The project manager, Sergiy, and foreman, Bogdan, were very honest, helpful, and responsive every step of the way. The project was completed pretty much on budget (with only a couple of unforeseen issues outside of their control) and on time. Corneliu fixed everything the RIGHT WAY at a very fair price and worked as late as 7:30pm, long after the sun had gone down, to ensure everything was done before the next storm rolled in. We wanted a door installed in the interior of our home. Cornel arrived, measured the space, explained the different styles, asking what we'd like. Then he went to the hardware store himself, took photos of all of the options that fit our criteria, and texted us the options so we could choose, saving me time from having to go to the store myself. He also went above and beyond by offering to fix the opposite side of the door frame, which was ugly before the project started. We didn't even think it was an option to fix that. Cornel installed the door, painted it, and fixed the trim on both sides, on the same day. The final result is absolutely perfect. It's beautiful, and the quality is stellar. We will certainly be using Smart Construction again in the future for home projects that we can't do ourselves.

Frank was hired to reframe part of my roof due to a large leak and replace a window. He placed…read morelarge plastic sheets over the interior and exterior areas so I could not see the area when they had remove the roof or window. He had placed 2x4 over layers of rotted wood. The roof area replaced had 5" of standing water (there was no slope). Nine months later we had our house re-sided and this the terrible workmanship we uncovered. The area around the entire window and roof was completely rotted and he did not say anything nor did he repair it. The photos say it all. Notice the large beam under the coping that was placed on rotted wood. Frank is unethical and his gross negligence surrounding this project is astounding.
