We enjoyed the lobster roll and fish & chips. So delicious! The beers we got were great too - a blueberry beer and the 1776 IPA. Both were delicious. Service was fine - you order at the counter and pickup at another counter - nothing fancy. They offer outdoor seating only which was wonderful as the day was gorgeous. Oh and the fries. These were amazing. And you get a ton of 'em. So good. Give this place a try - you'll want to go back.

The fries were solid, but the fish itself was just okay, and the tartar sauce didn't hit the mark for me. Service was fine, though the front‑of‑house experience was odd. The greeter looked completely disengaged--wrapped in a blanket and appearing ready for a nap. By the time we left, she actually was napping. There's a lot of hype around this place, so I came in expecting something memorable. Unfortunately, the visit didn't live up to the reputation. Been there done that.

We were cheerfully greeted at the door and promptly taken to a table for our meal. The kids menu did not disappoint, with high quality pasta presented elegantly in a curved bowl. Salads and sandwiches, including one lobster roll, also met expectations. The chowder was rated 10/10, on account of light broth combined with hearty pieces of seafood. The one area for improvement was the unfortunate failure to distinguish between brands of cola when ordering. Despite asking for Coke, we were brought Pepsi without the requisite warning. Would return!

The Arnold Palmer was basically a raspberry lemonade with barely a hint of tea. We had appetizers - she was able to sub scallops for the shrimp(due to our allergies). We had the seafood medley and 2 mini tourtierres. The seafood was good, the smoked salmon was dyed a purple color. The scallops were good, cooked a tad bit too long, but still tasty. The beef tarts were dry and the pastry tough. While our server was enjoyable and pleasant, the appetizers were not the best, and for the price, we won't be back. Head down to the Italian restaurant (Vicinato) - you won't be disappointed!

We received a $25 voucher when we checked in to the lovely hotel. Gorgeous views and a nice outdoor balcony. Very tall ceilings made it very comfortable. Friendly service and good with allergies. It got quite busy with many tables arriving about 10 minutes after we did which meant that service got slower toward the end of our meal, but not unreasonably so. Kid's menu was extensive. My kid was really happy about the fudgesicle dessert option. Nice that she could have a side of raw carrots instead of fries she did not want - although we ended up eating the carrots. We also had: Fresh baguette with butter Fresh pasta special which was lobster tagliatelle in a butter-wine sauce with tons of fresh herbs and lobster distributed throughout. Delicious! Brined chicken was also yummy with a special shoutout for the mashed potatoes. Wild Blueberry cobbler (ordered without the ice cream), made in house and served warm. Unfortunately they put the ice cream on it, but they realized and offered to make another fresh, which I declined because it took 10 minutes to make. It had a nice lemony hint to it. Coffee was good, nicely served with plenty of milk and cream for choice. Overall, quality local ingredients shone through the meal.

All 4 meals were mediocre at best and for the price point you expect more. I had Surf and Turf the steak was bland and Luke warm as were the potatoes and veg. The lobster was hot so I'm guessing there was a timing issue in the kitchen. I would not recommend this restaurant the only problem is that the resort is so isolated you have few choices. Better to go to the coop down the street buy a few steaks and BBQ them yourself you'll save $200 and have a great meal. On another note the service staff were very good, if we weren't already starving with no where else to go we would have sent 3 of 4 meals back.

From your seat at the bar, the view out the window stretches across St. Peter's Bay. Julio's passion for oysters is contagious. What starts as a casual tasting quickly becomes a crash course in oyster appreciation you didn't know you needed. We had a flight of oysters from different parts of the island, each with its own personality--some sharp and briny, others sweet and creamy. Julio explained how the water temperature, time of harvest and even the currents in each bay create these differences. It's the kind of knowledge that changes how you taste everything that follows. Lemon, horseradish, and hot sauce are available though (gently) discouraged --and for good reason. Once you've tried a fresh oyster, you understand that nothing else is necessary. The oysters themselves were outstanding--harvested and served within hours, as fresh as anything you'll find in PEI. But what makes Julio's stand out isn't just the freshness; it's the education that comes with it. You leave not only having eaten incredible oysters, but also knowing why they tasted the way they did. Friendly, informative, and genuinely passionate--Julio's Oyster Express is more than a great meal. It's one of those rare experiences that leaves you with both a satisfied stomach and a better understanding of what's on your plate.
