I had no idea renting a storage unit could be such a pleasant experience. I originally spoke with Delecia who I believe was not in my area, but helped me navigate the website and explained in detail what size unit I might need, explained the pricing, etc. When it came to actually making the rental I called the local location and spoke with Stevie, a wonderful woman that was equally as helpful and very pleasant to talk with. She gave me some additional pointers on the storage size and how I might use extra space because I had intended on doing lots of sorting and eliminating. When I finally moved my first load in, I spoke with Rosa, who handled multiple people at once brilliantly, making sure each one of us knew we were her top priority. She got me squared away with the specific unit and even walked me to the location and showed me how to open the rollup door and how to attach the padlock. You know if you have one good experience there's a chance it was a fluke, but to have three consecutive good experiences I feel very comfortable with my decision to rent my storage unit was security public storage. read more

We were one of the victims of a break in here. I guess several people got their trailers broken into as well. Not so secure.

Dont trust the word "Security"! Our RV was broken into last night along with several others. Boggles my mind how these thieves had that much time to walk around the place and window shop. Obviously they were there a while ,considering how many RV's they hit. One would think there would be cameras and motion sensors? I see cameras but they must be for decoration. I called to cancel my storage space because I received military orders and was told I would not get a refund. Basically they kept my money for a whole month and will rent it and get a doubles the money for the same month. Way to stick it to people who serve this country. read more

I am a 7 year military vet and 7 year wild land fire fighter and she is precise and handles herself professional yet made my move easier than ordering food at McDonald's. Security Public Storage Security Public has terrible business practices. I am a long-standing customer who until recently had no complaints with this company besides the rates. Upper management doesn't value their customer base. Knowledge Result I would not recommend that instead of spending an outrageous amount for this facility that continues to raise their rates please rent from another company. Update: In regards to the response below, I actually have been a customer for some time now and in the past have had increases in the prior unit. As I stated above the company continues to raise the cost of the rental fees. I get you to have bills, employees to pay, etc. I have found that for the same size unit there are much better rates at other facilities which in the end I have chosen to take advantage of. MILITARY BEWARE! RAT INFESTATION! DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY. THEIR INSURANCE POLICY IS PATHETIC AND WON'T COVER YOUR DESTROYED ITEMS. I know this place seems convenient because of the location, but it's not worth it. TMO won't come pick up your stuff here when they find out they have a rat infestation. Thousands of dollars of destroyed items we thought were safely stored and covered here. We thought wrong. Everything was destroyed to hell. Eaten and covered in rat shit due to a neighbor that moved in and brought mice. We tried and tried and tried to keep cleaning it so we could move everything out, only to find all our furniture, clothes, electronics and everything we could see... Chewed and covered in mice. The storage unit? Hah. They're a joke. They only cover $500 for rat damage. We asked them for help in eliminating the mice.... It seems like there's just more and more mice crowding our unit every day. We paid so much money and for what? For over 20 grand of our stuff to get destroyed. We hate this storage place. Still trying to contact their corporate to deal with this or else we're going to have to take legal actions against them. read more

MILITARY BEWARE!! Since the change of management the facility seems more secure and cleaner, however, I took pause with their making me sign over my service rights bestowed by the civil relief act. This gives them the right to discard and/or sell military members property in the event they do not pay. While I will be unaffected as I am retiring, I would advise a military member who needs a storage unit while they're deployed to seek services elsewhere. If you miss a payment due to any unforeseen circumstances, you could come home to no property. Update: I appreciate the response by the owner. That was absolutely NOT how it was explained to me. Tried making an adjustment to my billing info over the phone...no dice! They require you come in to fill out a form...but they did ask me if I wanted to make a payment over the phone??? So...I can authorize them to make an entire payment over the phone but can't make an adjustment to an existing card (expiration date) over the phone???? Good luck if you're deployed military ...you'll have to come in to sign forms once your card on file expires. read more

I just discovered that my camper was damaged during the break ins that happened a month ago. I'm very frustrated that despite the campers on both sides me being damaged I did not receive any notification from the facility to come and check my unit. I would have much preferred to start the insurance process a month ago instead of today. Disappointed in the staff response upon finding the damage. I understand that things are never 100% secure but a call would have been helpful. read more

Great customer service but facility is infested with rodents. I did not have any food or dry goods stored yet rodents chewed through cardboard boxes. We found fecal matter on and in all our items. We booked for a month and ended removing our stuff after two weeks. 100% do not recommend. Only reason for two stars is the great customer service upon booking. read more

Waaaaay too expensive and they raised the rent twice while I was here. When I first got the storage unit, they were kinda rude to me and insistent that I give them my commanders name and phone number. I'm a captain in the Air Force...I don't need to be babysat and find that offensive that they do that. read more
