This cleaners is Reasonable priced, turnaround time, and clothes look great! I recommend

Been getting my work dry cleaning here since the place across the street closed. Never any problems with Sarah until we had a slip cover dry cleaned. Brought it home and the thing would not fit. Andrew, the owner came over and between the two of us over 200 pounds got the slip cover on but the thing is busting at the seams, the pillows are too small. Andrew's responses, they'll stretch. My wife called Andrew and she was not happy with how the slipcover fit, Andrew actually yelling at her telling her that she filmed me saying that it was OK. That is not the truth, and Andrew, how long have you been in customer service? Yelling at your customers? Stay clear, I wish I had read the other reviews before now. read more

I chose drop C point cleaners as my new dry cleaner in San Clemente because of its location, which is very convenient for me. It is essentially located. As for the services, I brought in an expensive dress shirt, and wool items, including wool, lined trousers, and the job was extremely well done and the prices were very, very reasonable. My experience couldn't have been better and I'll be going back. I highly recommend this business. read more

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE COMING HERE. I had been a customer here for over a year ... until now. Her turnaround time was not great, generally a week. Whenever I'd drop off she would ask when I needed, and no matter what I told her, she would just respond back with her normal turnaround time, which again is generally a week. This was always annoying;: If you aren't going to work with your customers on timing, why even ask? Just put up a sign with your turnaround time. Last week was the final straw. I brought in a tux that I needed cleaned and altered by Saturday for an event on Saturday. I went in during the week, told her I needed for Saturday, and she told me it would be done on Saturday. I confirmed this with her THREE times with her before I left, including that it would be ready when she opened at 10 am on Saturday. I came in on Saturday at noon and it wasn't ready. Instead of apologizing, she kept just saying, "Monday, Monday," and I repeatedly had to tell her that wasn't going to work. Then, instead of saying, "I'm so sorry, I'll get this done for you, just give me a few hours," I literally had to argue with her for 10 minutes to get her to agree to fix her mistake that day. Finally, she then said it would be ready at 2 or 3, and I told her I could not wait past three. Around 2:30, she calls to tell me that it won't be ready until 3:30. I told her that wasn't going to work, as I had previously told her I needed it by 3. Again, rather than work with me and apologize, she just kept saying "3:30, 3:30." I had to argue with her another 10 minutes, until she finally agreed to get it done by 3 as she had initially said. I go in at three, now cutting it close on my event and my day now disrupted for having to plan two trips to the dry cleaner. The tux is ready, thank God. But again, no apology whatsoever, and then she asked me to pay her FULL PRICE. Insulted, I laughed and said, "You aren't going to give me a discount for this?" She then responded by cutting down the $53 bill by just THREE DOLLARS to $50. Again, I just laughed, and without any time to argue further, just paid and left. Mistakes happen, and this was a bad one. But the biggest problem was how she handled it. No apologies, no willingness to fix her own mistake, no offered discount for all the trouble, and, when pressed, offered only a trivial discount for my trouble. She put me in a very difficult position, and I had to fight with her like crazy just be able to have something to wear at my event. read more

Very poor dry cleaning! Frequently had to return clothing due to not having cleaned it well the first time! Returned a shirt of my husband's that had been cleaned and the collar and cuff's were still dirty. Sarah, the clerk, wanted to charge me to dry clean it again. Due to her inability to speak English, it was hard to have a discussion with her about the continued problem. So, will be going to another dry cleaners in Dana Point, a little out of the way, but, well worth it (and less expensive). read more

Anything lower to choose than a 1 star? DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!. Absolute worst customer service. I requested an alternation on uniform shirts and she botched them significantly. I also requested for my shirts to be laundered. As you can tell from the pics no dry clean was done. I will not be coming back and will tell my partners the same. read more

Sea Pointe Cleaners - Terribke laundered shirts. - Laundry Services Near Me - San Clemente, California

Welp, figured I'd try this cleaners as it was right next to Alex's tailoring and I needed to drop something off there too. Bad idea. I just dropped off three shirts to be laundered, not dry cleaned. Dropped them off on Wednesday, was told they'd be ready Saturday. Came in the following Tuesday and was told that only 2 of the 3 shirts were ready. Ok, some kind of mix up, it happens, I get it. But then, the woman who worked there, after taking my ticket, tried to tell me that it was my mistake and the shirts were never going to be ready until Wednesday. Once I got the ticket back from her I pointed out that it clearly said ready Saturday. No apology, nothing. Just a "come back tomorrow" The three shirts were $8, so while it's not the most expensive cleaners I've ever heard of we're not talking some cheapy place where "you get what you pay for". Also, $10 minimum for credit card. Not seeing any reason to go back here, especially given how many other cleaners there are in the area. read more

I came here to get a bridesmaids dress dry cleaned; no altering, no fixing, JUST dry cleaned. The alterations place next door had good reviews, so I decided to try this place. I needed it in a week, and they said it would be done in 5 days. I went a day AFTER my ticket said to pick up, and it wasn't ready. They asked if I could come the next day, but I needed it for a wedding. My dress wasn't even in the shop. They asked if I could come back at 5pm, and seeing that my dress wasn't in the shop, I agreed. I returned and picked up my dress, upset that I even had to pay $30.50. I got to my event the next day and noticed my dress had stains in it!! What did I even pay $30 for?! I guess it is my mistake for not removing the plastic to examine the dress in detail knowing it was a rush job, but it looked like they steamed it and just put a plastic bag over it. PLEASE. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. There are many businesses down the 5 freeway that support military families and you can get a better job for your money. read more

Ok - not inclined to get to excited about one mistake...but this place is not living up to expectations with now understanding of customer service. Generally they perform the role of a cleaners - and pricing is typical. Issue has been first they were unable to have clothes available when promised - which was a 2-day turn around. While frustrating, in this situation it was a big deal as I was leaving town the next morning. Kind of got the "sorry - but we don't have them" and that was it. Most recently when we went in to retrieve clothes and we were informed that they don't take credit cards for under $10 for our $8.75 bill. Frustrating but ok. Went out to the car and came back with $6 cash, $2 quarters, & the balance in smaller coins including some pennies. This time informed that they do not take pennies!! Come on now - already frustrated with the credit card thing & now won't take pennies? We were talking about $0.10 in pennies.....in the name of customer service wouldn't you just take it and move on. Needless to say - there are plenty of other options and this would not be one I would recommend. read more

The actual worst dry cleaning experience ever. I brought in 3 items to be dry cleaned, as I was looking for a new cleaner closer to home. I brought items in on a Monday, and was told to pick up on Thursday - which seemed long, but fine. I came back on Thursday and she said they weren't ready? I explained that she told me Thursday and she said she got busy. I tried to come back the following morning, but they don't open till 10:00am? What dry cleaner doesn't allow people to drop off before work? Odd. I came back the following week, and the items were ready, but one of the items still has the stain that I had shown her during drop off. It was coffee, which I know can be removed - I asked about it and she said it didn't come out (and we all know it can come out), so I asked that she try again. She grumbled and agreed. I then allowed another week to pass and went to pick up and it was finally clean. Never again - back to my favorite cleaners across town. read more

I gave this service a 1 because they ruined the leather jacket that I took into get cleaned. It was sent out to a leather cleaning company they contract with . They broke the buckle on the jacket and attempted to fix it . When I brought it the the cleaners attention they could not figure out what to do . I asked them to have it fixed , the employee used my phone to take pictures and shared it with the owner . She said she would call me back , never heard back from them . It was obvious that it had been broken and attempted to fix it . I even asked if I took it next door to the alterations shop if they would cover the cost. They said they would fix it . But never heard back . Don't waist your time there , there's a cleaners across the street who has a better leather service . Should have gone there , but wanted to give this place a try . Bad choice . read more

I am not one to write bad reviews ... but being that I checked in and used a 20 percent off yelp coupon and did not have the best experience I will this time ... the lady who runs the cleaners gave me a price when I dropped my stuff off and seemed very nice. When I came to pick up my things she tried to charge me $24 more then what she told me the cost would be...and when I was reminding her of our conversation when I dropped my stuff off she started to speak out loud in a different language and got incredibly rude. I will not be going back to this cleaners and I don't recommend this place to anyone. There's other cleaners within a mile radius from here to give a chance and try rather then go to a business that changes price upon pick up and gets extremely rude when you speak up. read more

I have been going to Sea Pointe Cleaners for the past 10 years and they provide excellent service! Sarah is exceptional in customer service to me and always meets the scheduled dates I require for my clothes to be ready. I have recommended Sea Pointe to all my neighbors since we live very close to the cleaners. read more

I was charged $4.00 for one laundry shirt. I don't live full time in San Clemente and feel I was taken advantage of. Will not return

The first time I went in here, the lady was very friendly, and told me that they do small repairs to clothing for free. If I lost a button or something small, they would fix it. The pricing is pretty normal for a dry cleaner, neither cheap nor expensive. The turn-around time for getting your stuff back is usually a couple of days. I once asked for same day service, and they couldn't do it. They once did next day service upon my request and were happy to help. It's close to home, so it gets the job done for me. Nothing to write home about, though. read more

I have lived in Capo Beach for over 7 years and always go see Sara at Sea Pointe Cleaners. She has always done a fantastic job for me even on my most difficult items of clothing. Sara has always been friendly and a pleasure to deal with. On Multiple occasions, Sara has repaired clothing at no additional cost. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Thank you Sara ! read more

I have been going to Sea Pointe for years and have always received excellent service. Sara is always there and works extremely hard to provide friendly, excellent service. The one time I wanted a shirt re-done there wasn't any question, redone, on-time, with no charge. I have also had some buttons sewn on and minor repairs, sometimes free and other times a minor charge for bigger jobs. When I first started looking for a cleaning establishment I tried other local operations, but found Sea Pointe was the best. read more

We have been using these cleaners since having nothing but problems with another local cleaner who we will not shame. After using them for many years now at both locations I have to say that the service is and has been excellent. Sarah goes the extra mile spotting and treating stains we had not noticed, making small repairs e.g. replacing buttons or fixing a loose hem. They do not offer same day cleaning but we plan around that knowing it up front. It would be hard to find someone another to replace the great service and rapport we have there. Try them, I think you will be happy. read more

Yes the person who said she has been going to Sara for Years and can't imagine going anywhere else...I say "DITTO"....she has a real interest and passion and doing a GREAT Job has always displayed Great Customer Service, is Cordial and Friendly and offers Helpful Suggestion. I also would NEVER consider going anywhere else. If you live around here in San Clemente, do yourself a HUGE FAVOR and GO HERE!!! Thanks Sara. Kean read more

BIGGEST RIP OFF PLACES EVER!! The first time (and last time) I ever used them, I went to pick up my laundry and found that they had torn a 6 inch hole in the shirt which was also obviously stained with dry cleaning fluid. It was quite obvious they caused the damage while it was in the possession, but they tried to say it was damaged when I brought it in, even though the same lady went through my clothes just days earlier. ( A hole this size would of obviously been observed had their version been correct.) They were extremely rude and unwillingly to make any compromises. I have heard other similar stories from local past customers. How this place stays in business I have no idea. Avoid this place like the plague! read more

I have been taking my clothes to Sea Pointe for nearly 10 years. I am consistently satisfied with their dry cleaning, alterations and other services. Sara knows my family and me so well that she starts getting my clothes ready as soon as she sees my car pull up. She is such a sweet and thoughtful person and always a bright spot on my Saturdays. This is the type of place which truly can make an otherwise sprawling suburb seem like a more intimate small town. read more
