We went here as Omicron was on the rise and no one was in the joint. We sat by a beautiful fireplace on a sofa that needs to be replaced. The owner/chef was very helpful. We had a smoked meat combo and two beers on tap. The meats were incredible, but they had no pretzels and run out of a number of other appetizers. We had arrived just an hour after the shop opened. There was rice and mac salad that came with the meat and they were just okay. The women's bathroom also needs some TLC since one toilet was clogged and the other stall door would not close. We're not sure we would go again but might just get take out for the meat, which was super smokey. read more

We live up the street from here. We saw the great reviews and decided to take a chance. We were very pleasantly surprised. Scott recommended the Golden State cider very good choice. We visited this restaurant because of the fairly good Yelp reviews, but wow, what a disappointment. The owner (Scott I think?) was the most pompous and arrogant restaurant owner/employee I've ever seen. We ordered the bbq meat platter to share, since we'd eaten just a few hours before. Scott had the nerve to come to us to suggest a fast food restaurant if we wanted to share plates. I think he was trying to get us to order separate entrees? He gave off the complete greasy used car salesman vibe. Even though he was rude as can be, we really came for the food, which turned out to be as dry as can be. It reminded me of the old Dickey's BBQ chain, just premade junk. Highly disappointing. Stay away from this place, it seems the owner is interested in nothing other than taking other peoples' money. read more

Hi Scott -- funny how you said I was "asked to leave for my attitude" when I never exchanged words with anyone to begin with. My sister and I went to Pacifica on a Thursday, July 29th to be exact. We were looking for a cool spot to grab a few beers but this place looked nothing like it did on yelp. We were greeted by the bartender but she went into the back. There was two other people sitting at the bar. No one had drinks. A few minutes later she never came out so we left. Just came here for the first time this past weekend. I saw on their Instagram that they had smoked beef ribs so I had to come and try. Luckily for me he still had some when I came for dinner on a Friday night. We were welcomed warmly when we came and he guided us to some patio seating out back. There was nice lighting and also heaters which kept us warm and toasty. The prices were so affordable for both the food and drinks. The beef ribs were AMAZING!! It even came with rice and some salad. I have started smoking my own meats recently and the owner was kind enough to share some tips and tricks with me which I really appreciated. I will definitely come back in the future for another order of the beef ribs and to try the other items on his menu. read more

Came here during fog fest to get away from the crowd for a little bit. We ended up getting the smoked burgers and they were bomb!! Maybe it was the alcohol that was contributing but either way I would recommend the burger if you come here for drinks. Nice little seating area in the back as well. I was there ~3 months ago with a friend. Have to say, what Tony M. wrote in his review 8 days ago was exactly our experience. Customer service is not reliable, although the woman was nice enough. Our beers were room temp. Food was horrible. The pizza was such a joke of an excuse, and the chef had the gall to try and say that the owner of Toto's Pizza (which is spectacular), comes to their establishment to dine. He himself admit that he'd never been to Toto's. I was reluctant to write a bad review, but after seeing our experience mirrored 3 months later, I came to confirm that this place is terrible on multiple fronts and I'm not even sure it's an actual brewery, since they only offered warm beers that you can find in a grocery/liquor store. read more

I drove past it at first because the building looks vacant. It's not a brewery. It's an aspiring taproom, but currently serves beer, wine and food. Apparently I missed out on the best part, which seems to be the food. The beer selection was not very exciting. Just a couple of IPAs, but there was a wide selection of beer styles. The staff is great. I wanted to like this place more, but they are still trying to get their feet under themselves. For this type of bar, Winters is better. I will be back to review again. read more

I went for my 2nd time last night and have been very pleased with this business both times. The owner is incredibly friendly and happy to serve. The 1st time I went I brought my 2 year old and infant. The 2 year old was entertained with the pac man table. There are couches next to the fireplace that are comfortable for sitting and chatting - also a good place for the toddler to sit with me away from the bar area. Last night I met some friends and only had the infant with me - once again great service - great selection of beers and he even brought out some pretzel snacks and sausages for us . I am excited to have a place with this feeling in Pacifica - relaxing, easy to visit with friends and can still have my babies with me. I picked this place on a whim for a date and boy am I glad I did! The vibes are absolutely amazing and it's one of the coziest places I've ever been to. The staff are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet and we're so accommodating. We sat outside on the patio which is really cute but inside they had a fireplace and vinyl playing oldies music. We only had drinks (which were delicious and super cheap) but I'll definitely be coming back to try the pizzas and meats. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! read more

There's heat lamps and a fire pit :) Their pizza and German sausage really hit the spot and they had a nice selection of beers (and I believe wines and other drinks, too, but wasn't paying as much attention to those). My family has been waiting for this spot to open and it did! My husband, son and I grabbed some food, sodas and wine and relaxed next to the warm fireplace enjoying football. Went in on Sunday w/o the hubby and had some nice convo (physically distanced of course) with a couple of ladies out on the patio who had hiked over the hill all the way from south city! Scott was so hospitable and his food is amazing! I had the bbq chicken pizza and he also gave me a small sample of the smoked beef to go he had been cooking while I was there! I forget the name of the sour beer I was drinking but delicious. I also had a soju cocktail he had made with pineapple and fresh mint. Yum! I'm looking forward to my next visit! read more

I love Seahorse Brewery! The ambiance is warm and friendly, the food is delicious and the owners are incredibly nice. I recommend a mojito and rib dinner! The couple that owns the restaurant cooks all the food homemade themselves and makes a point to make you feel welcomed. I'll be back next time I'm in Pacifica. read more

If I could I would give this establishment a zero. Went to go have a beer here today at 1pm and the place was closed. The sign on the door states they open at noon. See attached photo. I wasn't sure if the place was closed or not due to the pandemic. I told my husband let's walk around then we can come back. We went into a couple local shops and came back around 1:30 and still the place was closed. At this point I'm thinking maybe they are permanently closed?? So we walked around some more and had a drink elsewhere. We got back around 2:45 to then again see if they were open. I was in a state of shock when I see my car being towed out of the lot!!!! What's happening I told myself?? I confronted the owner and he told me "didn't I look at the no parking signs" and also told me that "people were turning away because the lot was full." It's true he does have tow signs but I was fully going to be a patron at his establishment. Not to mention his false advertisement of hours and the lie of a full parking lot.
