I have always had a good experience at this Sees Candie's! They always give samples, are super helpful, and I can always find what i'm looking for. Sees Candies has such great chocolates and gifts! read more

I've always loved See's Candies. From their branding to their chocolates, it has always been a favorite of mine. This is a newer location in South Coast and they are next to Swarovski. It seems smaller compared to the previous location. They still give samples when you go up to the display where you choose your own chocolates and pay per pound. I find that their chocolates are pricey, even though it's cheaper compared to Laderach. I never come to See's without getting a giftcard from Costco to save a few bucks. read more

See's Candies - The new See's Candies location in South Coast Plaza is next to Swarovski. 2/2/2026 - Candy Stores Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

The new See's location is open at South Coast, tell a friend! Before this, you had to trudge all the way to the other side of the mall on Bear Street for your candy fix. Now, the Bristol side of the mall has a new location, complete with a chocolate bar. Love it! I stopped by on a weekday afternoon. The staff were welcoming and friendly and greeted us with free samples. I got my classic bridge mix but there's so many options here, including lots of fun fall treats. Will absolutely be back! read more

Who doesn't like See's Candies? Not me! Yes, I love See's and always stop by this store when I'm at the mall. See's has actually been moving around quite a bit the last few years in this mall, South Coast Plaza. But I always find them. :) This current store is much smaller than the other ones in the past and they do not have the counter with all the cases that you can actually select your own pieces if you like a variety. However, the store is super clean and very organized. My favorites are the truffles and also the dark chocolate scotchmallows. So smooth and rich. So yummy. read more

This is my favorite See's location. Although busy, the employees manage to welcome every guest each time with a smile and a fun little chocolate. I've noticed the nicest lady, Michelle is always smiling and making shoppers feel welcome and recommending flavors. She really knows how to tailor a chocolate recommendation to your liking. She really goes above and beyond even when it's busy, which is quite frequently is. Will always come here! read more

Every time I visit a See's Candies store, it just brings back so much memories for me. Ever since I was a little girl, my mom would buy me a lollipop as a treat. Now that I am an adult, I still buy myself a lollipop as a treat along with other delicious chocolate goodies. I have to say every time I come the taste is consistent. My favorite is their rum nougat which has cherries inside. I also like their California crunch as that contains yummy white chocolate and crunchy bits. Even now shopping for holiday gifts I still buy 1 pound of chocolates for my parents to enjoy. Well, I like about this candy store is that they also sell various mugs, bags, and gift boxes. So for people that are more whole conscious, I can still give them something that See's candy that is healthy. This store also has their own gift cards so that's another fun way to share ! read more

We were in this Costa Mesa location today. We wanted to get some chocolates to have with our coffee. We're glad we went in coz we met this awesome manager (Ronald) there. Aside from giving us samples, See's Candies always does, he helped me get what I was looking for! Thanks Ronald. We'll stop by and see you when we're at the mall. read more

I have honestly enjoyed See's Candies chocolates and lollipops ever since I was a kid. There's such a large assortment, but I've definitely developed my favorites over the years. The price point has always been great, but it does get a bit more pricier if your aim is to purchase a gift box. However, they do have great gift options that I'd recommend for any special occasion as their themes tend to match the seasons very well. For these reasons, every star I've given in favor is certainly deserved. I've been to several locations, busy or not, and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, the service at this location was not the best as we felt quite unwelcome. I entered this location at a busy time, with a line of at 5-7 people. Waiting was no problem. But as soon as it was our turn, I and a friend were very rushed to figure out what we wanted to order despite groups prior being able to explore the options for a few minutes before deciding. We were hurriedly handed samples without getting to process what we just tried. We quickly chose something without any help which was unfortunate. Stopping by See's Candies is something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to, but I was disappointed today. Perhaps it was on off day since I've never felt this unwelcome at a See's before. read more

I walked into this store yesterday with my toddler who unfortunately started being difficult and I had to walk out. A nice gentleman that worked there walked out and handed my son a sample. I was very grateful and appreciative with this employee. I decided to come back today to buy chocolate. I usually just grab the 1 lb ready to go boxes but today I decided to choose my own chocolates. The employee that helped wasn't very warm or nice. I had never chosen my own chocolates before so I was not sure how it worked exactly. When I asked if I was close to the pound she just stared at me silently and showed me the half way full box. I told her I was not sure what that meant. She proceeded to tell me that filling the box was a pound which was wrong because I didn't fill the box and went over the pound. Which I don't mind, what I did mind was her silence with my question. It's unfortunate that this was the store manager, Selina K. read more

Big awesome experience! Staff was exceptionally kind, gave me lots of free chocolates. The minute I stepped in chocolate was shoved in my mouth. Just how I like it! Lots of shoving in my mouth. Good stuff. Thank you sees's candy bald man! read more

I've always had a pleasant and speedy experience at this See's location, despite it being one of the more popular locations. (As SCP is a destination mall for locals and visitors alike.) They are located on the first floor of the main building for South Coast Plaza, near the carousel and next to the currency conversion location. During the pandemic, they are enforcing proper social distancing via floor markers and limiting people in the store. All staff members are wearing masks and samples are being given out at the end of the transaction, individually wrapped. They are also offering online ordering and pick-up if you prefer. I personally felt very safe in the store when I went recently. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful when I've had questions. Also all of them have been great when it comes to packing a custom box and they make sure everything is packed tightly. Stock has been good at this location as well. I've rarely had a case where they are out of a product. read more

As a hardcore See's fanatic, I'm used to encountering really chipper and helpful employees. Unfortunately, I've consistently had the very opposite experience at this location inside South Coast Plaza. The employees always seem annoyed, overwhelmed and downright impatient. I literally just walked in the other day and immediately the employee in line demanded to know if we would be getting a bag or a box when we hadn't even had a chance to look around! It's really astounding considering I have no idea how anyone working in a chocolate environment can even possibly be grumpy, but it's truly negative vibes all around here. read more

Delicious and affordable chocolates. Great service. Huge selection and plenty of samples. See's is amazing!

The picture shows the location is outside but it's inside the mall. The current location is inside the mall and not too deep inside the mall. Although that location is being renovated and their temporary location is to the right of the carousel near and not too far of a walk. Although I wasn't greeted the cashier was friendly. read more

I came here recently to buy candy for some gift bags I was making and found the most delicious 4th of July themed candy. This See's location had such a great selection that I was able to stock up on some wonderful candy for both my family and friends. Besides the cute 4th of July themed boxes with milk chocolate candy, they also had chocolate stars wrapped in red, white, and blue foil. I couldn't wait to make those holiday themed gift bags. I also bought some sugar-free peanut brittle, dark chocolate with walnuts, and milk chocolate bars for my diabetic friends. I even found some great candy for my hubby and son, both of whom are really picky about what they like. The service has always been good at each See's location I've ever been to, and this location is no exception. They offered us free samples as we shopped and also grabbed us a basket when our hands were full. The employees were really helpful here. For a great selection of candy and wonderful chocolate, this is the perfect place to satisfy those sugar cravings while shopping at SCP! read more

I went to See's Candy store after I got off work. I was assisted by Ana very helpful in every way. Actually everyone has been pleasant and even the customers. Ana helped me get 50 chocolate cigars for baby shower and had great ideas of what else I do for the drive by baby shower . I ended up buying 90 candy suckers too. There was not enough of the chocolate cigars and Ana took my information down and ordered more for me and was able to also speak to Martha the Manager she made sure to get the needed number of chocolate cigars for me as well. The See's Candy store was busy because of Mother's Day coming up but Ana was fast, helpful and efficient. The chocolate are super sweet, just like Ana & Martha that makes you want to come back for more and believe me I'm coming back for more. read more

sees candy: my wet dream. they basically have something for everyone. nuts, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, nugat, carmel, marshmellow. i used to go to godiva but since its now gone i come here. i love how affordable it is. the gifting and seasonal items are soo cute. workers are ok they seem young and immature and laughing but i dont care about the customer service. the free sample was some kind of sugar nugat. can i honestly just have 1 of everything? the scotchmellow is heaven in a bucket. chocolate/marshmellow/carmel. omg. i wanna come here everyday read more

See's Candies is great. You get a free sample of their choosing. I tried the Vanilla Buttercream and ended up getting some of that too. I bought a few other chocolates, namely ones with coconut, since I have an affinity for anything coconut. I bought boxes of the Lollypops to take home to Chicago for my friends. It takes forever to finish a Lollypop but it's great. read more

Tried the raspberry cream dark chocolate. The raspbery filling was more dark in color and had a more tart taste, but it still conplemented the dark chocolate very well. Very delicious!!! I will definitelt come back to try more flavors read more

When it comes to Sees candy- I don't think there is a comparison. Having grown up on sees candies at South Coast Plaza, it is also very nostalgic for me whenever I grab a candy from here. I was wasting some time in here and it happened to be deliciously spent, as I was able to sample a dark chocolate Nougat- delicious! Bought a box of dark chocolates- now if onlty I can not eat the whole box.... read more

This has to be the first time I've walked into a See's and not be offered the free sample. We weren't going to ask for it and I know the lady who was checking us out was just being really weird about it even though we purchased a few items. Literally everybody else around us got a free sample and she just stood there and stared at us. She was some youngish looking blonde chick. Sorry but that was incredibly awkward. read more

I came here as my first time ever to See's candy.. a woman named Erika came to *help* me. Worst customer service ever. The worst attitude and she had such a terrible demeanor. Was not patient, rude when she spoke. Someone needs to teach her customer service! She didn't even pack my candies nicely.. they were just all over the place. She had this passive aggressive tone of voice.. i saw that all the other employees next to her were smiling and giving genuine service.. but Erika.... I don't know. I gave a star for the chocolates at least. The chocolates were good! read more

The worst service for holiday orders. The pictures and descriptions are out right misleading and overpriced The delivery is terrible I paid for several professional orders in 2017 and have been completely embarrassed. I saved the emails from a "quote" supervisor. Dr. S Kuperhand read more

***See's Candies offers a very traditional selection of chocolates, but they are fresh and satisfying*** This See's Candies is located on the first floor of the South Coast Plaza (Costa Mesa) next to the carousel and Puzzle Zoo. This See's is like any other See's. Good service; tasty and fresh chocolate with lower prices than Godiva. It is best to customize a box (both for freshness as well as to make sure you get enough of your favorites). Like other See's, they pack the customized boxes here quickly. While I like See's chocolates, I was surprised at how expensive their chocolates were when you just buy a few pieces. You must get a discount when you buy a full pound box because my friend only got a few pieces and it was over $2 (still cheaper than Godiva though). I will have to check their prices on my next visit because it may just make a lot more sense to opt for the half pound or the full pound over a few chocolates in a bag. Parking is free in the large lot that supports South Coast Plaza. read more

Each time I walk past this store, there is usually no one inside. The one time I went in, there was a CRAZY line. Don't get me wrong, I was MAD that I had to wait for almost 20 minutes to pay for my one pound box. But, I couldn't stay mad when I noticed that the customer service was so amazing. The man that was holding up the line decided he wanted to pick each chocolate he wanted in his 5 pound box. If I was working there, I would have been curt even borderline rude, but the worker helping him was patient while he confirmed each choice before putting the items into the box. That is amazing service. I give this place 4 stars for their ability to stay patient and kind to each customer. read more

I just ate dinner in the mall but wanted a little something sweet for dessert. This place was clean and the ladies working their were friendly. I love Sees and I especially love their chocolate almond clusters and vanilla lollipops! BUUUUT .. After this particular Sees location upset my sister yesterday (Halloween) I don't think I'd give this Sees at South Coast business ever again. We walked around South Coast Plaza Halloween night because my little brother and little sister dressed up and I had a couple things to buy. They went to Sees and the guy working (Hispanic, glasses and dark hair) gave my little brother a lollipop but refused to give my sister one because she was "too old". Are you kidding me? She's barely a teenager and she still had enough spirit to dress up.. is it really gonna hurt you or the company to give her one lollipop? I guess 60 cents is just too much to lose? But whatever, Godiva on the other hand was SUUUPER nice, complimented their costumes, were very friendly and gave them a handful of chocolate truffles that tasted amazing! I know where I'm getting my chocolates from now on :) read more

Really who are you kidding the place is good however, if Fanny May's was in town move over cuz I'd be there weekly!

Always great, so consistent, friendly staff, excellent candies! Family favorite for 50 years, give or take... Dark chocolate w/peanut butter would be a good addition to the already wonderful selection. Dark chocolate with ginger is surprisingly delicious...as is anything with dark chocolate...Guess I like dark chocolate.
