They sewed my patches on upside down and off center. Furthermore the main lady blamed me for approving the patch orientation and location. I DID NOT GIVE THEM THE OK TO SEW MY PATCHES ON UPSIDE DOWN. That's the only reason I was there, so I was insulted the lady passed the blame. Still paid full price, they didn't offer any resolution. Talega Cleaners is great. I've used Dry Cleaners from AZ to LA to SF and now here in Talega and I think they're one of the best. For someone who is particular about dry cleaning they go the extra step in great customer service and I'm always greeted with a smile. After a few visits they knew who I was when I returned and know that I'm particular with my dress shirts, suits, and sweaters. Never one have I received a garment back that didn't appear to be perfectly cared for. Do not use this dry cleaners. They are only about 5 minutes from my residence, but worth the time to go elsewhere. Used them for a while and thought they were good, until they ruined a few delicate items and gave the usual " it's a problem with the material or manufacturing"!many dry cleaners give to avoid paying for the garment or admitting the mistake. If the garment had a issue, I should have been advised at drop off, not as an excuse at pickup. When I asked for a credit for future dry cleaning as compensation (reasonable request), was told to go elsewhere. They actually did me a favor in the end. Do yourself a favor, and go elsewhere. read more

NO ISSUE RESOLUTION FROM THIS BUSINESS. After years of bringing both my husbands and my dry cleaning to this cleaners, they have lost our business!!! I brought in two pairs of firefighter uniform pants for my son. These pants had been altered at another establishment and where the alterations cause the creases to be off. I asked the owner if she could fix the hem that was poorly done and to try and correct the creases both front and back that were off center. I was assured she could fix these issues. Well...when I picked up my items and checked the pants, the hem was fixed, however, there were two crease on the back of the pants. So I drove back to the cleaners and tried to point out that there were two creases on the back of the pants...I was speaking with the owners son when the owner came to the counter and told me they could not get the other crease out. I pointed out that we had this discussion when I brought the pants in and she had assured me she could fix them. I then asked if she charged me for the pressing and she replied "yes" because I had asked for them to be pressed. I asked her why when I picked up the pants, she didn't instead tell me that she could not remove the first crease in order to press a new one, and that because we have been such good customers (bringing her a great deal of business over many years), she would not charge me for the pressing. Instead she continued to defend her reason she could not remove a crease and press a new one. I told her I am done arguing with her over what she should have done and she has lost our business!! Very nice when you bring her business and $$ but if you have a problem with something...Very POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They have no idea what issue resolution looks like!!!! read more

Very disappointed and never going back. We had signed up for their weekly pickup and drop off service and then they don't pick up the clothing every week. When I brought my items in and said they hadn't come. The lady working there complained to me that we only have a couple of items every week. When I had agreed to the pick up and drop off there was no limit to how much or little to have cleaned per week. She made it seem like a few items a week to be cleaned was not enough business. Now they will be getting zero items from us per week. Polo Cleaners has a free pick up and delivery service and we will be using them going forward. The situation was annoying but the lady's rudeness was the worst. Absolutely no customer service skills what so ever. read more

The people are rude and don't care about anything but you money , beware they move overnight with out telling you and you garments as well that's not their problem they have a warehouse and if they have time they'll look for it and if they like your stuff forget about it they pretend they know nothing about it. BE CAREFUL!!! I will never use this cleaner again. Owner quotes me 1 price and then when I come in to pay, she tries to tell me another price almost double. They stopped putting the price on your claim ticket so they can charge you whatever they want. The owner (lady) was extremely rude to me after I confronted her about her dishonesty. I have been going to that cleaner for 10 years but that dishonesty has forced me to never go there again. Most people don't check their receipt and could be over charged. It just so happened that I knew what she quoted me and the total was way off. She finally gave me the difference back but had the worst attitude. I want to start by saying this is the first Yelp Review I have every written. We moved to San Clemente 9 months ago and being new to the area I have found it to be a helpful tool in selecting local businesses. I have used Talega Cleaners for 9 months. I have never had a problem until recently. I recently took in 7 shirts to be dry-cleaned, 2 of these shirt were brand new, as we had just bought them for a wedding we were going to be attending out of town. We wanted to have them pressed for the wedding. When we took them out of the plastic wrap at the destination - our fault for not looking prior to leaving California - but then why would you when you're only having them pressed), hours before the wedding, we realized that our son's shirt had red marks on the collar and shoulder. It looked like it was possibly made from the machine they used to press it as all the lines were straight and uniform. Due to being 3000 miles from California for the wedding, we had to go to out and purchase another new shirt for my son to wear to the wedding. When I returned to town, and brought the shirt to show the owner(s), she said that nothing like this had ever happened in 20 years of them doing business. I find it hard to believe that they have never had any problems in 20 years. However, I just expected her to be fair and compensate me for the money that I had spent purchasing another new shirt. She offered to clean the shirt again and see if they could remove the stains. They cleaned the shirt and the red stains did come out. We now have 2 dress shirts for a 14 year old boy who doesn't need 2 dress shirts. I don't feel that she was fair or reasonable. She offered a small amount of credit for future dry cleaning that didn't even come close to the amount that was spent on the 2nd shirt for my son. The owner(s) made me feel that my request to be compensated for their staining a brand new shirt was unreasonable. read more
