Called a few HERS raters and Jacob was the first to respond and was very nice to let me know what was needed before our inspection, since it's now compulsory for new renovations. Came on time, was respectful and wore a shoe cover to walk into the house. Had a few issues with Title24. But Sian did a lot on the paperwork to get it corrected. Showed up and left within 5min to the home I'm renting. When I asked him why did you leave after only 1min of me telling you I need to clear the space for you to enter the attic, he responded with we need to work right away. Do you expect people to just wait by the door until you arrive to immediately open the door? I got charged $75 to reschedule the appointment which he said is a joke to him and I should've been charged more. When he came back for the rescheduled appointment I asked him why did you leave even though I told you to give me 1min to get the kids out of the way? He said he waited 10min in the car. Make sure if you call this company to leave a key under the mat so they can come in your house immediately because they will leave asap if you don't open the door right away smh. read more

Our Landlord had a new HVAC system installed and had scheduled for Accurate HERS Ratings to test the new system. Sian scheduled our test for the following week. I had a same day issue come up during the time frame when the test was supposed to occur. Sian (and Jake) were great about working with me to reschedule later in the day. TIMELY, COMMUNICATIVE AND PROFESSIONAL I wish all contractors were this professional. Jacob, the owner, was very professional and helpful during our initial phone conversation and he was super responsive with a couple of follow-up calls I made to him. He either answered his phone or returned my call within an hour or so. On the day of my Hers testing appointment, he was running about 20 minutes late because of traffic, but he called in with plenty of advance notice so I was not inconvenienced in the least. Once he arrived, he was efficient and got the testing done within the time frame promised. There was some follow-up govt regulatory paperwork that I had to initiate as the homeowner and Jacob stepped me through the process. He then finished up his portion of the paperwork later that evening and sent me what I needed to get my building inspection finalized. Recently I had my HVAC system, both the furnace and AC units replaced, and my contractor referred me to Accurate Hers Ratings for the required certification. Sian in their office called me to schedule the appointment for the inspection for which their staff would come to my home between 9 and 10 a.m. The morning of the inspection Jacob called me to give me an update on exactly what time he and his co-worker, Jay, would be arriving, which was helpful; and they arrived within the scheduled time frame. Jacob and Jay were very friendly, respectful (they wore shoe coverings while in my home, which I greatly appreciated!!), and professional. After introductions, they got right to work performing their inspection while answering my questions patiently while they worked. They were at my home for about an hour. Jacob emailed me the completed, signed certificates by 12 noon, that same day. I was very impressed! They were so nice - a pleasure to deal with.. they were super conscientious- wearing shoe coverings, taking care not to step on furniture and generally being super accommodating, kind and easy to deal with. Accurate Hers Ratings employee needs to learn how to drive! This morning in the Sacramento area, Feb 26, I saw their Prius (with company logo) nearly cause a major accident on the freeway. The Prius driver recklessly cut in front of another car, came within inches of hitting it. The other driver had to swerve into the shoulder to avoid a bad accident. We all could have been in a huge pile up. How can this company employ someone that careless? Their sloppy driving has to be a reflection of the quality of their work. I can't say enough about Jacob and Accurate HERS. Rebuilding our home after the 2017 fires, with a contractor that we had to fire (who is now being investigated) we had to work our own way toward permit approval. We also wanted solar with backup battery, given the propensity of PGE to shut off power, and had to work our way through that process as well, including the Sonoma Clean Power requirements for energy grants. One of your drivers INTENTIONALLY tried to run me off the road and cause an accident this morning around 7:45am on eastbound highway 50 in Sacramento! It is pouring down rain here with poor visibility (or I would have caught up and gotten a license number). They were riding my bumper about a foot or two behind me (half in the fast lane & half on the shoulder) for a good distance before enough space opened up in the next lane. Once there, they squeezed in between myself & the car in front of me & braked. I had to pull onto the shoulder to avoid hitting him!
