Everything I tried on the buffet was very good. The fish was not overcooked, the veggies had the right amount of seasoning and flavor, the hush puppies were not overcooked. The crab cakes were excellent. Our server was attentive. The restrooms were clean and the atmosphere was down home and friendly. They know how to handle large crowds so don't be intimidated by the long line to get in when they open. read more

I was very surprised with the amount of people waiting to get in as we showed up at opening time. The line moved very fast and the hostess was a great communicator. Nothing fancy at all but very good food hall vibe. The buffet was done by all of us so no menu orders. However, I saw some steaks come out that looked really good. The food was as expected with lots of choices and lots of fried foods. When trays were empty fresh food was right behind. As it relates to the food and taste. Again, all fried but tasty and hot. The sides looked good with a few I didn't try, like the Mac and cheese as it looked too soupy for my liking. This will be a place we take out of towners for the experience. Staff was fantastic and worth the trip! read more

Food were greasy and table to close to each other price is extremely high as other people were all in our conversation as we sit down and ate not to many green vegetables to chose from and it took a few minutes for the hush puppy to come out first time there and our family did not like the grassy food the service were ok but we did not know who to tip because there were so many waitress coming around read more

Awesome place that is unpretentious. Just basic down to earth great seafood. For the price for an all you can eat buffet is excellent.

I ordered a catfish fillet plate with Mac n cheese and fried green tomatoes. The fish was cooked perfectly, tomatoes were just right, and the Mac n cheese was creamy as could be. Even the hush puppies weren't cooked to death. I'm glad I ordered online because the place was packed! I went in and went right back out with my order. The food was fantastic and I will definitely repeat this order again. Great job!! read more

The late evening that I went, we were escorted immediately to a table. It was under two hours until closing time. Variety, yes. Quantity, yes. Quality, no. Items from the hot bar area were hit or miss. Both hot and cold boiled shrimp were not firm -- overcooked Too many of the fried foods were only warm. Service was exceptional. If I were to go again, I would try a time not near closing time. read more

The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was a very smooth and quick experience. The flavor of the food was beyond my expectations. Forget a customer read more

Service is great! It's just a good Family Restaurant. Nothing fancy. We enjoy it every time we go because the food is very good. The food most people get is the buffet, which is delicious! read more

We use to come here all the time. It had been a while and I thought we would see, if they were still good. The place was very clean. The service was great and the food was a little above average for a seafood bar. Especially this far from a fresh source! Dont come here expecting a nice decor. Its very country basic in that department. The fried shrimp were pretty small but they had a good flavor. There was no crab legs. I honestly dont remember if there ever were. I really wouldnt expect quality crab legs at $21 per person. They did have mud bugs and the flavor was very good. The catfish was just ok. I do remember that being a little better. They have lots of good sides to choose from. Like corn on the cobb, turnip greens, chicken spaghetti, fries, onion rings, or hush puppies just to name a few. The overall experience in my opinion was great. I think you can get your moneys worth for what they do have. If your a fan of the peel and eat shrimp, you can get your moneys worth in just in that. Im a big fan of gumbo and jambalaya. They have both and they were also good. The dessert bar was your average peach cobbler, fuge brownie, and banana puddin choices. I hit the soft cream myself after eating all that heavy food.... lol .... My biggest take away. Is get there early if you dont want to wait for a long time. This place stays packed and It does move quickly. Hope you enjoy! read more

Overpriced and everything yay sets the same. Great service and the facility is clean for the most part.

I like that this place is only open a few days for a few hours. I believe this is why the quality was higher than expected and the service was better than expected. Everybody should be able to give it their all for a few hours and this place does. So happy I came. The parking lot is just a gravel pit. It may take you a minute to find a free spot and get off the lot. The restaurant is a wooden establishment on a hill. Most people order the buffet and fill up quickly so the table wait is not long. They need some more staff but the staff they do have work hard. The buffet is loaded with food. One section is a dessert bar with peach cobbler, brownies, banana pudding, and an ice cream machine. Another section is a salad bar. It has all the toppings and dressings you need. They also use the salad bar for loaded baked potatoes. They have a chill section with chilled shelled shrimp, cole slaw, tartar sauce. The hot section is the main attraction. They have whole fish, fish fillets, blackened fish, hush puppies, fried oysters, fried green tomatoes, chicken strips, frog legs, french fries, fried mushrooms, and so many other items. read more

Service was amazing! Everyone kept checking on us and refilling our drinks. Constantly coming over to see if we need anything. The steak was great. The buffet was a let down. I would give it a 6/10. Lots of choices but not great food. It was just ok. read more

We come here at least every week or two with our family. It's the best catfish you can get! They have a lot of choices, but not many that aren't fried. I love the crab casserole and blackened fish. The deserts with soft serve are the best part read more

If you're looking for fried catfish that's a good place. You can go with the buffet, but we buy the large fillet plate with an extra small salad and it's enough for the two of us. We even take home enough for another meal. The free cup of ice cream after eating doesn't hurt. read more

They have a really good seafood menu. My favorite item was the whole catfish. I think that was my 1st time seeing whole catfish on a buffet. The other items are great as well and they also have dessert....including a self-serve ice cream machine. The staff there is very friendly and the price isn't too bad for what you get. I was very pleased read more

This place is a hidden gem! Totally worth the trip! So delicious! The fried green tomatoes were the best ever! Frog legs were a new treat for me but delicious! Dessert was perfect! read more

Don't like to use the word, "service". All staff members show up for work and take pride in this business! Incredible smiles and very hospitable! Food is great. Variety on the huge buffet line. Always adding during the course of the evening. Recommend the hamburger steak w/ sautéed onions and brown gravy, fried catfish, shrimp (boiled & fried), veggies, fried oysters and baked sweet potatoes. Haven't delved into any other food - yet! Peach cobbler is delish. Kudos to Amy, Sharon & Belinda - I'm new to the area...don't yet know everyone there but these ladies are incredible! Very attentive. It's a must for anyone that hasn't dined here. To go or dine-in, nothing has been missing or wrong with an order. Very detailed. read more

Great selection. Always fresh. They bring out small batches so they are fresh and hot

The restaurant was packed, that's my memory! Doors opened at 4:30pm and there was a line around the corner (literally) before they could officially unlock the door. 30 of my family members visited for the buffet. The food was hot, the staff was friendly and everything tasted pretty good. I rated 4 stars because the restaurant uses plastic plates and that doesn't work well for seafood. read more

Fish taste terrible. I don't know what it's cooked in, but it's not peanut oil. Promised myself I'd never go back.

No vegetables on a buffet! Very strange The baked catfish was disgusting Mushy and way too salty We got there at 530 and they were already out of things Will never go back read more

Seafood Buffett is the most reasonable option unless you're interested in a soup or sandwich. LIKED/LIKED/LIKED/LIKED/LIKED/LIKED Boiled Shrimp Fried Tomatoes Fried Oysters Frog Legs DISLIKED\ DISLIKED\DISLIKED\DISLIKED Not as many baked/boiled/steamed items as I would have liked but I assume it's due to demand. Most everything is fried. Service, this is always a big ticket item for me, (why only 3 stars), she couldn't multitask or remember... We could only get one thing at a time done, I would have loved for her to just try to write it down. It didn't make sense for her to run back and forth refilling one drink. read more

Made reservations at The Seafood Junction with my family after one of our family members passed away. they were able to accomidate all 10 or 11 of us. The staff all went above and beyond to make this time of sorrow more bearable for us. The food was amazing and service was first class. We were made to feel welcome and even got pctures and a whole lot of laughs and smiles all around. I would highly recommened if your in the area to make sure tis is one of the places you check out. The staff here is possibly the rudest food service staff I have ever encountered. For the price this is possibly worst seafood that I have been served. Do not darken their door. read more

Not that great needs lots of improvements. The buffet is a great gesture. The service ok.

Awesome food & having more ppl of color serving would be very nice since most of customers are African American.

I'm a huge fan or seafood and back home in Memphis their aren't too many places (outside of the traditional friend chicken and fish, meaning catfish/haddock/buffalo, shops) that serve seafood as it's main offerings. About 3 years ago my uncle starting telling me he just HAD to take me to this spot. Now every time I go back home I make the hour drive to Seafood Junction to get my fried food kick. The dining hall is very simple: quality wooden folding tables, clean table cloth, chairs. That's it. The service is good but since it's a buffet, they only come around for drinks (water, sweet tea, and lemonade are free; soft drinks cost $£¥), cutlery and condiments. The food is what you are there for. They serve tradition South Eastern/Delta seafood: shrimp, oyster, crab cakes, catfish, clam strips. The preparation is mostly fried and honestly that all I pay attention to. They do have a myriad of traditional Southern sides and desserts. read more

The food is consistently good. The seafood is cooked in small batches so it's always hot and fresh. My favorite though is their steak! The best in town!! read more

I really enjoyed this place the seafood buffet was loaded as soon as we walked in we were seated and served. The waitress was very nice she checked on us and made sure to grab our finished plates so the table won't be cluttered. The food was very good I will be revisiting to get my seafood fix read more

Four of us went on October 28 to Seafood Junction. Three of us had the buffet and one ordered a ribeye steak off the menu. The selections on the buffet were many including catfish filets, whole fried catfish, blackened catfish, fried frog legs, fried whole quail and fried chicken tenders to name a few. Excellent fried green tomatoes, pickled green tomatoes, fried onion rings and fried dill pickles were on the buffet. Desserts, banana pudding and/or ice cream included in the $19.95 price. The service was great, none of us ever had to ask for refills. If I can get over overeating I'll be back there to eat next week. I wish they were open more days! read more

This place is so good. I have never been to a buffet before where I can say that literally everything that I had (that I like normally) is actually delicious. This place was right on. And the sweet tea? The best sweet tea I have ever had. And I have had a lot of sweet tea being born and raised in the south. Everything was just great. It is a little pricey, at $17 a person, but it is well worth it. You have to remember, it is seafood that you're eating. Give this place a try, you won't regret it! But, they're only open Thursday through Sunday. read more

LOCAL and Great! I am a New York Foodie on a week vacation in the Memphis. This place is a perfect foodie adventure. Great southern local spot with terriffic food. A buffet with high quality food, all you can eat and delicious. I love the trip from Memphis to Byhailia. It was easy and allowed me to see some countryside. The place is a huge metal building. Long and short tables. On a weekend night, expect a thirty minute wait for dinnem, even with a big line it moves along. They have a dinner menu if you have a NON-buffet champion, but I say go Buffet! I loved almost everything offered but the centerpiece for me was catfish. They offer whole catfish (my preference) and boneless filet. My son liked the boneless as its easier to approach but the little crispy edges of the whole fish catfish are truely amazing. The have a green salad to fill that need but nothing special. I though the mac and cheese was great. The pickeled green tomatoes were addicting. As a northerner, I ate the fried green tomatoes too which a good, not great! Did you ask? Yes I ate the fried frog legs! Delicious.... "tastes like chicken." The fried chicken was yummy but i really focused on the catfish. There are so many other items on the buffet. I really can't say any a bad thing about them. Dessert - Funny but they make trays of peach cobbler and this chocolate cake/lava cake. My kids both said the ooosey yummy chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream is one of their favorates of all time. My comment "This shows how a simple can of peaches can really up its game" This is a great place. read more

I have been coming here with my family for 13 years. These people know us by name. They are a family owned restaurant open Thursday- Saturday or maybe Sunday. Can't remember. It's buffet style or you can order of off a menu. Yes, the food is fried. But this is good ole southern cooking. It's awesome. Comfort food at its finest. It's far out from Memphis. But, it's very much worth the drive for my folks and I. The hot boiled shrimp and regular cold shrimp are amazing and so are the catfish fillets. Don't forget to try the banana pudding. Also, this is totally lax place- you eat off picnic tables. Very much so hole in the wall establishment. But the food is great, it's clean, the staff is friendly. And it's good this awesome southern feel about it that I love. Make sure you sleep with a water bottle next to you that night as you will wake up dehydrated from the salt intake. Don't say I didn't warn you. read more
