Always a great service every time! Close and convenient. All of my items are expertly cleaned and ready on time!

The third ruined item this year, clearly heat or solvent issue and they said it was light that when I brought it in. I spend a couple hundred dollars here a month and the experience has been horrible. read more

They are affordable and take the time to listen and have great turnaround time. She is incredibly knowledgeable and respectful and knows how to alternate most anything. I am so happy that I found Such cleaners that take such pride in their work as well are so talented. It makes a huge difference for as a manager at a luxury denim company to have someone with a passion for selling denim. Thank you for all your hard work. I look forward for my working with the nurses copy once the doctor gives me the information to get the proper set up and proper meds read more

Very happy with the tailoring quality to fix joth delicate sweater and rughed denim. Friendly service, quality, and meets time promised. I have been charged more for simpler tasks elsewhere so I am very happy bringing my clothese here. They were also very upfront when they felt they could not properly work on a garment without potentially damaging it, which I appreciate the honesty and being up front. read more

I have been coming here since 2020 when covid caused all the other cleaners in the area to shut down permanently. I see it as a blessing though, because Heather, the owner, is wonderful! She knows all of her customers by name and before you even walk up to the counter, she has already entered your phone number into the system and is gathering your items! Talk about great customer service! Overall, great people, great service, all at reasonable prices! read more

Talega Cleaners - Great hours - Dry Cleaning Near Me - San Clemente, California

When I first moved to Talega in San Clemente , I tried a few dry cleaners but found I just wasn't happy with their final outcome. Happened to notice Talega Cleaners on the way to the store one day. I realize it isn't customary to rave about your dry cleaners but this one is worthy of praise. Impeccable work. Attention to detail. Runway ready. Prompt service. Alterations and repair. Heather the owner, even put a button on a silk tunic for me (without me asking) and it was the perfect match. Not only is their work incredible, but the greeting and smile that you receive when you walk in the door is such a welcome change from many businesses today. I highly recommend Talega Cleaners...I promise you won't be disappointed. read more

Talega Cleaners does an amazing job and always goes above and beyond. Sometimes I have rush requests due to travel and they do their best to accommodate. I highly recommend them for your dry cleaning needs! read more

My 85 year old mother was charged $106.25 on 9/2/23 to clean 2 sheets, 1 mattress cover, 2 pillow cases & 1 towel. This is ridiculous! We will never use this business again. read more

Not sure how they are at cleaning, but if you need any tailoring, do NOT waste your time or money dealing with this lady. Doesn't know what she's doing. I ended up having to take my pants to another place to fix what they messed up. read more

They sewed my patches on upside down and off center. Furthermore the main lady blamed me for approving the patch orientation and location. I DID NOT GIVE THEM THE OK TO SEW MY PATCHES ON UPSIDE DOWN. That's the only reason I was there, so I was insulted the lady passed the blame. Still paid full price, they didn't offer any resolution. So I will happily explain the details in full to everyone I talk to about talega cleaners. Maybe the next occupant of this unit will be better. read more

Reading some of the negative comments makes me think people have the wrong place. The owners and staff at Talega Cleaners are the best! I have been using them for 2 years and they have bent over backwards for me. If you are looking for superb customer service at a reasonable price, look no further! read more

very friendly, always very timely. and wonderful alteration services that will work with you.

Talega Cleaners is great. I've used Dry Cleaners from AZ to LA to SF and now here in Talega and I think they're one of the best. For someone who is particular about dry cleaning they go the extra step in great customer service and I'm always greeted with a smile. After a few visits they knew who I was when I returned and know that I'm particular with my dress shirts, suits, and sweaters. Never one have I received a garment back that didn't appear to be perfectly cared for. For men, who like nice crisp dress shirt collars - the clip they add to the front button to keep your collar from falling over on itself when it's being hung in the closet is something a lot of dry cleaners don't do. Plus, if you're into saving a few bucks - they always have a coupon available online for up to 40% off. read more

Friendly, helpful staff - clothes are handled with care and are ready on schedule. I'm a satisfied customer!

Do not use this dry cleaners. They are only about 5 minutes from my residence, but worth the time to go elsewhere. Used them for a while and thought they were good, until they ruined a few delicate items and gave the usual " it's a problem with the material or manufacturing"!many dry cleaners give to avoid paying for the garment or admitting the mistake. If the garment had a issue, I should have been advised at drop off, not as an excuse at pickup. When I asked for a credit for future dry cleaning as compensation (reasonable request), was told to go elsewhere. They actually did me a favor in the end. Do yourself a favor, and go elsewhere. read more

I'm so grateful for the work the gal at Talega Cleaners! I needed a dress tailored for an upcoming wedding, and they did such an incredible job, in a timely fashion that I felt not only beautiful but comfortable in my dress! I would feel comfortable having them work on anything I need tailoring services for + recommend them to my family + friends often! read more

My husband brings his business suits here and today the broken buttons were replaced and the owner didn't even charge us for it. I wasn't expecting this. Very good business ethic. Highly recommended! Good location since it's right across Ralphs, Panera bread and beside a surf shop & a salon. read more

Very nice business. Family owned and run, I dropped 5 suits off in the afternoon and at 6 their son called me to tell me the hemming on 3 of my suits I hardly wear was coming off. 8 bucks to re-hem it. Very nice people and they do good work and don't charge a lot read more

Talega Cleaners is the only one I will use. The staff are friendly, Professional and helpful. They not only take excellent care of my clothes, they also replace missing buttons and they do it with a smile. Only once my clothes were not ready on time so they delivered the clothes to my house after-hours. Exceptional services! read more

I have had a leather jacket and dress tailored here. Also had a quilt dry cleaned. Sometimes pricey but I have had good service.

We love Talega cleaners!! We used to have Dry Cleaning services @ work so we never had to deal with a local cleaner. The reviews made me nervous, but they are so far off! We signed up with Talega Cleaners a while back, and have been using their FREE weekly delivery service. They pickup our bag and drop off our clean items. They do a really great job on everything & we couldn't be happier! Cherry on top: the owner is the sweetest lady!! read more

NO ISSUE RESOLUTION FROM THIS BUSINESS. After years of bringing both my husbands and my dry cleaning to this cleaners, they have lost our business!!! I brought in two pairs of firefighter uniform pants for my son. These pants had been altered at another establishment and where the alterations cause the creases to be off. I asked the owner if she could fix the hem that was poorly done and to try and correct the creases both front and back that were off center. I was assured she could fix these issues. Well...when I picked up my items and checked the pants, the hem was fixed, however, there were two crease on the back of the pants. So I drove back to the cleaners and tried to point out that there were two creases on the back of the pants...I was speaking with the owners son when the owner came to the counter and told me they could not get the other crease out. I pointed out that we had this discussion when I brought the pants in and she had assured me she could fix them. I then asked if she charged me for the pressing and she replied "yes" because I had asked for them to be pressed. I asked her why when I picked up the pants, she didn't instead tell me that she could not remove the first crease in order to press a new one, and that because we have been such good customers (bringing her a great deal of business over many years), she would not charge me for the pressing. Instead she continued to defend her reason she could not remove a crease and press a new one. I told her I am done arguing with her over what she should have done and she has lost our business!! Very nice when you bring her business and $$ but if you have a problem with something...Very POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They have no idea what issue resolution looks like!!!! read more

Very disappointed and never going back. We had signed up for their weekly pickup and drop off service and then they don't pick up the clothing every week. When I brought my items in and said they hadn't come. The lady working there complained to me that we only have a couple of items every week. When I had agreed to the pick up and drop off there was no limit to how much or little to have cleaned per week. She made it seem like a few items a week to be cleaned was not enough business. Now they will be getting zero items from us per week. Polo Cleaners has a free pick up and delivery service and we will be using them going forward. The situation was annoying but the lady's rudeness was the worst. Absolutely no customer service skills what so ever. read more

This has to be the worst dry cleaners ever. The people are rude and don't care about anything but you money , beware they move overnight with out telling you and you garments as well that's not their problem they have a warehouse and if they have time they'll look for it and if they like your stuff forget about it they pretend they know nothing about it. And also they own other cleaners in town I check the BBB and they have been complains. read more

BE CAREFUL!!! I will never use this cleaner again. Owner quotes me 1 price and then when I come in to pay, she tries to tell me another price almost double. They stopped putting the price on your claim ticket so they can charge you whatever they want. The owner (lady) was extremely rude to me after I confronted her about her dishonesty. I have been going to that cleaner for 10 years but that dishonesty has forced me to never go there again. Most people don't check their receipt and could be over charged. It just so happened that I knew what she quoted me and the total was way off. She finally gave me the difference back but had the worst attitude. She made me feel like I did something wrong by pointing out her error. Long story short.... STAY AWAY unless you don't care about overpaying for your cleaning. read more

I want to start by saying this is the first Yelp Review I have every written. We moved to San Clemente 9 months ago and being new to the area I have found it to be a helpful tool in selecting local businesses. I have used Talega Cleaners for 9 months. I have never had a problem until recently. I recently took in 7 shirts to be dry-cleaned, 2 of these shirt were brand new, as we had just bought them for a wedding we were going to be attending out of town. We wanted to have them pressed for the wedding. When we took them out of the plastic wrap at the destination - our fault for not looking prior to leaving California - but then why would you when you're only having them pressed), hours before the wedding, we realized that our son's shirt had red marks on the collar and shoulder. It looked like it was possibly made from the machine they used to press it as all the lines were straight and uniform. Due to being 3000 miles from California for the wedding, we had to go to out and purchase another new shirt for my son to wear to the wedding. When I returned to town, and brought the shirt to show the owner(s), she said that nothing like this had ever happened in 20 years of them doing business. I find it hard to believe that they have never had any problems in 20 years. However, I just expected her to be fair and compensate me for the money that I had spent purchasing another new shirt. She offered to clean the shirt again and see if they could remove the stains. They cleaned the shirt and the red stains did come out. We now have 2 dress shirts for a 14 year old boy who doesn't need 2 dress shirts. I don't feel that she was fair or reasonable. She offered a small amount of credit for future dry cleaning that didn't even come close to the amount that was spent on the 2nd shirt for my son. The owner(s) made me feel that my request to be compensated for their staining a brand new shirt was unreasonable. read more

Didn't have great experience! My blanket was ruined and they lost my husband's expensive shirt. The lady wouldn't even go and check if they have it. Very DISAPPOINTED! read more
