My move was scheduled for a 1-3pm arrival window, but the movers ultimately did not arrive until around 6:40pm. I understand that afternoon moves can run late due to earlier jobs taking longer than expected, but I was disappointed that I had to repeatedly reach out myself throughout the afternoon and evening to get updated ETAs. The arrival time kept shifting later, which made the day fairly stressful and difficult to plan around. The delay also effectively consumed the entire day waiting for updates. If I had known earlier in the day that the move would be pushed so late into the evening, I would have adjusted my plans significantly and started moving some smaller items myself rather than spending the day waiting for revised ETAs. Once the movers arrived, the actual move itself went smoothly. They were professional, handled my belongings carefully, and everything arrived safely without damage. Communication during the move was somewhat limited because they spoke very little English, but we were able to manage using Google Translate. The move took about 4 hours total, finishing around 11pm, which was much later than I expected for a relatively short move with one flight of stairs at each location and about a 10-minute drive between apartments. Most of my items were already packed and ready to go. Because the move ran so late into the evening, I was also concerned that the noise from the moving carts and truck would disturb my new neighbors. The company did provide a discounted hourly rate because of the delay, which I appreciated, although the discount felt fairly limited given the length of the delay and the lack of proactive communication throughout the day. Overall, I think the movers themselves did a good job, but the significant delay and communication issues made the experience more frustrating than expected.

Communication was excellent and the pricing while on the higher end was clear and transparent. I was extremely happy with how sparkly the bathrooms were and how well the shower door tracks were cleaned. I also appreciate the close attention to smudges on the walls and staining on an old sink in the laundry room. The overall work was good but if I had to nitpick they could've done a more thorough job on the harder to see areas such as the kitchen baseboards and the window tracks (closed position) and the dusting of the blinds. Upon giving feedback, the impressively hands-on owner, offered to send a cleaning professional over to rectify the overlooked areas and offered his sincere apologies. Sadly, in the rush of moving out didn't get photos of what they did well. Would still hire them again but would just pay closer attention to the completed job. I will admit it's reassuring to know they are quick to remedy the situation.
