My life is forever changed for the better with the new security slides doors we had installed b SSD. We own a nonprofit rescue farm and have large dogs that need to be secured in the house and these doors are a life saver. First of all, they look great, second, they lock automatically and have a key to lock them as well. They are sturdy, tough and durable. I have 3 Belgium Malinois Shepherds and these doors can withstand them jumping and scratching them. They keep the dogs inside or outside and I can control when they come in or out. I can lock them from the inside and still have air coming in, I can lock them from the outside with a key, and secure the home even without locking the glass sliding doors. How did I not know about this sooner??? SSD is a family owned business and I always like to support small businesses. The owner David and his son Joe responded immediately to my call and came the same day to take measurements. They gave me an estimated delivery date and actually came a week early to install. Installation was as quoted, less than two hours, the outcome, outstanding! I highly highly recommend these doors for any dog owner, and any person who wants security and peace of mind during these trying times. Our house sits in a direction where air only comes in from the sliding door next to our dining room, which is next to the driveway. During summer/fall time, inside the house remains hot and stuffy while outside is already nice and cool. Because anyone can just walk up and come in from regular screen door, and our husky can easily break through the regular screen door and run out, we almost never open it.
