I tried Seattle Pops for the first time today when we spotted their booth at the Fremont Sunday market. I've always seen their stands and wanted to try it out but never got to it, then Covid happened, etc. Today was the perfect weather to finally try some popsicles. We got the lilikoi (passion fruit) and very strawberry popsicles. I tried both and I preferred the strawberry because it was less icy in texture from the puréed strawberry and a little less sweet. I liked that it still had the strawberry seeds so you can tell it has real fruit in there. The passion fruit flavor was also good, but I'd definitely try other flavors over this one next time. These were probably the most expensive popsicles I have ever gotten ($5 each), but I thought it was worth it for a special occasion on a beautiful day at the market. read more

My whole perception on popsicles has completely changed because of these amazing pops. I remember Seattle Pops having a little pop-up booth at the summer Seafood Parade a few years ago, and we got some popsicles, and I couldn't forget how good they were. Who knew that popsicles could be elevated or even kind of "gourmet." I love how they use all natural, fresh AND local ingredients, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients in each popsicle, and man, every bite is an explosion of flavor! When we stopped by, we got a lilikoi (passion fruit), guava, kona coffee, cookies + cream, and a chocolate fudge pop. We also got some zesty limes and guavas for the house. My favorite popsicle was a close race between the zesty lime, and the chocolate fudge. The zesty lime has such vibrant and bold flavors, and each bite is super refreshing and bursting with lime. Then, the chocolate fudge is light, but also super rich and fudgey. However, my favorite part of all these popsicles, and part of why I love them so much is actually the texture. All of the fruity pops have this texture that is kind of hard to explain, but it just isn't like a normal popsicle. The texture is simple yet complex in a way that makes the popsicle even more enjoyable but still has the essence of a traditional popsicle from the store. But jeez, I can not get over the textures from the creamy popsicles like the chocolate fudge and cookies + cream. Now, that is probably the tie breaker between the fruity pops. The texture on the creamy pops is so mesmerizing, and you need to experience it to understand. But the texture is so luscious, and luxurious. It's not exactly like butter, but it sure does melt in your mouth and breaks off when you bite as if it is. But for real, the texture is my favorite part of the chocolate fudge popsicles, it's just so satisfying. I love everything about these "gourmet" pops, I even love the popsicle sticks themselves. I've never been to the actual storefront but frequent their stand at the Bellevue Farmer's Market! Man are they good! At $4 per popsicle, they are a pricey treat but it's a fruit popsicle so it's "healthier" . . . at least that's how I justify it! My kids usually ask for the strawberry popsicle which is very juicy and tasty! I got them to venture out and get a chocolate banana one day which is like a fudgsicle with actual chunks of banana in it! Delicious and creamy! Loved being able to visit this place while on vacation! The shop wasn't busy when we stopped by, so we were quick to be served. There was a bit of seating inside, with tons of open space. They have the cutest outdoor space! Lots of colorful signs, lights, picnic tables, even corn hole! They have a range of fruit flavors that are dairy free and milk-based, creamier flavors. The menu is very simple, with the flavors divided and toppings listed off to the side. My sister kept it simple with kona coffee. My dad had kona coffee dipped in dark chocolate and topped with toasted coconut - he loved this combination! My boyfriend had strawberry lemonade, a perfect summer flavor. I had chocolate banana dipped in dark chocolate and topped with sprinkles (I needed a bit of color!). I was very surprised to find real chunks of banana in my popsicle instead of flavor - it was great! If we had more time or were in town longer I would have loved to have tried more. Came here a couple months back when it was still hot outside. Although conditions were perfect for a decadent popsicle, I instead got something that was watered down and a bit bland taste-wise (strawberry banana). $4 is already pretty expensive for a popsicle, so if you're gonna get one I would recommend just shelling out for the chocolate dip because it does improve the taste. I will say that the ice cream/chocolate dip combos do taste really good, but for those of us who are lactose intolerant, there are better dessert options around town. read more

For every 10 pops I buy, I get a free one! With all of their flavors, it would not be hard to buy 10 pops but I can't bring myself to pay $4 for a popsicle that often. What a fun idea! I was in town with my kids visiting a friend. It was a perfect day for a nice walk and some ice cream. When is it not a good time for ice cream?? She's never been to this place, so we decided to check it out. It wasn't busy, which was nice. The menu is easy to read and understand how to build your pop. They had plenty of vegan and dairy flavors to choose from. There weren't any crazy options like shops in Portland, but that's not what we were there for anyway. My kids both picked some kind of chocolate flavor with the dark chocolate drizzle. I got a spicy mango pop, dipped with dark chocolate, and coated in graham cracker. It was definitely unique but a fun way to enjoy the afternoon sun. My kids played corn hole out front while they enjoyed their pops. Plenty of tables to sit out front too. Saw the stand at the Fremont Sunday Market and we just had to try it. It was a nice, warm day, and these popsicles just sounded perfect. There were some yummy-sounding flavors to choose from, and I decided on the watermelon and my brother chose the chocolate banana. They tasted really fresh and natural. My new favorite dessert place! Saw this place while eating across the street at Musashi's and decided to give it a go. The interior was clean and modern, and service was fast since we were the only ones in the store (likely due it being the middle of a particularly chilly February...). I tried the cinnamon horchata, one of their seasonal flavors, which literally tastes like ice cream in popsicle form. Yum! Yes, as other reviewers have mentioned, it's $4 a pop, but that's pretty reasonable for the quality you're getting, especially when considering that something like a Starbucks drink can easily cost just as much. I see pops! I saw Seattle Pops for the first time in Fremont, I'm thinking it was for the Fremont Sunday Market, but I'm not sure since I spend a lot of time in that hood. Before I actually saw them, I had heard about them. Dreams of strawberry basil pops danced in my head, waiting for a day when I would get to try one. The strawberry is fresh and sweet. Combined with the basil, well, they go perfectly together! Aside from at Fremont, I recently saw Seattle Pops at GeneroCity, an event held at the Living Computer Museum. That night, they only had the strawberry basil but that's okay because it's exactly what I wanted. They were handing out mini-pops (which I believe sell for about $2) and let me tell you, nothing says summer like a pop! Do yourself a favor and try one! read more

Who doesn't like ice cream! I've seen Seattle Pops' popsicle cart around the city before, but this was the first time at their store! The store is bright and roomy, and is a great environment for enjoying some ice cream and just chatting! They have lots of different flavors, and I really appreciated how they separated them into fruity, lighter flavors and creamier flavors -- for those watching what they eat ;). They also offer a lot of customization like toppings and dipped in chocolate, etc -- which is so cool! I decided to go with the guava flavor, as recommended by the employee, and I enjoyed it! It was tart and not too sweet and tasted a lot like guava! While it was a rainy day, I could totally imagine enjoying this on a really sunny day. The popsicles are $4 each, which felt kind of expensive considering some ice cream shops aren't even that expensive. The employee was also kind enough to offer switching out my flavor if I didn't like it! That was really nice since at most ice cream places you can sample the flavors, but I wasn't sure if that was really possible with a popsicle; apparently it is! Love the fun colors of Seattle Pop and their delicious casual popsicle treats! They have fruity vegan options as well as creamy pops. There are dozens of flavor options but the menu was straight forward and easy to navigate. In one weekend, I ordered horchata dipped in dark chocolate and matcha dipped in milk chocolate. I also tried my friend's mango with chili pop and coffee dipped with dark chocolate. Horchata with dark was super rich and by far my favorite. I'm also fan of the coffee and matcha because they both tasted like the deal real; I could easily swap my usual latte for popsicle form. Coming from Chicago, I've spent my fair share of hot and humid summer days making crazy popsicle combos at home, chasing down my favorite popsicle cart in chinatown and stopping in my fave shop in Pilsen. I would recommend the creamy ones more but that's my preference. They have topping choices: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and sprinkles. Yum!! I love popsicles, and especially homemade ones. They have soo many flavors, both creamy and fruity. You can get your popsicle dipped or drizzled, and add toppings on top. Generally the dip/drizzle is best for the creamy flavors, but I had the lilikoi popsicle with white chocolate drizzle and it was a pretty good combo. You can ask the staff what combinations work well. Additionally, they have a sign saying that if you're unhappy with your flavor, they'll replace it for free. I highly doubt that would happen though because they are so delicious! It's reasonable for about $5 each, and there's plenty of street parking around the area. I went on the weekend so it was more empty, so I'm sure parking is more of a hassle during busier times. I can't wait to come back to try more flavors. read more
