Was a loyal customer for 7 years . Over the last 2 years ive had the rent raised 4 times ... once every six months ... due to "operating costs" . Thats laughable. I was paying $300 for a unit when i first became a customer . I just moved all my stuff to a new facility down the road because my rent was now almost $500 dollars . Ridiculous . Im renting the same sized unit for $130 a month now at the new facility . Also , the units at security public were always dusty and full of dirt . If you are going to raise rent .. you could at least invest it in trying to offer a cleaner , more modern facility with lights . Also , the difference with this location is they dont allow you gate access on holidays .. and only up to 7pm. At the new location i moved to ... gate access 365 days a year ... and up until 10pm every day. Now THAT is something worth paying for . Very sad security public offers "new" customers discounts ... but once you arent new anymore .. prepare for the rate increases to come flying in . read more

Went in for a U-Haul rental truck. The reservations were already made and paid for. Great service coupled with 24 hour drop off. A gift is given with Yelp Check In. The truck reeked of cat urea (yes really) and cargo van interior was clean. I cleaned the windows---all of them---before and after use. Was able to park on-site and it was secure. Congratulations on your baby girl and the wonderful employment that includes house. Only reason I stopped utilizing this faculty for my storage needs is because I moved farther away. The guys here always took care of me and and made me feel like family. It's not hard to plan access to my unit now at Security Public storage. Also, their office is open 9A-6P M-Sat. and Sun. 10A-4P. I've heard them all collaborate to expedite my request for a unit while also doing the same for other customers at the same time. Rented a 20 foot truck from the U-Haul, left the dolly over night at the apartment I was moving out of and they charged me for another day with insurance and gas plus mileage. Original bill was 89$, second charge was 129$. Beware people they are out to get you, currently disputing charges. They said they couldn't rent the 20 foot out again until I returned the dolly in a voicemail from Isaac, when I returned the dolly they had 8 others in the lobby. Not sure how that works but be careful. Wish I could include that voice mail. read more
