My only regret is that I did not go with them FIRST, I went with ADT, because I've only ever heard of them for security. So I called defenders (ADT dealer) and they sent a tech out. That POS didn't even mention that I had my house hard wired, he over sold me $2000 worth of sensors that I absolutely did not need! THANK GOD FOR SECURITY CONSULTANT PROS I asked them to come out after ADT to estimate outdoor cameras. They took a look around, "do you have gas?" .. no. "Why do you have a carbon monoxide sensor?" Because I'm an idiot and went with what the ADT tech told me. "Did you know that your house is hard wired and this is a simple takeover" that ADT tech never uttered the word "takeover" fml I was able to return most of the equipment but now I'm stuck with the 3 year contract with ADT, but with the money security consultant pros saved me, I could afford the outside cameras! Security Consultant Pros did an amazing install three years ago, and I wanted to add a few cameras, relocate others, update the doorbell camera, etc... Mary scheduled me within the week, and Jimmy and Matt arrived on-time with everything they needed. I have a weird, inaccessible attic, but the guys did an amazing job troubleshooting and completing the perfect set-up. Mary and Jimmy installed my security system at the end of last year and have made two service calls since (as a result of problems that were in no way their fault, I should note). From beginning to end they epitomize amazing customer service, and they really do treat you like family. They are always easy to reach, quick to respond and incredibly thorough in their work. Just today they came over to address an issue with one of my window contacts (I've had trouble with one of them ever since I got new windows. Unfortunately the window company didn't do the best job of reapplying the contacts when they were finished installing). Not only did they fix the problem contact quickly, but Jimmy also went through the entire house to resecure every other contact. He even gave me a free contact for my one remaining window that wasn't being monitored (when I had the system installed I was pretty strapped and just couldn't afford to arm every entry point). If that isn't wonderful service, then I don't know what is! Lastly, they take their work very seriously and are continually educating themselves on the latest and greatest technology available in the industry. Just moved to the area, and after having our house broken into and suffering thousands of dollars in damages and theft 10 years ago, I immediately went with BRINKs since they were our former company in another state for almost 3 years. What a humongous mistake! Since BRINKs does not have 24/7 security cameras, I did a GOOGLE search to find a reputable company to purchase our system from and also install them and I saw that Security Consultant PROs had not only great reviews but their family photo also caught my eye too= to me that was an indicator that they are proud of the value they provide to their community and quite confident in what they do. Within 48 hours of me calling Mary, her and her husband James were at our home doing an assessment of how many cameras we may need and they saw our BRINKS sensors for our windows and doors...to make a long story very short, I have canceled our BRINKS contract because Mary was able to provide a much better product that has better range for a lower price...and her son Jimmy- -who is an incredible computer GURU- -installed all of them for me! Additionally, the security cameras that I purchased from them and that James installed last month have incredible capabilities & features that make it easier to see objects both day and night. Rest assured that I shall NEVER recommend BRINKS in the future to anyone for as I sit here tonight writing this review, I have called BRINKS 4 times in the last 10 days in my attempts to get a return label for that is the only way to get a refund from them in a timely fashion...so I urge anyone reading MY review to not make MY mistake and instead call Mary for she and her terrific family shall take AWESOME care of you, your family, and your property/valuables for they will save you time, money, and lots of frustration too! read more
