Kendra seems to have a one size fits all approach to makeup, and she doesn't listen. She has a heavy handed approach to application (see her instagram). She is condescending and makes little snide comments that are little biting insults. When I mentioned that my eyebrows were way too dark and overdone, her response "eyebrows are a non-negotiable"... umm, wth is that about? Anyway, upon calling other artists, it seems that Kendra has quite the reputation with her peers. They've heard my story from other folks that have attempted to work with Kendra. Recently, Kendra has announced that she is "mostly" retiring from makeup application, but beware that she is still hiring out makeup artists under her KLS business. There are numerous other capable professionals in the area, and I would highly recommend looking to them if you have any interest in natural and flattering makeup. I gave kendra the opportunity to make this right with a partial refund, which she chose to ignore.

This was a terrific investment because learning tips and tricks from the master is going to last me for years and years and not just for the one day! LiSun reviewed all my tools, skincare and makeup and looked through ingredients in my products and made appropriate recommendations to make sure that my makeup doesn't look just flawless but also camera ready! But the idea of (semi)permanently changing your face was something I daydreamed for several years before finally making the plunge. When I found Lindsey via her instagram account, it was a no brainer. Her skill, quality of work, and taste is extremely clear. So I decided it was finally the time and booked an appointment - after weeks of waiting to finally get a slot in one of her coveted bimonthly booking sessions.
