Beer

Soju cocktail was great! The beers were excellent and Andrew was a great bartender/server for a 1 man crew. Would definitely recommend as a chill bar to grab a beer and relax.

Stopped by this gem on our Pacifica date to take refuge from the windy weather. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated immediately. We ordered the smokehouse burger and BBQ ribs plate. When I say this was the most tender mouth-watering burger and rack of ribs we've ever had..... WOW!!! You have to stop by to experience it for yourself. The ribs plate comes with a side of refreshing garden salad and potato salad which paired nicely with the smokiness of the meats. Definitely recommending to our friends to stop by!

pizza came out hot & fresh beers on tap, dont come here if your picky my type of bar, come in drink , & eat enjoy your time Service Is Amazing ! And Fast Service too

It's so great when you find a place that just fits. That's Seahorse. Thank you to previous Yelp reviewers who hit the nail on the head with the quality of service & interaction, as well as the homemade meats. We stopped in today, Friday 3/25/22, at 4:45 when there was just one other person at the bar. Immediately we were welcomed in and told the beer gal would get us a beer. Funny thing is...the beer gal is NOT a beer drinker. I find that hilarious...and endearing. So we started our journey to find me a beer that approximated a stout. Don't get me wrong...they had stouts in cans in the fridge...so they were there...but on tap they only had their Devil's Canyon Scotch Ale, which isn't a stout, but is an excellent stand-in. In the end, I went with the Scotch Ale, because beer gal had me try it and it was good. Meanwhile, the next customer who came in was also a woman who WANTED A STOUT! I'm not saying women don't often drink stouts...but come on...women don't often drink stouts. So right there I thought "I've found my people!" More locals came through...including Sanjay who was a lovely guy who has turned to art and was showing his latest artwork on greeting cards...then his son who was a lovely 17-year-old tornado of a being...a guy with a husky named Rogan....a woman who brought in Japanese cheesecakes to share - one plain, one strawberry - and another barkeep who really looked like beer gal's sister but was absolutely no relation to her. We ended up bottle sharing a beer that Sanjay had brought at some point and was in their fridge, and we pulled in a beer that we had just procured from our friend who is a nano-brewer and shared that with Sanjay, beer gal, Scott (the owner) and the girl who brought the cheesecake whose name I never got. Then....and this was the icing on the cake....the house-smoked food was ready. I had the salmon and hubby had the tri-tip. Oh. My. Yum. I'm telling you...that salmon was perfection. All this in a place we had never been, in a town we hadn't been to in forever, with absolute strangers. What a magical time...we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you, Seahorse, for just being you - you're doing it right and we will absolutely be back!

Smoked beer special- fantastic!

Outstanding beer selection and food! Was here today for the smoked beer event and it was fantastic! Excellent selection of smoked beers and on-site smoked food was on point! Delicious sausage and outstanding House seasoned smoked pork chop! Need to come back for the ribs! Would have ordered but have to eat later at family house and can't feign hunger well anymore lol. . In any event gives us a reason to hurry back soon! Love this place and super friendly personable owner and welcoming cozy space indoors ( fireplace and couches) and outdoors as well( brought the puppers)!

I gotta admit... I was reluctant coming to a place that's been open for a year with only 8 reviews. My first thought.. are they even open and did they survive COVID? Fortunately the answer is YES! I decided to go because I love smoked meats and it seems like a small mom and pop type joint run by a guy who's just passionate about food. This place was such a pleasant surprise. They have a decent selection of alcohol... beer, wine, mixed drinks for a very affordable price. They don't have any of their own brews for now but will be doing seltzers after the pandemic is over - cannot wait to come back and try their seltzer's. The food- I tried their smoked beef ribs and German sausage. Holy... their beef ribs were so tender and the rub and brown sugar touch at the end made it so flavorful. The German sausage was filled with cheese and who doesn't love cheese? I so wish that I lived closer to Pacifica and could become a regular here. I want to try all of his new food creations and everything he offers - seems like he's constantly experimenting with new food. Atmosphere- There is outdoor seating in the back patio, it feels like you're at your friends house eating on their backyard. They have a cute fireplace indoors and some TVs, probably a great place to watch some football on a Sunday while enjoying beers and smoked meats. Price- again. SO AFFORDABLE. Just look at the prices and you'll agree. A mojito was like $6, beer $6ish, ribs maybe $15-$18, sausage was $6. Overall I spent $36 on a beer, mojito, German sausage, and home smoked beef ribs. What?! I cannot rave enough about this place. The owner was also so friendly and it made me sad that Covid was taking away from his business. Please everyone come and support so that I can continue to enjoy Seahorse every time I'm here!

This place had no obvious sign to let people know where it is, but it had a comfortable vibe. I really liked drinking a few beers there.

Great local brewery, locally owned with affordable food and beer. Where else can you get a solid snack for under $10?

Is the brewery still in business? We went there Friday, October 3, 2025 at around 6:30 PM for the first time and the place was closed. Yelp claims the hours are from 5:00-11:00 PM Friday and says it was last updated a month ago.

Hi Josh. Sorry just saw this. Each year we close for one to two weeks in October. This year it was just a few days. The best information is on our instagram. Cant always trust Yelp. In fact, we didnt even create this yelp account, someone else… Read more

Is seahorse brewery still open? Every time I drive by it appears closed with no cars in the parking lot. I would love to check it out.

We didnt open for Mothers Day. However, we are generally open Wednesday through Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 Pm. If I cant make it in I generally try to put it on the Instagram but I have been open pretty much every day. Also,… Read more

Is Seahorse Brewing Company kid friendly?

Definitely not

Been meaning to stop here while on my bicycle ride for food. Are there bicycle racks to secure to?

Place is closed. Wasn't good at all. I had a spoiled Czech Budweiser. Good riddance

It's going to be the end of a 30 year era…read more Came back again to try their crab sandwich and I can't express how much I'm hoing to miss their crab sandwich on sourdough. I thoroughly believe their crab sandwich is better than Fisherman's Wharf and better than New England Lobster company in Burlingame. And cheaper too. They're closing soon, as in shutting their doors, so run here to try their crab sandwich before they do. They only have a certain number a day, not sure how many, but people have been buying them so they keep running out. It's real crab folks. Not fillers. Not junk. It's amazing and good with their salad. Gosh, just thinking about their crab sandwich is reminding me to grab a couple more while I can.

It is with sadness that I write this update…read more My visit there this past weekend was without a doubt the most depressing restaurant experience of all my many years of dining out. It's always been a dated space, but it has crossed over into musty and dirty. It didn't help that the place was also deserted. I felt like I was in a movie scene where the protagonist wanders into a deserted roadside cafe to order coffee and a sandwich from a rough-talking waitress and the only sound in the otherwise empty restaurant is the incessant droning of a ballgame from the ancient TV (hmm...that's kind of almost exactly what happened). This was mid-day on a Sunday when it used to be a hopping time for them. Granted, it was between Christmas and New Year's, but I suspect another part of it is that they no longer serve breakfast. Their breakfasts were hearty and delicious and a big weekend draw; sadly, the breakfast chef (I think he may have been one of the owners or the father of the current owner) passed away two years ago and breakfast was taken off the menu. I gave two stars because my sandwich and fries were still good, but I highly doubt I'll be back, ever. There doesn't seem to be any effort at all to create an inviting or even clean atmosphere. I remember being surrounded by other diners and hearing the happy chatter of families celebrating birthdays. Is it different at dinnertime? Possibly, but I just can't see how.

We had heard such great things about Hula Hoops and were excited to come for Mother's Day brunch. When we arrived Sunday morning, we were seated right away, which was great. However, our party of six was seated with only three food menus and five drink menus. I asked our waitress if we could get additional menus for the rest of the table, and she explained they had run out and were waiting for other guests to finish with theirs. We ended up asking if there was a QR code version we could scan, and she brought one over. I was mostly confused why the QR code wasn't offered immediately, knowing half the table didn't have menus to begin with. It just made the start of the experience feel a little disorganized. That said, there were definitely some positives. The sparkling cider for Mother's Day brunch was a really nice touch, and the Shanghai lumpia was fantastic. I ordered the two-protein silog breakfast with eggs, and while the flavors were good, the single scoop of rice just didn't feel proportionate to the rest of the plate. Any Filipino knows you need a little more rice to balance everything out, so I ended up not finishing my meal because it felt off portion-wise. My son ordered the cheese omelet and said it wasn't his favorite, especially the potatoes. The ube waffles were really yummy though, and my husband enjoyed the sisig tater tots. Overall, I'm glad we finally got to try Hula Hoops after hearing so many good things, but unfortunately it didn't quite live up to the hype for us, and I don't think we'd return.
