That was the pain I was thinking of purchasing...

2 days ago I was walking by market street and saw a cute pair of purple eye glasses in the window. So I went inside to look at them. At first the lady was so friendly and as I tried them on it was too tight. I wanted to try another pair on. Her attitude starts to change and became impatient to me as I ask questions and I did tell her I am new to wearing reading glasses and I had a pair of coach and they became too loose. The worst part whe I wanted to see if the pink eye glasses case will fit another pair of purple frame I picked out The older man who was sitting at the desk got up and said what are you doing? He tossed roughly the pair Ii was looking at inside the pink case and said it fits i was so amazed that he was so rude and abrupt and he would expect me to buy from this place. He rushed to the door to open it. It made me feel unwelcome. The glasses were cute and suits me I just wanted to ask about the prices and see how the service work since I have never been inside the store. It is so unfriendly. The lady ask if I am ready to make the 2 pair purchases I said I need to think about it . I told the older rude man that I don't feel like I want to come back to this place. He said it's up to you dear and we have answered all your questions. I felt so sad and regretful I even stepped foot inside this place so sad bad customer ruined the reputation of a nice place with good products when you have bad customer services and I wish you have a different location in san francisco with friendlier staff so I can shop and spend my money and bring my friends and family.

When you're a kid, the worst thing is being told you have to wear glasses. When you're a teenager - the worst thing is trying to find glasses that celebrate who you are opposed to the mass offerings that stifle it. While at Crown and Crumpet enjoying a mother-daughter date my daughter noticed our servers cute glasses. She asked where she got them and that's how we came to this gem of a find! The glasses offered here are affordable, stylish, and they have a great selection. They change their frame inventory every 30 days so you aren't wearing what everyone else is wearing. I bought my daughter prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses. Oh - speaking of prescriptions. They do not offer eye exams here so bring your prescription or go to Lens Crafters close by to get yours. Another thing to love? The customer service is excellent! While my daughters are very sweet and quiet-they have personality and spunk! As I tell them, I tell you: Be you. Wonderfully uniquely you in all ways, every day ...including your eyeglasses. Live out loud. A confident girl is a great thing. Thank you See Eyewear for your part in my younger daughters positive self-expression! I will be back - I need sunglasses and your $99 deal speaks to me .

I don't know how many people I've converted to SEE. It's not a new religion but once you experience the brilliant design, stellar customer service and inexpensive prices you won't know how to live with out it. I've convinced friends, family, co-workers to go here and pick up a new pair of stylish glasses. These glasses aren't just functional, they're art. They make you wonder why you wear contact lenses. They are that cool. The designs are the best that Europe has to offer. Forget the same name brand frames you've seen over and over in those mall stores. Come here and get something different, something unique, something stylish. You'll be glad you did. Trust me. They say the first thing people notice is the last thing you put on in the morning. I don't know if that's true or not. At whatever time you put on your eyeglasses, they'll be noticed. I've been to SEE around the country. It's always the same stellar customer service. At this new Market Street location you may notice the same people from the Union Street store. These aren't just salespeople. They're professionals. They know how to get you in and out in a hurry. They won't bug you either. If you want to browse for an hour and try on every frame, go ahead, no pressure. You won't feel pressured to buy anything but you will want to talk to the stylish employees. They know what they're doing and they'll give you the truth. If something doesn't look great or isn't working for you, they'll tell you the truth. If you're totally lost (and everyone is here the first time) they know exactly what to pick for you. What's incredible about this place though is the price. I know you're used to paying $800 for designer frames at the mall. You could get three or four frames here for the same price. I'm not joking. I've purchased frames (complete with lenses) for only $159. Look for coupons and special offers and you can walk away with some great deals. Typically the frames run from $159 to $349 including lenses. Anti-glare is $100 more. You can also get any pair turned into sunglasses if you want. The new Market Street store is same as all the other stores in the country: stylish eyewear for very little money. Check it out next time you're in the area. You'll not be disappointed.

I'm blind as a bat, but SEE made me see again! Soooo, I refuse, refuse, R.E.F.U.S.E.!! to get lasik surgery. I'm a chicken-butt when it comes to surgery, especially surgery with your eyeballs peeled opened. NO WAY!! Sooo...that means I'm stuck looking like a nerd. But nerds can still look cute too, right?! I'm always looking out for glasses that will make me look like a super hot sexy nerd. Okay...that may be going a weee bit far but at least I can look like a respectable cute nerd. Walking into this eye glasses boutique nearly brought tears to my eyes. It's beautiful in there. The product selections they carry are today, trendy, fresh, funky and very fun to wear. It'll turn any geeky nerd into a cute nerd, if not a sexy nerd. The staff is so friendly and they are FUN to talk with. They acted like I was their bff visiting from outside of town. One of the gals picked out a pair of glasses for me to try on and BAM!! instant cuteness. While I was examining my new found cuteness, another staff member came up to me and said, "CUTE!". And a few minutes later, another staff member who was fixing the display shelf, looks over his shoulder and screams out, "CUTE"!. That was 3 "cutes" within 2 minutes. I should have been blushing but I actually felt...well...cute. I took off the glasses and tested out my new found cuteness with another pair of glasses. And again, the same staff members scream out to me... "not as cute as the other pair", "the first pair was cuter", "stick with the other pair". I pulled this pair off and threw on a few more to make sure I still looked the cutest in the first pair of glasses. I then did the final test... I pulled my hair up and tried on the 1st pair. I looked at the gal who gave me the glasses originally and asked "cute"??? She nodded her head and said "cute!". That sealed the deal for me. I picked up my glasses about 10 biz days after ordering them. And since I had them do a super slim thin on my lenses, I don't look as blind as a bat. Just a little bit but not a lot. But more importantly, I look cute in them. Look out Tina Fey!

Thanks #SeeEyeWare, I love my glasses! Constant complements!

This is my favorite place to get fitted eyewear. There is no other place I know that can offer stylish frames as the ones here. Selections are unique and hip! The staff are professional and provide great service. Jeffrey was the first one who helped me. The first time I came in, I just came to check the place out because I was looking for eye ware. I mistakenly walked in thinking I was at LensCrafters; however, it was that luck that led me to find two awesome new pairs of glasses I have now. Jeffrey helped me choose the right frames for me and gave me great suggestions on whether I should thin the glasses, add tint, or even give them that transition lens. Whenever I come in, I get my glasses tightened and appreciate all the great service they provide.

I was able to do the new patient paperwork beforehand and the online system was clear and easy to use. The office was clean and upscale in appearance. Dr. Dagron was lovely. Efficient, kind and a great guide when deciding what to get. My old optometrist was always trying to upsell me on services but I felt like Dr. Dagron just wanted to get me what I needed (glasses and contacts) and best leverage my insurance rates. I highly recommend Eyes On You Optometry if you want a professional and empathetic optometrist and an exceptional experience from beginning to end!

We were able to find a nice pair here (costly but that was ok), and got an updated eye test/prescription. Unfortunately, after a couple of days they were causing headaches and eye pain. He decided to continue to wear them since they were knee and maybe needed to get used to it. Still nothing. Called the store, and got seen. The primary doctor there made some adjustments, and took them back. Same thing, they resulted in pain/headaches. The dr felt careless and not very understanding, let alone interested in getting this right. Not returning given the lack of care and professionalism around this. We thought we'd find our new neighborhood eye glass shop too, but that was a fail.

Gorgeous showroom selection of their own line of glasses, and they don't pressure you to buy. Location: lovely Hayes Valley with some free street parking and lots of options to eat/shop after Technology: I used to think state of the art equipment didn't matter for a routine eye exam, but it makes for a more comfortable experience, helps establish baseline images, and identify things otherwise easily missed so you can monitor Service: Easy check in and check out process at the front Appointments: Love the ease of scheduling appointments online and easy to get a hold of on the phone. Appointments are on time with plenty of time to ask lots of questions (which is encouraged). Saturday appointments are much appreciated. Dr: Supportive, friendly, calm demeanor, comprehensive and extremely detailed, takes a lot of notes to build a comprehensive file, good at explaining concepts and very patient Emergency: I had a tiny stray piece of velcro fly into my eye and I freaked out about it because I couldn't find the velcro. It was totally fine like she suspected but I super appreciate she squeezed me in same day to calm my nerves.

I bought a pair of $800 dollar OPT glasses that I can't wear. I went to the store 10-15 times in an attempt to get glasses that I could wear. First the order was lost, I tried to cancel the order but was pressured into keeping the order. Then the wrong lens were put in, and the frame was way to big for my head (frame too heavy for tiny wire arms), etc. The list is long. Countless adjustments and hours spent at the store. None of the glasses really fit my small head and so I settled on a pair of glasses that were medicore in style and comfort. They talked me into adding nose pads so that the glasses would fit my face. Buyer beware, glasses are non refundable. Once the staff add nose pads or make changes to the glasses so that you can actually wear them, they are non refundable. The first staff person I dealt with Allen was horrific. Pushed the most epensive glasses that did not fit me nor were they ever going to fit me. He tried to curl the wires around my ears which was so uncomfortable I couldn't wear the glasses. Talked about the limited ediciton and how the glasses were from France. Oh, and I could resell them. He also pretended to not recognzie me when I came back several times for adjustments and finally a new pair of glasses. One of the staff told me that no one could wear the glasses Allen sold me becasue the frames were too heavy. I have had amazing cutomer service at Target's Optical store. The glasses aren't fancy but the frames are comfortable, returnable and I can buy insurance which protects them when or if they break or become damaged. More expensive doesn't equal better customer service here.
