Had a wonderful 2 night stay here in mid June. This was the first place my family came and stayed when I was a kid back in the early 90's on our first trip to Bar Harbor and it was so wonderful to see that the inn is still being wonderfully kept by Bunny.
Room prices are in line with other inns in the area, but the location of this one is better than many - easy to get anywhere downtown and the shoreline is just as close on the other side. Plenty of parking, which is a luxury in town during season. The rooms are even better than they appear on the website, and the inn is very picturesque itself.
In the morning, you have an option of having some breakfast items available for a modest fee. You also have the option of housekeeping for a fee, but towel exchange is available daily throughout your stay.
I believe the majority of rooms have an in-suite bathroom, though some are across the hall. I find this common in the area, and not a problem when robes are provided (as they are here). Our room had an in-suite restroom so it was a non-issue for us. Additionally our room had a small wet bar and mini fridge with microwave. It was nice being able to chill yogurt for the morning, beer for the evening and enjoy the weather out on the front lawn.
You will feel at home here, as we certainly did (and I wrote that before I noticed someone else say that!). Very clean and comfortable. I will definitely book the Seacroft Inn on any subsequent visits to Bar Harbor. read more
