Seaside Boatyard did an incredible job on my boat. I just completed a haul out and bottom paint. They also replace a damaged seacock under the galley kitchen sink. Robert, Brian and Jack the owners of the boatyard are extremely professional and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and walked and inspected the boat several times while the boat was on the hard. There prices were reasonable and fair and the workmanship was quality. They made some suggestions about additional repairs, but never made a hard sell that made us feel uncomfortable. The crew that hauled out the boat and splashed it at the end of the week were meticulous and careful at each step to ensure nothing got damaged. The facilities are clean and organize and the office staff was helpful. I felt like I was taking my boat to a high end car dealership. I will definitely be going back for any future boatyard work. I am very glad I chose to take my boat here. I understand that they are new owners for about year. I'm not sure about the previous owners and crew, but this team is the best. read more

Brian's low-ball phone estimate was less than half of the final invoice I received with no prior notice. Don't sign open ended work orders!

I cannot say enough good things about Seaside Boatyard and Marina. Rob is top shelf at the marina. He goes above and beyond to help you. He is the best! The boatyard was fantastic as well, Joe has the excellent support of Journey and Nathan to make it happen for me! It's a great team there and I am glad I am part of it! They are my GoTo read more

Seaside Boatyard & Marina - Bottom paint applied. Now time for the water - Boat Repair Near Me - Oxnard, California

This time i had a Mast unstepped and stepped. The hoist operator handled it with care following instructions given by the Rigger. I would have given five stars if the cost of keeping the Mast In the Boatyard was not as high ($35 per day). Total cost was $700 just for storage. However they did give me credit for four days since it was during the holiday season. Joe, the Manager is always very helpful and accommodating as much as possible. Quality of their work is always very high. read more

Great knowledge base and caring staff: Joe and the crew did good work on a 1973 sailboat. Many of the repairs had to be hand fabricated due to age. All works great. We've used this yard for over 20 years and will continue to do so. read more

The customer service here is exceptional. I spoke with Dave the Dock Master at Channel Islands Landing / The Boat Yard, and he went over and above to let me know to haul out availability. As well as different ways to find a good Marine surveyor and also suggested some. I would highly suggest going to them to any repair or boat needs! read more

Wonderful Boat Yard. Would highly recommend. Very clean yard and professional and friendly employees.

The Boat Yard Channel Islands did a great job squeezing me in while they were very busy. Steve who runs the Yard is there whenever needed and does a great job making you feel like one of the family. Mike who seems to do everything that Steve doesn't always with a smile and a great sense of humor. They did a great job on my boat and I'm very pleased! On a scale of 1-10, they are a 10! A great shipyard with great staff. I have used this facility a number of times and they never disappoInt. Communication on is key and they keep me updated regularly. Though they were unable to help with stainless steel fabrication they were able to advise alternatives and were very professional.

My husband and I just bought a new "to us" boat that needs some work. Pete was super helpful not only hooking us up with contacts for items we need, but also helped us with his muscles!! 5 star service all the way around. read more

Work was fine. Customer service was lacking, unfriendly and failure to return multiple phone calls

I can recommend The Boatyard at Channel Islands without reservation. Joe, Jody, Mike and everyone there are consummate professionals, have top-level ethics and are truly great to work with. I bought a 62 foot powerboat last year in Oxnard that needed extensive work, and as we got into it we discovered more issues; the usual story. Joe and Jody treated my boat as if it was their own, understood my priorities, and communicated clearly as the project progressed. They know their stuff and their work shows it; the boat launched in September and I am fully satisfied with everything they did. I've used a number of boatyards over the years in various locations, and have always had good experiences because I choose carefully. I would put The Boatyard at Channel Islands at the top of the list in all categories. Thank you for everything! read more

Had a boat surveyed and hauled out today pre-purchase , great job and reasonable price . Will definitely be back

They got my boat in on time and finished on the day I needed it back. Bottom paint looked great. See you in another 3 Years.

We bought a boat in Santa Barbara that needed some major work done be fore she was seaworthy and insurance could be bound. The yard up there was unresponsive and basically said give us a blank check(only game in town so they thought) so we said bye bye to them. We paid vessel assist to tow us down to the Boat yard Channel Islands. Joe and mike were able to accommodate us 10 days early and were able to give us some pricing over the phone. The whole team was outstanding and pleasant down at the boat yard Channel Islands. Jody and Joe took the time to explain the work they were doing and why it was necessary. I've hauled out many places in the past and this will be my go to spot from now on. I'm willing to make the trip up here from LA harbor with our boat next time we need to haul out. These guys we fair, respectful and performed top notch work. We also have the boat in guest a slip at their marina. It's clean, modern and a great place to be. Well worth the cost of the tow because We saved 10 times that by choosing the Boat yard channel island! read more

A great group of nice guys with helpful attitudes. Very attentive to your needs, and you can tell all the pros take their boats there.

Great boat yard! I was launching a boat and had some time conflicts, they were most helpful in getting the launch completed

If honesty, integrity, and pride in workmanship is what you are looking for in a shipyard, then The Boat Yard in Oxnard is the place you are looking for. I recently took our 42' Grand Banks to The Boat Yard for some work and upon arrival, I found the site to be top notch--the Yard was clean and organized, and had new travel lifts to take boats out with. I brought my Grand Banks in to have cutlass bearings replaced, blisters on the hull repaired, and new bottom paint applied. All of the work was completed in a timely manner and, most important of all, it was all done RIGHT and was a true testament to the quality and superior workmanship that they do here. In addition, working with The Boat Yard's staff was an absolute pleasure--they were all courteous, incredibly nice, and, above all else, The Yard's staffers knew their jobs and did fantastic work. Also, I cannot say enough about the Yard's manager, Joe Camello. He is a great guy who is extremely knowledgeable and very customer-oriented. It was very refreshing to be told the truth about what work the boat needed done. The whole operation, from top to bottom, is very professional. I will be returning to The Boat Yard for all out-of-water repairs and maintenance moving forward. We will be recommending the Boat Yard to all of our boating friends. read more

I recently needed to do the bottom paint on my 29' Lancer sailboat. I did some shopping around to get a competitive price, and "The Boat Yard" in Channel Islands seemed to be the best price. In fact, my slip is in the Ventura harbor - and I sailed down to Channel Islands to save the money. I was in the yard from start to finish, watching how the guys worked on my boat and others. Craig and Mike do a great job running the yard, and the guys that do the work paid attention to detail and were efficient. In the process of doing my bottom paint, I added on installing a transducer, and it turned out my motor mounts and drive shaft were tore up. The Boat Yard did a great job finding the parts and putting them in. At the end of the day, I needed a few days to finish up my personal list of "to-do's" while the boat was out of water, and the yard worked with me trying to save me a little money. Overall the yard is kept clean, the facilities are clean, and I had power and water to do the job. All in all, I'm happy I made the decision to use this yard to work on my boat - and would do it again. Great job guys! read more

I highly recommend the Boat Yard in Oxnard. I needed to have the bottom of my Electricraft 210CS boat painted and dealt with the manager, Brad, for this service. Brad was extremely helpful, kind, and accommodating; very knowledgable, reasonable and fair in all aspects of his services. What I liked best about Brad and the entire Boat Yard operation was the informative, no pressure approach as opposed to an aggressive sales approach. It was a pleasure dealing with Brad and I will return to the Boat Yard if and when the need arises. Ted, Channel Islands Harbor. read more
