We had a pretty large job that included cleaning, rodent-proofing, sanitizing, and re-insulating our attic, as well as cleaning, rodent-proofing, sanitizing, re-running our ducting, and laying plastic in our crawlspace. It was a big project that took about a week, and they showed up on time every single day, checked in regularly, and worked hard throughout. Along the way, we discovered a pipe leak, which they fixed without issue. We also needed to reroute our dryer vent, and they handled that as well. Even with these unexpected additions, Eduardo stuck to his original quote, which we really appreciated. The quality of the work is excellent, and we are very happy with the results. On top of that, Eduardo is coming back in two weeks to make sure the rodent-proofing is fully effective. That level of follow-up and accountability really shows he stands behind his work. Overall, Eduardo went above and beyond. Fair pricing, high-quality work, a professional team, and great communication. We would absolutely recommend him.

I live in a townhome here in Daly City, and my awkward 'crawl space' above an upstairs bathroom was unused and was a waste of space. After multiple companies told me the space was too tight, Eduardo had the vision and willingness to make it work! Now I can easily access this nicely finished area, and they were prompt, on schedule and cleaned up nicely after themselves during installation. Even though it took a bit longer, Eduardo and team wasn't happy with the way the ladder trim looked and built someone that was far nicer. I hope to work with them on future projects - thanks Eduardo and tam!

I would say, they did an excellent job - Starting with Jeremy, who accommodated my schedule for preliminary inspect and gave me a on the spot quote. Elder and the guys did an excellent job in covering up the entire house and finished the job in 2 days. My house had no insulation in the walls- to very less in the attic. After the insulation my Heat as well as Cold is retained inside the house. Heat turns on once in a 24 Hr cycle vs multiple times in an hour previously. If you are thinking of in wall insulation, it's totally worth it. The quote was the most competitive and they were very flexible. I am still closing out the multiple holes in the wall, will take time as i prefer to do it myself- I had plans to paint anyway .

The addition of two QuietCool fans also seemed like a major plus, as I was already familiar with the product and expected it would significantly help with cooling. When it came to the insulation work, I was very pleased. The crew did an excellent job removing the old insulation and installing the new. They worked efficiently, protected my floors well, and ensured that no insulation debris entered the living areas. That part of the job was handled professionally. However, I was less impressed with the radiant barrier installation. This may partly be due to a misunderstanding on my end, as I expected a different type of material, but the end result did not meet my expectations. The biggest issue, unfortunately, was the installation of the fans. At best, it was very poorly executed. The fans are 16" units with 12" duct openings, yet they were installed directly against the gables, which severely restricts airflow. Proper installation should have included a box or shroud to help direct airflow effectively through the fans. Because of this poor airflow, the fans do not cool the attic--in fact, they appear to make things worse. I can actually watch the temperature on the thermostat increase when the fans are turned on. I reached out to my representative multiple times, but the response was disappointing. I was told they could not take the fans back, and when I asked why the attic temperature increases when they are running, I was told there was no explanation and nothing further could be done. As temperatures continue to rise, I'm left frustrated that I spent $1,200 on two fans that perform the opposite of what was promised, with no meaningful support or resolution offered. UPDATE: After posting my initial review, I was contacted by both the project manager and the owner. I reiterated the reasons for my frustration, explaining that my review reflected my honest impression of what I saw as a lack of clear communication and effective management of the project and customer expectations. The project manager apologized for the communication breakdown and asked if I would be open to giving them an opportunity to make things right. A technician was then sent out, and he took the time to fully understand the issue, carefully examine the installation, and make several adjustments to the original work. He believes these changes will help improve airflow in the attic. Since my attic has some unique characteristics, he also provided helpful suggestions for additional ways to improve cooling and airflow--something I feel should have been addressed during the initial planning stage of the project. Whether these changes will result in significant improvement remains to be seen; I'll have a better sense once the weather warms up. I do appreciate the follow-up and the willingness of the project manager to reach out and try to make things right, and I have updated my review accordingly. That said, I want to be clear that the increase in my rating is largely due to the technician and the time he invested in evaluating the full situation, as well as both implementing and proposing thoughtful solutions.

Pro Attic performed a complete attic cleanout, which included the removal of gravel and insulation. It was a very hard job; they managed it with a good attitude. After the attic electrical work was complete, Pro Attic Restoration returned and installed R-38 batt insulation, with expert care and attention. Luis supervised the job and made sure I understood the process. I read that the company also installs heat and water pumps. Luis answered questions I had about converting the furnace to a heat pump. He was knowledgeable and informative; I appreciated the information he shared. All in all, it was a great interaction. I love this family-owned company. Sherry

I hired this company to do the work on my house that was recommended in a home energy assessment…read morecompleted last year. Initially Alex Minaboo, the owner, came to look the job over and in that visit recommended replacing all the heating ducts in the house. He tried to sell me a heat pump system which I did not want to do since the existing furnace is only three years old. There was nothing in the home energy assessment report indicating I needed to replace the furnace or the ducts. A few weeks later, the foreman (I think that is his role) came by to assess the job, and said he did not think the ducts needed to be replaced as they were still quite new. I opted to not replace the ducts but to proceed with the air sealing of the heating system that was recommended in the home energy assessment. Alex later said the air sealing could cause a problem for the furnace, which he said was too large for this size house. He suggested that adding an additional heat register might mitigate a potential problem with rapid cycling, and I opted to do this. In the course of All Things Good sealing the heating ducts and adding the new register, the blower on the furnace stopped working. Alex deflected and denied responsibility for his company causing the problem, disparaged another company that had installed the furnace, and argued that his company could not be held responsible for damages when something breaks in an old house while they are working on it, referring me to a clause in their contract. To fix the furnace, All Things Good charged $1200.00 in labor costs (for a job that took no more than 2 hours on site) and the blower was about $700 more). I have always thought "if you break it, you fix it" and I was floored by how this was being handled, but since I do not know HVAC systems and could not in good conscience argue that I was certain the breakdown was caused by their work, I proposed we split the bill for fixing the furnace. My offer was refused. Alex then had the gall to argue he was already giving me a discount on labor costs, and threatened that if I did not pay he would put a lien on my house. I paid the bill because it was not worth my time to fight with All Things Good. I see a number of positive reviews here and at least one that is like mine. My experience was very unsatisfactory and I will certainly never use this company again.

The team was professional and fast and they went above and beyond in explaining the water heater and the app. They even installed a new light in my basement so they could complete the work, which is helpful to me as well. The office staff was also excellent and very responsive and helped me get all the rebates I was eligible for. Look no further, All Things Good is the team you need .

The estimator's in-person presentation was very good -- professional, clear, and well organized. The overall process was explained pretty well however I needed more info after he left. The one key issue for me was the R-rating and since R-value is a major factor in comparing insulation options, I wanted to understand exactly what was being installed. I tried to follow up with the estimator to get clarification and asked for a call back. While multiple emails were exchanged from what seemed to be the corporate end, there was no actual human interaction, and my request for the estimator to call back failed. Because of that lack of follow-through, I ultimately decided to go with another vendor who was more responsive. AttiCare made a good first impression, but communication after the initial visit failed. I wouldn't proceed without speaking to the estimator. They lost a job due to that.

On the day of my appointment, I received a text from their field technician, Samim, letting me know he was on his way and would arrive in 20 minutes -- and he did, right on time. He was polite, introduced himself professionally, and was wearing protective gear and shoe guards to keep our floors clean. He went up to inspect our attic and explained that, given how our roof ridges are constructed, a radiant barrier installation wouldn't provide much benefit. He showed me photos and walked me through the reasoning clearly. It's rare to find a company that's upfront and honest instead of trying to upsell you on something you don't need. Really appreciated the professionalism and integrity -- highly recommend!
