What she did to me was damaging, and I am now under the care of two qualified specialists because I needed multiple opinions to understand what was happening to my body as a result of her treatment. When I shared my lab results and treatment history with these doctors, both were appalled. Dominique never established a proper baseline of bloodwork, misdiagnosed my condition, and inserted an excessive amount of testosterone via pellets. My hormone levels ended up significantly worse than when I started, and pellets take a long time to leave the body so the effects are not easily reversible. It has become clear to me that this practice is driven by profit rather than patient care. Being an older woman or being in menopause does not make someone a hormone specialist. I also became increasingly uncomfortable with the constant pressure to purchase additional services that I did not ask for or need such as GLB treatments and lip filler. I am thin and have naturally full lips, yet these were repeatedly pushed on me in a way that felt manipulative and undermining. HRT is serious medical treatment, especially for women in perimenopause who are often vulnerable, emotional, and looking for real help. I trusted her and believed she knew what she was doing. That was a mistake, and I am now dealing with the consequences. I rarely leave reviews like this, but I feel a responsibility to warn other women: this provider is not qualified to manage hormone therapy. Or any other cosmetic procedures for that matter.

Before booking, I reviewed Kelly's website, Yelp page, and booking requirements. I understood that she had a strict cancellation policy requiring the full appointment price, and I provided my credit card information to secure the appointment. I booked a new-client lash fill, brow wax, and brow tint. On the day of the appointment, my car repair was taking longer than expected, so I texted Kelly to give her a heads-up. She initially said she could be flexible by up to an hour, which I appreciated, while also reminding me of her cancellation policy. As we continued texting, Kelly informed me that she would need to remove all of my existing lashes, even though they were only about a week old. This was not clearly listed as a requirement on her website or booking platform. There was an optional add-on to remove lashes from another artist, but nothing stating that a full removal was mandatory. Although I was frustrated, I was willing to accept that. What ultimately changed the situation was learning that July 31 was Kelly's final day working in Seattle because she was moving to California. This was not disclosed on her website or booking platform. She told me she had announced it on Instagram, but I do not believe a new customer should be expected to search through every social-media account for such important information before booking. People who receive lash extensions are generally looking for an ongoing artist, not someone who will remove their current lashes, perform one service, charge a new-client rate, and then immediately leave the state. Had I known she was relocating, I never would have booked the appointment. I asked Kelly whether she would consider splitting the cancellation charge because this significant information had not been disclosed. She could have charged me for the lash service but waive the brow wax and tint--anything that demonstrated some accountability or willingness to meet me halfway as I understand the value of her time. She refused. I never disputed that I had agreed to her cancellation policy. My concern was that a material fact about her business--her final day in Seattle--was not disclosed during the booking process. Kelly could also clearly see that a brand-new client had booked an appointment on her final day and could have contacted me so I could make an informed decision. Unfortunately, I felt that there was no effort to acknowledge the situation, provide reasonable customer service, or take any responsibility for the lack of transparency. My experience was disappointing, and I feel like taking my money was more important to her than ensuring a prospective customer was taken care of.
