I have found myself here twice this week. The food,drinks and ambience all great. Definitely a great place to go for after work drinks. They have happy hour from 3 to 6 with a pretty good selection of drinks. Great food portions and just over all a great meal. This place is just okay but nothing special. Definitely a bit overpriced for the location and quality of food. Located in the menlo mall plaza I assumed a casual atmosphere, but inside was very upscale. For the starter we order the shiitake mushroom flatbread which was a bit overpowering for my taste even for a mushroom lover. Entrees we're the grilled chicken sandwich and the naked burger. The chicken was good but the burger came out very well done and dry. Each dish came with a side salad which was a nice extra. Sadly, the mini potatoes were my favorite item. Loved visiting this restaurant! There is a relaxing ambiance with dim lighting upon walking in and a large seating area. My meal was so delicious I got the mushroom bisque soup and the cedar plank salmon. The mushroom bisque soup was light and perfect. I must admit it, but I'm not a big fan of a chain restaurants, but Seasons 52 really gets it right and in every capacity. Not only is seasons good for happy hour and dinner and a quick bite for lunch but they have an awesome brunch that you need to look into as well. A whole lot of really cool breakfast stuff but the one thing that really makes them stand out in my mind is their flatbread of all different types of amazing flavors, there always seems to be one to fit the needs of everybody at the table, vegans alike, lol. Today my husband and I stopped in for a late lunch here and gee was I happy we did . The place is very rustic , beautiful , service was great , our waiter Matt was amazing . Very attentive and warm . Food was all delicious with and extensive menu and a beautiful open kitchen too . We had the butternut squash soup with dried mushrooms and chives , great flavor , the appetizer of stuffed mushrooms was the best I ever had . Shrimp and crab stuffed with creamed spinach , so delicious . The gojajang glazed carrots were delicious but very spicy . Our shrimp and grits with chorizo was to die for . Creamy grits with a sauce of fresh tomatoes . Shrimp was grilled perfectly cooked . Kudos to the chef in the kitchen . My experience with this venue was great from start to finish. When I met with the person who handled the booking of the private rooms, she was organized and had all of the information I needed right at her fingertips. Every place else I met with wanted to get my information to get back to me and most of them did not. Picking the menu and working out the details was very simple and the day of the event, every last member of the staff was completely on point. As the host of the event, it was a relief to have such a competent, efficient, caring team taking care of my guests. I didn't have to do anything to "manage" the event... they really handled it all quite gracefully. The food was great, the ambience was great, and I received many rave reviews from my guests. Afterwards, some friends and I hung out at the very comfortable bar there and it was a great way to close out the day. I highly recommend this place! read more

I've passed Seasons 52 so many times leaving Menlo Park Mall, and now I realize I've been missing out! Cedar plank salmon -- this is, not exaggeratedly, the most perfectly cooked salmon I've had at a restaurant in a long time. It was juicy (not raw at all), minimally yet perfectly seasoned, flaky, fell apart in the mouth. The potatoes were fork tender and absolutely delicious. And the dijon mustard sauce went so well with everything! I was more than satisfied with the portion size. I did feel like the plate overall was a bit oily though. Mini indulgence desserts -- These are like mini trifles. You will be impressed by the tower they bring out at the end of the meal to show you the options! It was a hard choice, but we had the cookies and cream, and pecan pie desserts. The pecan pie was a bit too gummy for my liking, but I loved the cookies and cream! Because of how decadent they are, the size is perfect. They came chilly like they were straight from the fridge. The atmosphere is a bit more dressy; I can see someone bringing their parents from out of town here to treat them for a nice dinner. Seasonsssss come to my heart! This place is solid, so solid it almost doesn't seem corporate. Thanks to our waitress (Natalie or Nicole? So awesome and amiable). The tuna tartare is super yummy and bigger than expected. Scallops were delectable - kinda wish they could pair it with a squash or sweet potato pure and veggie verses the risotto with string beans (doesn't merge together that fluidly) but still delicious. Not the best cooked scallops I've ever eaten - but still pretty good! Love the desert. Give the waitresses/waiters so much credit for remembering all of the shooter desserts and what they entail. Especially since they have to shine a mini flash light over them each and explain to the entire table asking a million questions who knows how many times a day. Wine is delicious. We grabbed a last drink at the bar after which is super cozy - almost as if you were in a hotel and the bartender Dmitri is super kind and respectful. Came here for a birthday lunch. Not sure if everyone just has the same birthday but we had to eat later than we originally wanted to since reservations were booked that day so maybe call early if you really want a certain time! We are normally a little shy to inform restaurants about our celebrations, but they way it was handled at Seasons 52 was more than we could ask for. They made it feel special for our party without drawing any extra attention from anyone else which we appricated. Although the space can fit a lot of tables, you feel like you are just there with your friends. The food was good and reasonable priced for the experience you get eating there. We followed a lot of our waitress' recommendations and they were all hits. I especially loved my Strawberry Basil Martini. Seasons 52 never disappoints. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. The lobster bisque was full and creamy. The sparkling wine flight hit the spot. And I can't begin to explain how good the lump crab cake sandwich was. The s'mores mini indulgence was an excellent way to end the meal. Our server was friendly and attentive but I cannot say I've sever not had a good experience with the staff. The service was on point for sure, she was very attentive and helpful, especially with my daughter having so many food allergies. The lobster bisque was delicious, as were the scallops and risotto. The pork chops with the sweet red cabbage and raisins were over the top. Oh yea the MAC & CHEESE was excellent, can't forget to mention that. The flatbread was nice and crispy throughout and was able to maintain its integrity with all of the loaded toppings. The only knock was some of our food came out cold and that spoiled the experience slightly. Else I would've easily given them 5 stars today. We had a 6:30 dinner reservation on a Tue night. Isha, who was our waitress, was extremely friendly and pleasant. The food came out pretty quickly. The corn chowder and street corn skillet were delicious! My gnocchi was flavorful and the added shrimp very good. However, the gnocchi came out tough (undercooked?), so I couldn't really eat much of it. When I mentioned this to Isha, I guess management decided to refund the cost of the gnocchi, which was totally unexpected (it did make me walk away feeling much better about not being able to eat my dinner). I took the gnocchi home and re-heated it a day or later, and it was better though still far from perfect. Also, the dinner was to celebrate my birthday, which I did put down when making the reservation, but no one brought it up, so not sure what the point of that was..... read more

A few places in the area impress me but Seasons 52 gets it right all the time. I loved when they had live music that set the mood. Not sure if they do that anymore. The service is always A1 and the food is incredible. I love the fact that they switch up the menu every few months I think so it's like you're at a new restarant all the time. Perfect place for Valentine's Day if you don't know where to go. Even if you just want to sit at the bar, it's still a very classy atmosphere. I went here for a friend's birthday and it was great! We were each given a small glass of champagne as a toast and a happy birthday sign for our friend. Afterward, our friend was given a free slice of cake of their choice along with a complimentary appetizer/flatbread on their next visit. The table ordered the chicken pesto flatbread and mushroom flatbread to share. The crust was very thin for both. I ordered the sesame-grilled salmon salad, which was pretty good. The salmon was juicy and not dry and the salad was okay, definitely recommend ordering the dressing on the side because I thought the lemongrass was overpowering. We were surprised to find quick availability here on such short notice for 5 people. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We got a few appetizers starting with the mushroom flatbread which was very well put together, fresh and had a great thin but crunchy crust to it. We also got the lobster one, this one was ok, but I didn't feel that some of the ingredients worked well together. However they gave you a lot of lobster on it. We also got the Korean bbq beef skewers which were really good. They were juicy and full of flavor. We also tried the lobster bisque, it was good but nothing too special. For dinner I had the cedar plank salmon with veggies. It was good and fresh but nothing special. My husband got the filet mignon with veggies. That was prepared perfectly & was very tender and delicious. We all got their desserts that come made in little shooters. The peanut butter and the Oreo ones were the top 2 favorite of the table. For her a glass of Rose while I went for their Peach Riesling Mule. Shortly after being seated at our table we ordered up some appetizers & finally entrees. Things are a little different these days (JMO), no sharing amongst the group. Just her & I, think you can figure out why. For her a Rose flight while we shared a small crab cake. Entrees that followed were Roasted veggie Gnocchi & a caramelized sea scallops. Another popular one at our table was the Chilean sea bass. They didn't have a dessert menu, just specials.
