I don't know who these plumbers were but they need to go back to school or give up their plumbing license. Since they replaced the toilets I have had a competent company (McLaughlin Plumbing) come in a correct the mess they made. They could not believe what a terrible job they did. I paid them (Russo) $1450.00 and so far to correct the mess they made, I've had to spend approximately $1,000.00. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They are the worse.

Contacted a bigger plumbing contractor (begins w/ "Cr") a few weeks ago because we were desperate to find anyone to come who we hadn't dealt with in the past. They came and did a service on the boiler, which of course was running fine at that time, but then proceeded to go off again 2 days later. They did come back, but at that time it was running fine again (at least they didn't charge us for that visit). So the week before this record cold it really starts cutting out, so I called Lochinvar and their service branch gave me a few local names. By chance I called Russo first and they said they could be here the day after. Woke up to house @ 52 degrees that morning. Anthony showed up and assured me he would get it fixed, and proceeded to go through with me all the possible issues before replacing the fan unit that was most likely culprit. Couldn't have asked for a more professional and knowledgeable technician. Our only regret was that we hadn't found them earlier. What an immense relief to not have to worry about losing heat on the coldest day of the year!

Electric thermostat stopped working, they identified and fixed it. 2. My gas meter froze, they identified it, got national grid involved, and saved my house from Burning down. 3. Heat didn't turn on while I was in Cayman Islands, they fixed and stopped my pipes from bursting. 4. After 10 years of owning my house and 2 new kids, they cleaned my ventilation. 5. Kids throwing toys into heating ducts? I called ECC to retrieve. 6. Roof flashing blew off in a storm. ECC to the rescue. They are always courteous, clean, reasonable and Uber professional. You will find no one better!

Once work was scheduled, they were very prompt and clean. There were a lot of guys between electricians and HVAC and they did a relatively quick job. I only had 1 weird thing happen. After install, they let me know that they needed to set the thermostat to have the back up heat come on at 35 degrees but after the Massave inspection they would come back and turn it down. I was dragging my feet on the Massave paperwork a bit until I got my first electric bill for $800! I contacted Massave to get them out for the inspection, but they told me they don't do an inspection and also don't recommend the setting the technicians told me were necessary and contributed to my huge bill. I informed Essex County Craftsman and they told me they would get back to me. I never heard back so I figured out how to do it myself. Still not sure if I chose the appropriate temperatures for my system but I just can't have another bill that high. It sounds like the communication between Massave and authorized technicians is not great and I hope this improves.

However, as I went through the claim process with my insurer and reached out to other HVAC companies, I was given much better and cheaper proposals. Aside from that, I asked Kearney to repair everything electrical related to the fire. However, as they were finishing up the job they said they didn't have the parts they needed to do the last component, and asked if they could do it later when the HVAC replaced. Ultimately I didn't have them do the HVAC, but asked them to come back to fix the last remaining part of the electrical (which was actually the component that caused the fire and was a safety hazard). At that point, they told me I'd have to get a new quote and pay in-full for that visit separately. When I originally asked them for a quote/repair on everything electrical related to the fire, I thought they would at least repair the thing that caused the fire. But, because I was accommodating and agreed to let him come back later, I'm getting charged again. Partially, this is on me for being too trusting, but it's also on them for bad faith business practices.

EXTREMELY conscientious, not to mention knowledgeable - they are an old fashioned family oriented company who will take care of the cutomer not looking to just make a buck or screw the customer over. I recently sold the residence and the inspector noted several supposed issues - all VERY minor but Glen came down and replaced several small valves or whatever and gave me a nice write up to provide to new owners who I suggested to Continue using Fox Hill's services. During my time with Fox Hill I only had one emergency call - it was a Sunday in April so when Keith returned my call he agreed to come the next day to save me the extra for a Sunday call - again it was April so kind of mild, but I had no hot water, not a huge deal. I'd recommend these guys all day long and I am not one to usually do that.

i usually like to call for 2-3 quotes but only did 1 with with Renato and he seem like a fair…read morestraight shooter with reasonable prices so i just went with him. got my water heater replaced, he prompted me that my pipes have not been in compliant since i bought my condo, also recommended to install automatic shut off valve. all the recommendations makes sense so i went with him. he was out the next day and finished job same day. no issues so far so would recommend him if you are looking for a good plumber who knows what he's doing. i got my property inspected as a new unit and the house inspector did not make any comment on the proper pipe that should be installed on a water heater.
