Amazing screened-in patio complete with blankets to keep you warm! Friendly service. Fish and chips were crispy and delicious. Lobster roll was "lobster-riffic" according to my husband. Great late lunch!

This is our bill that shows the up charge for warm butter, which should've come for free on our warm lobster roll.

We ordered two buttered lobster rolls that came without butter. You would think they would come with butter since they're called buttered lobster rolls, but we were charged four dollars extra for warm butter. That was not the only irritating thing about the restaurant that gave us warning. The lobster rolls come with french fries which by the way are excellent and highly recommended. However, the lobster roll is just OK. I ordered an up charge of onion rings that turned out to be frozen Ore-Ida brand, onion rings and not worthy of an up charge of five bucks. The onion rings were greasy, not good poor quality and so I asked them to be removed from the bill and did not eat them. I guess that may have upset the restaurant manager because when our lobster rolls came and there was no butter on them, we ask for warm butter they brought it however they charged us an up charge of four dollars for the warm. If you're traveling in the area, skip this place other than the view it's really not worth the stop in because the food is just OK and the people are just not friendly so head on to the next place it's got to be better than this place.

We stopped here after a kayaking tour and the food was great! I think this place had the better lobster roll of the places we visited in PEI. Great view of the water while eating too.

The best lobster roll during my vacation to NB and PEI. It's a MUST. Creamy and warm and perfectly nestled in its bun. Grab it to go if you can't eat inside but TRY THIS LOBSTER ROLL. It was the most fresh out of all the lobster rolls I had that week.

Good and service was great. We just finished our Island section walk for the day and headed straight for here. We both had lobster rolls, ceasar salad, and fries. We thought it was great, and the portion sizes were healthy.

fish was cooked perfect. Crispy not greasy the hot sauce could been bit hotter for my liking but my wife would liked it as it was . Lettuce fresh and crunchy . Potato salad reminded me of my grand mother's recipe . My son had burger and fries and couldn't finish them the portion was so big . My wife had there lobster roll which I didn't get picture of but the size of it was huge is all I can say . Was very tasty till late bite

The lobster roll and clam chowder were both very good.

This local eatery in Victoria-by-the-sea has good food and a laid-back atmosphere. I was surprised to find it still quite busy, even during the off-season. I suppose that's a good sign - the locals like it enough to keep coming, even when the tourists are gone. Some of the patrons can be a bit rough around the edges (for reference, the staff all had shirts that read "Sex, Drugs, and Lobster Rolls"), but overall it's not too rowdy. I've only had a few lobster rolls in my life - so I'm hardly a connoisseur - but the one I had here was my favorite so far. Lots of meat and not too much mayonnaise. The clam chowder was also quite good. Overall the meal was nice. If you're looking for good eats in PEI during the off-season when most everywhere else is a ghost town, check out Victoria.

Delightful place with friendly staff. I had the berry salad with lobster and thought it was delicious.

This fixture of Blue Acres has been around for longer than I've been present on this plane of…read moreexistence, so it's with deep shame that I admit that it was only this spring that I tried it for the first time. While looking for a quick lunch on a sunny Saturday, I was right behind a few other people who just got their food as I was ordering, putting me at the front of the queue. Owner and sole staff member Donna guided me through the highlights of her menu and I settled on the hamburger platter. Several minutes of wonderfully pleasant chit chat with Donna followed while I watched her prepare my food like a well-oiled machine. My food was soon ready, coming tightly packed on a heaped paper plate for me to eat in my car, although you can get it secured for a trip home or elsewhere. The crinkle cut fries, while unsurprisingly from a bag, were spot on, with shatteringly crisp exteriors and light, fluffy interiors. The burger was diner-style par excellence - steamed bun; a beefy, hand-made, griddle-cooked patty; melty cheese; sauteed onions, and some bite from mustard and relish. I should have nixed the ketchup to dial back the sweetness, but this was still a great little burger. A cup of house-made coleslaw was of the creamy variety, but still had a bit of tang to it, which helped cut through the rich meal a little bit. On my return visit, I went with the fish and chips. While it's a box that a lot of restaurants feel they have to check, and they do so poorly with from-frozen, pre-battered fish, I heard that Donna batters it in-house, so I was looking forward to trying it. This was a very good order of F&C. The batter was light and airy, and the two-piece was a good amount of food, with the pieces like the half filets that you'll see around, rather than the one gargantuan piece of fish that pubs often have for shock value. The fish was firm, but tender and flakey and I don't know if tartar sauce was forgotten or isn't offered, but I truly just enjoyed the fish on its own. Ceilidh Drive-In is among a dying breed of old school greasy spoons that do the simple stuff well, and while it took me a while to get there, it won't be long before I'm back.
