The BEYOND BURGER was sooooo good!! I would be happy to come back for dinner!! I chose the sweet potato fries as my side. They were think & really good! My hubs got the cauliflower chickpea tacos and we give them a 4 star. But that burger was a for sure 5 star!! The restaurant is small & at the far end of the complex. It wasn't really crowded but we always try to eat at the off hours. It took a few for the food to come out but it was fresh & hot! Perfect!! So thankful to have a vegan place so close to home; I'm over near Apache and most places I like are in Phoenix (35+ minutes away)! I've been here twice so far but I'm absolutely going to continue coming back. The service is always prompt and the servers are always very kind and helpful. The food is reasonably priced and consistently fantastic! Update: the menu has changed drastically since the last time we've gone and it's very disappointing. I'm all for supporting our local businesses throughout the year but especially during these trying and difficult times. Each and every one of us have been impacted by the current pandemic in some way, shape or form. That being said this little gem of a restaurant serves some very good food, uses quality ingredients and is reasonably priced. The service is good, friendly and prompt. It is a bit difficult to find which is why it warmed my heart on the night I dined there to see the restaurant doing brisk business. I'm not a vegan but I make an effort several days a week to eat a meatless diet as I am passionate with regards to our environment. They had the best impossible burger! Other times I've had an impossible burger, I was always left with an awkward aftertaste. This burger didn't have that! This place does it so right! Believe or not I ate all the food in the picture. I'll give a little review for each item below. But first the restaurant in general is cute w/ good music and the staff is nice. The location is slightly isolated so I hope they get more business. The impossible burger: This burger was definitely unlike anything I've ever tried. A good way to put it is a Japanese take on the vegan burger. It tastes like a sushi roll and burger had a baby named peanut. The Bacon Mac and cheese: This was ok. The bacon was not bacon at all but maybe some weird bacon flavor cracker. On the other hand the macaroni was good but not great. It's just my opinion but I prefer al dente noodles and these were way past that. The cauliflower tacos: These had a wonderful taste and I didn't read that they came with guacamole so that was a wonderful surprise. Sadly, there was very little cauliflower for each of the three tacos and it was mostly chickpeas. All in all a good restaurant but I'm not sure if I would come back for the burger due to it being the most expensive item on the menu at 17$. read more

I'm headin' down the Arizona highway, looking for the Seed Shack, Seed Shack! The Seed Shack is a little place where we can get together and enjoy great vegan food. I ordered the BBQ Jackfruit sandwich, it was tasty with just the right amount of BBQ sauce, NO soggy sauce-soaked bun here. The fresh cucumber slices in the sandwich instead of lettuce added a nice sweetness and crunch. The macaroni salad was nicely seasoned, and lightly dressed, not drowning in mayo. In previous visits I have ordered the yummy Black Bean Burger with the lemon tahini which is a delicious substitute for mayo. And finally, treat yourself to the Mango Coconut pudding. . . it's worth a few extra calories. read more

Good food but pricey to be hungry afterwards. a well though out menu of unique vegan options can be found. The chocolate hummus is 100% original and very good but pricey. The PB&J impossible burger was interesting but the PB&J overpowered all of the other flavors. Inside is a nice long booth seat covered in unique fruit and veggie slice looking pillow which adds a whimsical touch, as does the slow jazz versions of pop songs. This hidden gem has soo much great food. Friendly and fast service. They have a lot of Vegan options which is great. The flavor of the food is delicious. Having just recently started a vegan diet, this place does not make you miss meat or dairy. We tried the fries with chili, cauliflower chickpea tacos, and vegan mac n cheese. This is my first time ordering from here and I can't recommend the Beet Burger enough. I have a gluten allergy- so I went with the gf bun. It's SO FREAKING DELICIOUS! One try and now I'm a loyal customer! Eating vegan AND gluten free is challenging, especially during COVID restrictions. I called the restaurant prior to ordering via Uber Eats and the gal that answered the phone was friendly and went above and beyond to answer my questions. I've brought a few people here and everyone (non vegans included) were amazed at how good it was. My husband and I have been on a gut protocol for 2 weeks, so we decided to come today since we needed something good but also that was gluten free. I have tried almost everything on this menu and the only things I don't like are because it's too spicy LOL. The food is amazing, fresh and tasty. Service is extraordinary. I would eat this every day if I could afford it. That's not to say that the food is not reasonably priced, it is. I just can't afford to eat out every day. I decided to stop in during lunch and I'm glad I did. The lady at the register greeted me and walked over to me as soon as I walked in the restaurant. the place was definitely clean and the music was relaxing, Definitely a laid back vide. Their menu is not too crazy but there's enough to keep you happy and satisfied. It is a little on the pricy end but it's understandable for the type of food that they are providing. I ordered the Black Bean Burger and a Passion Fruit Green Tea (unsweetened) Omg let me tell you it tasted amazing. The black bean patty did not taste dry or brittle. The lemon tahini was not over powering and mixed in very good with the whole thing. Omg The sweet potato fries were so good and I just wanted more and more. The drink in itself was yummy and very thirst quenching and I'm glad I went with it. Actually did not taste like it was unsweetened but oh well. Haha The only down side to this place is the cost but I mean it's kinda understandable. I would definitely recommend this place to people in the area. My S/O took me out for a date night at Seed Shack. Immediately upon walking in, I fell in love with the clean fresh vibe and bright decor. It's a small restaurant tucked into the back of a promenade. It's definitely difficult to find, but so worth the drive from the West Valley. The staff consisted of two adults in their late 20s that were more than happy to explain the menu and what some of the menu items were. As a vegan of many years, I loved how understanding and aware they were. We shared the truffle mac & cheese, a beyond meat "bacon cheeseburger", and caramelized plantains with yam "nice cream". Everything had a men's, unique flavor and beautiful plating. We went on a weeknight and it was very quiet. I bet it's busier on the weekends. Don't get me wrong even when it started to pick up while they were dashing about, customer service was superb throughout service. I had an orange chickn bites with a slaw salad and a mixed berry smoothie. The chickn itself was very nice though I did think it could have used a bit more orange and little less basil. As my side I got the cucumber watermelon cilantro salad. I must say, the cilantro was a tad overpowering, but the salad was super refreshing. Perfect for a hot day.
