It was a bit tight - lots of tables - but when it was full of diners, it did not get too noisy and we were able to carry on conversing. The lobster dip had a decadent creaminess, with a hint of sweetness that was melt in your mouth good. I had the seafood bubbly bake, hot and delicious. The Caesar salad was also delicious- so large I brought most of it home for tomorrow's lunch. My family had the halibut(medium) it was the best halibut we have had here on PEI. They also had the pork loin, and while it was delicious, the mashed potatoes were to die for. We had the blueberry tart and chocolate stout cheesecake for dessert. We also had the bearded skipper NA drink and the range light NA drink, both very good. Best meal we have had on the island so far- service, ambiance and the food all were above and beyond. They don't take reservations, so go early to get seated and not put on a wait list (4 ish). Enjoy!

After waiting an excruciating two hours, we were informed that our reservation had been "mishandled" and it could be *another hour* before we'd be seated. For a party with an elderly lady and restless kids, this was beyond unacceptable. The waiting area? A beer garden - that's it, no other purchase options but booze. Want a coffee? Despite a coffee shop in the foyer, they won't make one. How about a soda/pop- nope too bad that's inside and that's a waitlist. Mocktails? Nope too bad just booze for sale here. One of the best restaurants and a local favorite among many in PEI. The restaurant offers amazing ocean and views of the grand dunes, its situated on the door step of one of the best beaches in PEI which is kid and dog freindly! This place has a great ambiance offering 2 outdoors patios and a beer garden, it also offers live music pop ups and has weekly specials. There are so many amazing seafood items on the menu, I reccommend the FiN Sampler which includes fish taco, lobster roll and 1 piece fish'n'chips. read more
