I came here, was greeted with a friendly smile and reassured all the stains or problem areas would be addressed, paid up front and was given a ticket with a day it would be ready. Sure enough, i came everything was as it was supposed to be and areas addressed and I couldn't be happier! I was so impressed, that the following week, I dropped off 2 more down comforters to be cleaned and am waiting for them to be finished and picked up in a few days! Once in a while, I'll go in and pick up the clothes that he's dropped off. For the most part he just has his shirts laundered. Since he's not willing to go anywhere else (and I don't want to be in charge of getting his clothing laundered or dry-cleaned as the case may) because he's a creature of habit, he goes here because it is conveniently on his route to and from work and happens to be on the correct side of the street for him. Those are his criteria for choosing a cleaners! The prices aren't a great "value." They currently charge $2.15 for a shirt to be laundered $4.50 for a shirt to be dry-cleaned, and the cost for a pair of slacks to be dry-cleaned is currently $4.75. If a clothing item has a spot or stain and it is not pointed out to the staff at the time of drop off, it will come back with that same spot or stain. I think that if you're paying for a service like dry-cleaning or laundry, it is good customer service for the professional to give the clothing items that are being dropped off a good once over to determine if there are any areas that need a little extra TLC. Additionally, although one of the owners (I think the person is an owner) seems to recognize my husband when he comes into the store, I am never recognize and neither one of us know any of the names of any of the people who work in the store. I would think that if a customer has been frequenting an establishment for four years that we would know their names and they would know ours. If I was in charge of the dry-cleaning and laundry, we'd probably be looking for another service provider - but as long as I'm willing to let my husband be in charge of this task, I guess will continue to use Valu-Clean.
