But the idea of (semi)permanently changing your face was something I daydreamed for several years before finally making the plunge. When I found Lindsey via her instagram account, it was a no brainer. Her skill, quality of work, and taste is extremely clear. So I decided it was finally the time and booked an appointment - after weeks of waiting to finally get a slot in one of her coveted bimonthly booking sessions. Again, though it felt a bit like booking a Coachella ticket, I luckily got an appointment on my first round of attempts. The fact that she can pull off this way of scheduling is legit #goals. The day of the appointment was also fabulous. Her spot is clean, fresh and lovely. The appointment started with a consult for the process of microblading - reviewing the styles of "blading," how the treatment would go, healing process, etc. We then drew on shape before she started the official process. Lindsey made the entire experience great and was a pleasure to chat with. I'm excited to go back for the final "touch up" in a month. Hugely recommended!

I now wake up every morning with beautiful brows and feel so much more confident leaving the house without filling in my eyebrows. I had literal tears shed after she worked her magic on me! For some background I naturally have sparse, blonde brows. My normal brows were uneven with different shapes. I also have keratosis pilaris on my brows which concerned me for how they would retain color & heal. I was afraid of being turned away, but from the moment I spoke with Lindsey she was extremely kind, reassuring and confident that I could walk away with gorgeous eyebrows. I had seen her work on Instagram and followed her for quite some time. I consistently loved the natural look she was able to give to her clients, so before I knew it I was in her adorable studio in West Seattle getting my own set of microbladed brows! Fast forward a few months and I couldn't be happier with my eyebrows. Lindsey is the kindest human with a beautiful gift. She's truly an artist and I'm so thankful for her. Taylor was recommended to me by a good friend. I am giving 2 stars because I know the ability and responsibility is here at this business. But, I am disappointed in my lashes I had done with Mimi on 12/13. I reread the reviews here with one customer saying that Mimi took a lot of breaks and rushed through lashes but did not take this seriously. My experience was the same even though Mimi was really sweet. One can take breaks all they want but I remember that when I went to Taylor, she took over an hour and did not take any phone breaks. That said, I want to be fair and say that this glue Mimi used caused an allergic reaction. I powered through and took Benadryl and religiously cleaned my lashes 2-3 times a day. I texted Mimi and she said to take allergy meds and put a warm tea bag on my eyes. Well, who wants to ruin a $275 lash job so I did not immediately rip them off myself. I woke up with swollen, crusty eyes which I spent money get Visine Allergy eye drops and Systane lid scrub wipes to attempt to keep the lashes. I went on travel to SoCal and dealt with taking Bendaryl, cleaning my lids, cleaning my lids, itching, and burning lids until 12/24. I desperately made an appointment at another lash place to get them professionally removed. I walked into H & K beauty in Mission Viejo and the lash tech there removed them for me meticulously and carefully. She did not charge me for this removal as she felt bad and wondered why I wasn't given instructions to remove them myself or why I wasn't invited back into to remove them when clearly there was an allergic reaction that led to severe redness. It is by luck I did not go blind or end up in urgent care. The lash tech showed me the amount of glue that ended up on my lids which essentially burned them. As of today, my lids not still flakey and dry but managable/hidden by the work Ha had to redo. The last tech there redid my lashes just to save my vanity and I can say that at at the time of this review, I still have extensions that look good weeks later. (3rd picture). I messaged Mimi and while she was sorry, she just told me her lids were also itchy too and instructed me get a prescription from my doctor. It was sweet she commiserated with me, but it's not about her eye lids and I don't want to spend more money to take care of my eyes at this point. The redo in SoCal was $315 and the last tech there carefully worked on my lashes for a solid 90 minutes no breaks and I had no glue residue from her work. Ha followed up every few days with me and said if my swelling did not go down, she would remove them free of charge. In all, this was a $600 ordeal for just extensions. In the future, I would not NOT go here but I would go back to Taylor. Sorry this was an honest review and Mimi is sweet but I don't think her abilities and patience are quite to up to par as Taylor and that's why in all these reviews, everyone is talking about Taylor.

It was my first time having this…read moreparticular area waxed and it hurt much less than other, more sensitive areas I've had waxed in the past, so A-plus for that! Also, when I went home and checked I did not have any remaining strays, which is one of my biggest pet-peeves when it comes to hair removal services. The space itself is cozy, bright, CLEAN, and beautiful. Faith, the owner and master esthetician, has the most amazing personality, which made the appointment fly by and distracted me from the hairs being pulled out of my underarms haha. She checked in with me throughout the appointment, asking me questions to make sure I was as comfortable as possible and that I was not experiencing any undue pain or irritation. On the two occasions I have been here now, I have been easily able to find 2 hour street parking on California Ave as the location of this studio is a little north of the "busy" part of the street where all those restaurants and shops are, so there's much less competition for a parking space. I booked through the online scheduling service provided, which was convenient and super easy to do. I plan to keep seeing Faith for my hair removal needs and am so excited to get a facial here in the future.

Having a baby and working the weekends it's extremely hard so I was very grateful I found a place and Sugar waxing was different for me I thought I'd give it a try. I had my appointment with Kiana, she greeted me offered me a flass of wine and we proceeded to the waxing table. I didnt feel pain at first but halfway through the session i heard Kiana say "Oh Shit", i was reslly nervous what she did to me and my left eyelid was on fire I i asked her to please take a break. Another customer showed up and she told the customer 5 min as if she was rushing. She showed me my eyebrows and saw she had yanked, pulled off a bunch of my eyebrows that werent supposed to be removed. I even asked her for an "S Shape" and later continued to tell me to come back Morgan was a specialist in eyebrows. This is so effed up when i made the appointment i specifically told them i wanted an eyebrow wax and i had a lot of work and trusted them. I am in pain still, my skin is irritated and extremely burned and ended up having a black eye of how rough Kiana was with my brow. I got asked at work if i was assaulted it was embarrassing. The owner Vanessa got back to me 3 hrs later, it seemed to me they were more worried about a negative review than the customer. Also Kiana has left unsatisfied customers. I will put captions on the pictures how it looked like throughout the day and reviews of different customer and texts i received. This was the most painful experience I've ever experienced when it comes to eyebrow removal. Next time I am just sticking with eyebrow wax. I gave it a try, it's definitely not for me and again more painful than thread, or wax. To each their own but had a terrible experience and wish them well. I do hope the owner obviously sees that many customers have been dissappinted by Kiaras service. My advice look into this place before you go there. My experience was awful and very painful and ended up with burned, damaged skin, and a black eye.
