolache. It was really big, so this could definitely be shared. Make sure to ask them to warm it up sufficiently, as mine was cold even after placing it in the microwave once. Being sensitive to COVID precautions, I didn't want to ask them to reheat it (I had already biten into it when I noticed it was still cold). The bread got a little soggy where the spinach artichoke filling sat upon. They didn't give me a fork, and it was hard to get the staff's attention, so it was difficult to eat. Otherwise, the bread had a springy interior, and had a glazed exterior. I also ordered their double decker (as I call them) cream filled cookies. The cookies were way too moist that they became mushy. The cream cheese filling was good, but who doesn't love cream cheese and powdered sugar. Despite the texture being a little off, the flavor was fine. I probably wouldn't order either again. I wasn't expecting a Danish or French pastry chef to be whipping up my meal, but the coldness of the kolache and the mushiness of the cookie turned me off. They had several other sweets that I had to stop myself from ordering. I also tried their Cafe de Olla and it was good. There wasn't anything extraordinary about it, but it was still nicely flavored. I also tried their espresso. Again, there wasn't anything remarkable about it, but it was still decent. I think the best qualities of this coffee shop is that there is sufficient parking, indoor seating, and work stations; and, you have the ability to shop in the independently and locally owned stores also located within the warehouse while enjoying a quick bite. Very cool place, I enjoyed the general atmosphere of the area. I got a shaken expresso which was $7 so I was expecting a decently sized cup but got a 16 oz which ok a bit pricey but there was also a .75 charge for oatmilk. I peeped at the general prices and everything was in the same range so I'll probably just stick to water and a pastry next time. I sat in the corner and had a great time just getting work done, it wasn't too loud and with some headphones the background noise was great for concentrating. I have been a regular since they opened. I always enjoyed the coffee and food, however the service has only gotten worse and slower. There is quite literally only one person on the staff who is kind to me. I didn't want to leave a negative review, but my last few visits have been very unpleasant. The staff is borderline rude and they have no sense of urgency. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this cafe. I'm not going pay $7 for a coffee made by people who are rude to me. Great coffee options, had the penguino with oat milk and a cinnamon roll. My only complaint is that I wish the cinnamon roll had more cinnamon, very sweet but delicious none the less! I absolutely LOVED THIS PLACE. I was in a big rush to study for one of my finals, and I was looking for somewhere nice to study. I can't study efficiently in boring places so once I arrived, I knew I was about to get some work done. The area was stranger things themed, with "Have you seen Will" posters all around and other decorations. I ordered a basic white chocolate latte and it was DELICIOUS. The staff working were also very polite and I got my coffee very fast. The seating area is sometimes a little tight when working with friends, but we just waited for someone to get up for a bigger area. There are also many small business's that you can shop at, with vintage and bountique stores. Overall was a perfect place to study and the location is very convenient, 5 stars! read more

Neat location; however, I can't comment on the actual drinks because I threw mine away without tasting it. After I ordered my drink, the guy behind the counter (not the owner) proceeded to pet another customer's dog. He then walked behind the counter, did NOT wash his hands and made my drink and handed me a straw that was NOT individually wrapped. Before anyone tries to say I must not have seen when he washed his hands, I didn't miss it because once I saw him pet the dog I made sure to stick around and literally went up to the counter. I know to many this isn't a big deal. It's great that this is a dog friendly place but please wash your hands thoroughly, animals carry lots of germs!
