We went with secard pools a couple of years ago. Now my pump went out and they said it's out of warranty. I called around for a quote and I found out that I have to get a variable speed pump because a law took affect in California in 2018 title 20 for energy efficiency. I was told since the city inspector signed off on it, it's a done deal. Before all of this I had a bunch of issues with the concrete work and I had to do all the clean up myself when they were done. Open trenches I had to fill in myself. I do not recommend this company!!! read more

Be careful! once they finish installing your pool you are pretty much left hanging if you come across issues. I'm sorry we ever trusted them. After two years our pump has gone out and our pool looks like it is leaning to one side. If you call and leave a message don't hold your breath waiting for a return phone call. Make sure to shop around and do your research on vinyl pools. I wish we had spent the extra money and purchased a concrete pool. read more

I'll start by saying that the delivery and setup team from this business are professional, friendly and absolutely a pleasure to deal with, it was incredible to see how seamless the process was with the crane guy. Vince was also really available to text with leading up to my visit since we live 1.5 hours away from this location and was friendly throughout the whole visit. Having said that, I went back and forth on writing this review because as you can tell by my yelp history, I usually only get on to praise people. However I continue to be so sad at this situation daily and hope this can help others when shopping. This place has really low prices compared to others but now I may know why... we bought the Cal Spa swim pro 16 foot model 1681 primarily to use as a workout tool because I have terrible arthritis and it's all that helps. We were told countless times by Vince that we were getting the exact model we were looking at in the showroom minus the Bluetooth speakers which I didn't care about. We were told there were a ton of swim levels in the control for even the best swimmers and that we needed to run the Siemens 60amp breaker to support that feature. We purchased that breaker when installing the electrical for nothing. We learned that what we got was the BP20X control system which didn't need it instead of what we were told we got which would have been the NEO2100 swim pro. It wasn't until after the delivery team left, and we were hooking up the electrical, it became really clear that we did not get the model promised. The control screen was totally different (which I thought could just be a newer model) but it was because we got a total base model with 4 buttons on one end and the touch screen on the other end is very basic. The swim spa didn't have any variable speed in swimming besides jets on or off. The speed can't be controlled which leads to me not being able to keep up unless I only turn one side of the jet on and that pushed me into the side and then my husband who although is a good swimmer, is not Michael Phelps but he moves his arms 2-3 times and is in the jets. He has to tie himself with a bungee cord or else he can't use this for exercise at all because the ONE speed jets are too weak for him to swim in. I'm so incredibly frustrated every time we go in there. I'll also need to contact Calspas because even though we have it setup to filter 8 hours a day, it's totally filthy and we have the spa covered unless we are in it and the filters are clean so I don't understand why it's so dirty. We spent a huge chunk of our savings ( $19k for spa, 3k for concrete pad and $1000 for the crane) and it feels terrible to have been bait and switched and not received what we were told we got. This was completely unavoidable, the rep could have said " the model you are looking at is $24,000 if you can only afford 18k, here's what you'll sacrifice." And then we could have made an informed decision as a family to pay for what we really needed since at this point it was such a big purchase for us that we would have committed to getting everything we wanted. Did he think we wouldn't notice the one feature we came for without the Swim Pro Trainer?!? Obviously we are stuck now because you can't exactly drive back and return a 2 ton swim spa but if nothing else, this can serve as a lesson to others. Have your write up promise specific features that are only available in the swim spa you want to guarantee this doesn't happen to you. read more

I found the perfect model and paid for it then and there. They contacted me to set up a delivery date and scheduled Leon's Spa Movers to come and pick up my old tub and set up the new one. Antonio listened to what are thoughts were and steered us in the correct direction and DID NOT try to upsell us but got us what we actually wanted/needed for our needs. Needed a crane lift to get it in the backyard and they arranged for the crane to get there when the delivery crew showed up with the hot tub everything went like a well oiled machine . I was very impressed with Secard Pools and spas of Menifee. I worked with Ricardo and picked his brain regarding all the questions I had about a swim spa. Ricardo new every single answer and made me feel confident in choosing the spa that I did. The reason that I chose this spot was because I was out late driving and this was the only spa place that was open past 5 p.m, so I went inside at 6:30 p.m.. They closed at 7 p.m. but Ricardo was happy to show me around to answer all my questions and I didn't end up leaving until after 7: 30 p.m. In order to ensure I was getting a good deal, I did quite a bit of shopping around. We moved from Romoland to Wildomar and wanted to get an inground vinyl pool. Having dealt with Secard Pools for my In-laws pool, I knew I wanted the same service. I worked with Aaron and we got a good deal on our pool for our new Wildomar house. Aaron stayed in close contact throughout the entire process from start to finish. Although there were some small problems during construction, Aaron made sure everything was up to our satisfaction. Sadly our pool was completed just as the weather changed and we haven't been able to enjoy it. It just sits there, so inviting, but extremely too cold to get it. We were told that our pool would be a 4 day project. Days spread apart but none the less 4 visits. It's been about 8 visits and it's still not done. I've tried calling our sales rep who helped us (Antonio) and he will not call or respond back- at all. He's rarely working so When speaking to Juan in the "corporate" offices- he shared that the Liner would take 6-8 weeks to order!!! I read the documents and it said that it will be a "considerable about of time " to install liner. What upset us the most is that upfront we were told it would be a four day project and it's turned into double that. It will literally be over a year from when we signed the contract to completion. We have asked Juan to speak to a higher level supervisor and we have yet to hear back. It's our mistake to have paid for the pool upfront. This business is too busy for decent customer service. Juan's sarcasm, Antonio's lack of accountability and communication and over promises are incredibly disappointing. 3 stars for the hard working crew members who actually do the work well.
