When I arrived in my new location, I had a different mover ready to unload the truck. What they found was astounding: The movers had paid no mind to how they stacked our boxes, crushing multiple bins and seeing boxes cave-in on themselves. These photos came from the other movers as they thought their counterparts did it, and were (in their words) "embarrassed." On top of this absolute disregard for boxes, 11 pieces of furniture suffered damage. Their label was "cosmetic damage," because nothing broke ... it's just visually damaged (deep gashes in wood, leather scraped off real-leather chairs). The care extended to a couch where they removed the peg legs and through them loose into the trailer (we had to find them over the course of the move). I documented everything, shared photos, etc. Their offer: $100 check due to cosmetic damage. And after a fairly pointed email about the negligence of how they packed the trailer, they just stopped responding. Now, here's the onus on me: I only did base protection. I trusted their reputation and after seven cross-country moves, felt confident we'd be okay. Shame on me, and that'll never be a mistake I make again. I don't expect anything to come of this for me. And that's fine. But hopefully at least one other person will be saved the frustration and expense.

Simple Move arrived at my friends place and I could tell these people have really good customer service! They were smiling, carrying our things because I gave my friends my belongings to take up. Some of the stuff included a vase, many video games and clothes. He took it up and made sure it is placed in the truck well. This took only a couple of hours which was very efficient! After arriving to Washington with my friends, Simple Move got there on time. I was very happy! I just wanted to get everything done and help my friend settle in! I'm honestly one of those people that is over critical with my belongings and they cannot be bad or I will freak out! Luckily they took care of everything for us and that my belongings came in one piece and not pieces. Uncertain of what to do, I used Thumbtack to identify reasonable businesses in the area (also, my first time using Thumbtack, which was extremely easy and helpful!). We Move was one of the first to reach out to me with estimates and with the most reasonable rates for my local move. (Details: 450 sq. ft. one-bedroom condo; couch; three bookshelves; and other miscellany items: 2 movers; 1 truck; 3-hr min. $100/hr if in cash; $115/hr if by card). Throughout the process, their customer service was professional and impeccable. Roman contacted me regularly to confirm my location and move date. Another representative (unfortunately, I did not catch her name), contacted me by telephone to schedule the move. On the day of my move, We Move contacted me early in the day through one of the movers, Aivar, who informed me that they would be able to arrive early if I was available. I was, and they arrived within 20 minutes. Aivar and Victor, two movers with We Move, arrived with the truck. They were extremely courteous and professional. Moreover, they were unbelievably efficient! I even asked if they would be willing to make a stop at the Goodwill to make a donation, and they agreed without hesitation. In summary: We Move provides excellent customer service and performs excellent work. They moved a 500 dollar pair of Bose headphones (that are not even finished being paid off) to the cab of their moving truck and decided to keep them. We have contacted them three separate times to return them and have ignored us. I am a very disabled retiree with neuropathy, as well as lots of problems and these movers were the only ones I could afford at the time. I'm warning you not to hire them or else you'll have to deal with filing stolen property reports for whatever high value electronics they decide to steal. These movers work extremely fast and are opportunistic thieves! If for whatever reason you do decide to hire them, keep serial numbers of all your high value electronics to easier report them stolen and make it harder for them to pawn and sell, set up security cameras to watch their moving truck so you can show it to the police after, and expect no communication from them after they have stolen your property; but it is recommend to just hire another company instead of this company that prey on disabled retirees.

We move every few years and tend to use the same local moving company every time. Because our…read moreusual company charges for travel to the source and from the destination we thought it would be more cost effective to use Seattle Small Moves because they don't apply these fees. It turns out that they couldn't handle a 850 sq foot townhome move. They were extremely slow moving us and ended up leaving a significant amount of our stuff at our old home. Their truck wasn't tall enough for the items we told them about in our quote. I pointed out several expensive items we cared about and they seemed to ignore my concerns. Our expensive grill, washer and dryer, and Dutch ovens are damaged. They packed a bottle of olive oil with a spigot on its side and it spilled everywhere! The way they packed doesn't make any sense and is causing us to spend way more time sorting through what they did. They left our doors off hinges and left us in a bad state in our new place. In our last move, our usual company moved everything flawlessly and very quickly. They had to deal with a 4 story townhome with narrow halls and doors but they handled it with same crew size for half the price! The workers were friendly, but the overall operation was very disorganized and unprofessional. This crew also didn't seem to have their own water jug... I would not recommend this moving company. We deeply regret not using our usual company.
