Good variety of food and drinks. Two pool tables. Lots of seating. Friendly and quick service - Kaitlin was amazing.

Everything aesthetically looked great, but nearly everything was overcooked, dry, and had no seasonings. Our sever was great at first, but then disappeared after our food had arrived. We received our items in a timely manner, about 15 minutes after ordering, but the big problem was the taste, and lack of taste of the food.We were with our friend and his 10 year old daughter and she ordered the French toast and it tasted like meat! They must cook everything on the same grills without cleaning them in between. The best item was the wings. They were still very dry, but the seasoning was good on those at least. We each ordered beers and asked to not have chilled glasses as I saw some people at the beer receive them that way and they still delivered them in chilled glasses. I liked their options for beer though and they tasted good so they keep the lines clean. I like how they refreshed the space from how the brewery had it, they really utilized the space well and made it literally and feel larger and airier in there. The tvs are in great spots to be able to see a few from any place you're sitting in the restaurant. When we were there they had sports and news on silently without captions while top country music was playing. We won't be back, sad waste of a great location.

We read through the reviews and almost left. But we figured let's have a beer and some mozzarella sticks so we weren't rude to our server. First, our server rocked. Great guy and conversational without being too much. The mozzarella sticks rolled out and they were awesome. So we decided to stay and grab more food. Pizza was delicious (I do prefer a more thin crust with a bit more crunch, but I'm not here to split hairs), the wings were cooked to perfection, and the fish wasn't quite there. We did order "extra crispy" but within minutes the breading became soft. For a bar, I'd say it was good. Not worthy of so many one stars we saw. Room for improvement? Of course! But there is ALWAYS room for improvement. We would definitely revisit.

Great selection of top shelf liquor.

The jalapeño poppers and wings are dynamite. Service with three different barkeepers was also top notch. Whomever rated this place poorly was either having a bad day or completely oblivious to the food and service. Fast service, well prepared food, and great pours.

"Pint glass" next to water glass. That "pint glass" could not possibly hold 16 ounces, especially when it's so full of ice.

I really wanted to like this place, but the disappointments kept coming. Mozzarella sticks were so salty they were heartburn inducing; the marinara was supposed to be warm but was cold (not a dealbreaker, but just another negative point). The chili cheese fries had just a sprinkle of cheese, but plenty of chili. No condiments with it and none on the table. The New Yorker sandwich we ordered was *wet* on the bottom slice. It was supposed to come with sauerkraut but instead had thousand island dressing. What? We ordered three different drinks. The first, the Golden Bullet tasted like an alcohol-free ginger beer. The second, a Peach Beach, was very tasty but mostly ice (also supposed to be served in a pint glass, but see photo. The third, the Tower 34Tini we ordered with light ice and they brought a half glass-full out (see sad photo). Then the lid wasn't tight, so pouring into the martini glass provided meant even LESS drink as the table got soaked. Finally, 15 TVs in here, all playing the UT game (yay local football!) but the ONE I was watching was switched to Florida/Tennessee game. Why not two of the side-by-side TVs you ask? I guess mine was the one that the bartenders could see best. I dunno. It was irritating though and I had to change my seating. It wouldn't have been that irritating except, as stated, everything else that detracted from what could have been a fine time.

The interior of this place is really nice and our server was really sweet and helpful. The food could use some work. We really liked the Buffalo wings but not the garlic Parmesan. The fries could definitely be crispier but were seasoned well. The pizza rolls were a hot mess. First of all, they were way too big and the texture was gross and got boring after a while. They were mostly made up of dough and were so oily. I did like pizza sauce; it had a really nice flavor. But it was totally overpowered by the ridiculous amount of dough and oil. I'd be interested to come back and try some other things on the menu but wasn't super impressed after this first visit.

Old Taylor High has a few hidden gems in it. 1922 Libations and Bites might be the best thing the…read morebuilding has to offer. 1922 is a bar first and foremost, but it also has a solid kitchen on top of it. For being in an old classroom, after a certain point you forget you're even in a high school, as the atmosphere of the space feels quite welcoming. I ordered a Fleur de Violet to start the night, made with St. Rémy, lavender syrup, Absolut pear, and lavender bitters, creating an incredibly refreshing floral drink. Alongside it, I ordered the Pesto Chicken Sandwich, which is grilled chicken with mozzarella, red pepper, and, of course, a housemade pesto served on ciabatta. I was starved, and it hit the spot. Super flavorful and filling, plus it came with a side of kettle chips. After my drink, I shifted to a pour of Lone Star in a frosted glass, and the bartender gave us a show to watch as he poured it. The two guys working the main restaurant were quite sociable and friendly. The spot was pretty busy into the evening before we shifted into the speakeasy side of the restaurant for a final drink. I got their Hemingway, made with Flor de Caña, grapefruit, lime, and maraschino liqueur. Another fine drink! The speakeasy is like a second space in itself and even more engrossing and enthralling than the main restaurant. Nothing else in Old Taylor High has the service, the experience, or the overall craftsmanship than 1922 has. When we stepped out after our few drinks, the bright lights of the former high school hallways sobered us up, as we went back into reality. RIYL: A great dining and drinking experience in a unique location

My husband and I went here initially just to get a drink and check the place out. I looked at the…read moremenu and decided to take a chance, even though some of the food items were...risky..in such a small place in such a small town. MAN were we pleasantly surprised. Grant puts ALL his love into his food and it shows!! We had the bone marrow and a BLT. I have to say BEST BLT I've ever had and that is saying a lot cause it's my favorite sandwich. The bacon was insanely thick pork belly and even the tomato was thick cut & juicy. Grant was loading the bone marrow up with sea salt before broiling and I was thinking "enough salt already," but it was PERFECTION. John made the drinks and they were also delicious! I had an Aviation cocktail (one of my favorites) and it was not too sweet; perfectly balanced. I do wish this place had some outdoor seating easily accessible for when it cools down a bit, but it was really such a positive experience we don't even care; we WILL be back. DO NOT go in here expecting to leave quickly or get a "cheap meal." It is a place to savor, enjoy the flavors, and pay for what you are getting. If you are a foodie, you will LOVE it!!! GREAT addition to Taylor, thank goodness!!

We went yesterday afternoon and its a really nice property with tons of space. They have a cool stage area, a playground, several tables near the bar with view of the tv and some open inside space next to cornhole. I want to say they had about 8 of other breweries beers on tap (real ale bock and Pinthouse Scorpion Disco are the two I remember) and then they also had cocktails and 2 of their own beers: an amber, and then what I got: the tangerine cream ale. I thought it was pretty good which was surprising as usually, new breweries take a bit to get things figured out. It would be a solid beer for a warm day. The bartender was friendly and they also had a bbq truck on site that smelled delicious but we didn't have time to check-out this time. The only negative I'd say is there is zero inside space with A/C, its all open air. That's not a dealbreaker for me but as its only going to get even hotter, I'm curious how it will impact their business.

Dog friendly and kind of a tree house on the hill vibe. The food truck was closed when we got there, but they had an event for Mother's day, so my guess was they sold out.
