Definitely going to have to keep this company in my back pocket if I ever have any electricity issues... So I woke up around a week ago with a frig that had no light on when I went to try and get water. I started checking things in the frig and found 2 outlets not working. Then I found 2 more outlets in the Living Room that also were out. Everything else in the house was fine though. I reset the breakers and GFI switches. Nothing worked. So we rushed to get as much refrigerator and freezer stuff to a friend's house. But we needed an electrician. How could only part of the house be out of power like this? Monday I looked for a quote on Yelp. Never have tried before but within minutes a bunch of companies messaged me. Bayside Electric was one of them. Not only did they respond to me within an hour on Yelp, they also called and left a Voicemail. I talked to someone named Kaylee I think and she gave me the good news that someone might be able to come out in the afternoon. She wanted to call me back and double check to be sure. But within the hour, she called me back and an appointment for that same day was set. She also informed me of the rates beforehand. Chris was the gentleman who fixed our problem. He was super kind and professional when he arrived. He came with bags on his shoes to not track dirt in the house. He fixed our issue within minutes and educated me on the issue. Basically one of our breakers burned out so he just ended up replacing it. He also gave me two other scenarios, one being cleaning out the whole circuit breaker or the other option of completely replacing it. But never once did he ever feel like anything was dire. You know how you go to typical auto shops or even dealership and they make you seem like your car is not going to run the next day unless you get whatever they recommend fixed? Chris never did any scare tactics to make me seem like we were in trouble. It was so refreshing. When I mentioned that he said its because Bayside Electric was like his previous employer. Family owned so they aren't ever pressured to make sales on every service call. They are just there to help. So yea thats my story. If you are having any electrical issues this holiday, I highly recommend Bayside Electric. I can always get behind a company that doesn't want to treat their customers like a number. read more

Chris was great. Explained what he was going to do and the results. Very professional.

Alex is extremely knowledgeable on what is needed to install a Tesla wall connector. I was thoroughly pleased with his professionalism and quick work - the install was flawless. Bayside electric and Alex have earned my loyalty for future electrical work. read more

This is the third job that Bayside has done for me in my home. This time Alex replaced some old fluorescent can lights in the kitchen and bath for LED and did an awesome job! I like that they will give you a reasonable quote for small jobs and get them done correctly- and they have great customer service too! read more

Michael, our assigned tech was fantastic. I purchased new pool and spa light to be installed. He gave a reasonable and fair quote. I am so happy with the results. Bayside has been our go-to electricians and they never have never let us down. Thanks, Michael and thanks Bayside. read more

We are wanting to add a refrigerator to our garage. Unfortunately the only outlet in the area where we want to put the refrigerator was a 220 volt, commonly used for an electric vehicle. The original idea was to convert the outlet to a 110. Alex arrived within the agreed upon time frame, planning to just give a quote. He gave another option. One he ended up completing in the same visit. He created a new outlet from the electrical on the other side of the wall. He was professional and efficient. He gave us a veteran discount, being a veteran himself. We would call upon them again. read more

I had a couple home improvement electrical upgrades I wished to have done. I contacted a few local businesses for estimates and was very impressed with Mike from Bayside Electric that came out and did the estimate. Knowledgeable and friendly (great combo) I knew I would go with them. They even gave me a military discount which I always appreciate, not just for the savings but because they support our military. I cannot be happier with the work they did (Mike was also the technician that came out and did the work). As a former manager of a little over 100 people I always strove to provide the best service and experience to our customers and definitely saw that demonstrated by Bayside Electric's professionalism and customer service. Thank you and I look forward to a couple more home improvement projects I hope to do in the future. read more

Usually when I leave a yelp review it's for a restaurant but I felt compelled to give a review to these folks since I called 5 different electricians and these guys were by far the most reasonable for a recess lighting job we had in the son's bedroom. Joel was awesome and he did great work. The lights are amazing. He was knowledgeable and efficient and man it's nice to get someone who is pretty happy about being at your house to do the work. I am impressed with the work, clean up, respect for customer, and overall quality of the work. We will be calling them again for future work! It's nice when your most reasonable estimate does great work and you're not sacrificing quality for cost. Great job Joel! Thank you again. read more

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Mike was super professional, honest, and friendly. In addition, the price was very reasonable. Mike fixed a wiring job in our ceiling that the previous person had completely botched. We will definitely use Bayside again in the future! read more

As another reviewer has stated, "The customer service has definitely gone down and prices have skyrocketed since Joe left Bayside Electric. If anyone knows where he is working now, PLEASE let me know." Sometimes companies grow and not for the better. The new technicians are less pleasant and whoever they have answering their service calls could certainly benefit from training as to how to treat their clients with more professionalism and courtesy. I probably used Bayside Electric services on more than a dozen occasions in the past, but I won't be using them again. And please also ignore the owner's response. He is basing this on what he was told by the office manager who threatened me, was extremely unprofessional, and was more than rude. read more

My family and I had a wonderful experience with Bayside Electric! My sister and I bought my parents a floodlight/security camera for the front of their house and had no clue how to install it on our own. I reached out to Bayside Electric and was referred to contact Joe. Joe came over the next day after I called him. Lucky for us, they had a cancellation, so Joe was able to contact two co-workers (I can't remember their names right now) who came over and installed the floodlight on my parent's home that same day! They worked quickly, yet efficiently and installed it in no time! I'm very impressed with their professionalism, friendliness, pricing, and work ethic! Thank you guys so much! My family and I will definitely reach out to Bayside Electric for any electrical needs for our homes! read more

The customer service has definitely gone down and prices have skyrocketed since Joe left Bayside Electric. If anyone knows where he is working now; PLEASE let me know. I called Bay Electric 2 yrs ago for an estimate on stringing patio lights. It took only one phone call to schedule an appointment. Joe came out, explained the scope of the work involved. He did an amazing job and the price was fair. Joe installed 5 posts and strung 49ft of my lights, using lights I proved and their hardware for a total of $1000.00. I was super satisfied with the entire experience. I love their work so much that I called them back a few weeks ago to have 24 ft of the same lights restrung that were removed during our pool construction. No new hardware, lights or cable would be needed. Unlike the first experience; I had to call 4 times to make an appointment. They rarely answer the phone and do not return calls promptly. There is a message stating you can call a field rep for immediate assistance; however when I called him; he asked why I was calling him directly and not the office and said he would have the office to call me back- that never happen. This is also when I found out that Joe was no longer with the company. I should have recognized the red flags and moved along. But I didn't because my past experience was wonderful and priced fairly. Boy, was that a mistake. Their quote for adding one additional post and 24ft of same lights without any new wire, hardware or cable was a whooping $800.00 How do you go from $1000.00 to hang 49ft of lights, add 5 posts, include new hardware, new cable and labor to a whooping $800.00 to hang 24ft lights, add 1 post and no new hardware, or cable I wish I could have given zero stars for attempting to rip me off- Bayside Electric shame on you! read more

The service and communication was perfect. We replaced our entire dated panel and it came out perfect. They set up all the inspection with the city and shut off from PGE. Really happy with the attentiveness to details and explanation of the process. Highly recommend using Bay. read more

We had Bayside Electric install some new recessed lighting throughout our house . As well as new switches . The electrician (Andruw), who did our installation, suggested that we install dimmer switches . I would have never known about these, had he not suggested them. They are such a nice added feature! We love our new lights. Andruw is very professional. He exhibits a lot of pride in his work and truly stives to please his customers. We would highly recommend Bayside Electric. Thank you, Andruw, for your professionalism and quality work! read more

I want to thank Mike at Bayside. We had a small issue getting the County's final inspection to pass, however Mike took care of all the issues and we passed the final. It is more important what a company does when there is a problem, than if everything goes right. Thanks again Mike. . read more

Joe came out and quickly assessed our electric outlet for our dryer. He gave us a courtesy reminder call while he was in route which I loved, wore a mask, and worked efficiently. We will continue to use Bayside Electric if we ever encounter any more electrical issues. read more

Tyreece and his crew installed multiple outlets, recessed lighting, and outlets in my gazebo. They did a wonderful job and the work is very professional, neat, and tidy. They answered all my questions efficiently. Communication is key when hiring contractors and they exceeded my expectations. I received email/text confirmations and updates on every action from start to finish. I highly recommend Bayside Electric for any of your electrical needs and I plan on using them in the future. read more

Excellent work. Joe came out and gave me the estimate. We approved it through e-mail. About 10 days later Joe came to our house and completed all work within 3 hours. I watched him work and he moved quickly and accurately. If Joe is a sample of their employees then they are truly craftsman. Joe ran a circuit for an electric plug in the bathroom, replaced two in ceiling lamps with one central lamp. Looks great! He also did some other electric work. Bayside electric is my go to electrician. I recommend it be yours. read more

You know you are in good hands when the utility company employee recommends Joe from Bayside electric! I'm a DIY'r, so I almost wasn't surprised when my lights began flickering and dimming after I installed my dining room light fixture. I did a little bit of research and found Bayside electric, being the only company having only 5 Star reviews, I decided on giving them a call. Joe came out and I knew exactly what the problem was, apparently my 200a breaker was going out and parts were scarce, considering I have a dinosaur of an electrical box. Joe was able to complete the work in no time, and the price was decent; Joe was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable! He also recommended that I upgrade my electrical box at some point in time, which I'll definitely be doing though Bayside Electric when the time comes. If you have any electrical needs this is definitely the only place you should be contacting! read more

Had to replace some CFL recessed ceiling lights with LEDs. Bayside responded to my contact right away and scheduled quickly, then called when enroute. Arrived wearing masks. Efficiently did the requested work. Very courteous and professional. Price was very fair. Great company to work with. Will definitely call them again for any electrical work. Highly recommend. read more

Bayside Electric is my go to for all my electrical needs. The owners are involved in the work and are in the loop with the teams work. They respond timely to questions. Everyone on the team is professional and knowledgeable. Newer team member know when to call the boss for help and Info, which I appreciate. I'd rather have them ask up versus do something not 100% on and risk electrical issues. They have always arrived early; I've never been kept waiting for someone to show up. I've used them a few times already and they will be the only ones I call for future electrical needs. read more

We needed a 220 outlet for our dryer after we moved into out home. Joe came out and gave us a very fair quote with a much better and cleaner install description then another bid. Definitely having them come out when I need lighting and outlets done in the garage next. read more

5 stars for Joe for coming out this morning to install my dining room chandelier. I set up this appointment on Tuesday and was super happy to be scheduled so fast. Faulty/old wall outlet melted my appliance plug and scorched the plug. Did a 400A service upgrade and got 7 estimates. Bayside was one of the cheaper quotes. Joe did the quote and the work along with 2 assistants. I ran the PGE application, permit and inspection process which was interesting to say the least. On the day of the work, Joe showed up at 6:30am! The crew worked fast and professionally. The inspector came early so he only gave us the meter release, which was enough to get reconnected back with PGE and get power back. I had final signoff the next day! Bayside and Joe were fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, professional, cleaned up after the job and the price was fair and reasonable for the people, time and materials. I would highly recommend Joe and Bayside and will use them again!!!! read more

Joe and Eduardo just completed installing six can lights in our kitchen. What a huge difference! They were on time, friendly, very knowledgeable, and made quick work of taking down the old lights and the frame surrounding them (see picture) and installing the new lights. They patched up the damaged sheet rock from taking down the old lights and cleaned up the work area after they were done. Joe even gave me a lesson in light efficiency--all this at an unbeatable price. I could not be happier! Bayside has earned a customer for life. We just had Bayside Electric do 2 different jobs for us. They arrived the same day I called, found the problem and had it repaired the same day. The second time I called for service it was found my electrical panel had a partially burned circuit. Because I've owned my home for 33 years I decided to have the whole electrical panel box replaced. They were spot on courteous, efficient, and very reasonable. We we're very please with their service. I highly recommend this business to handle your electrical needs!! read more

Bayside Electric's Joe is fantastic. Courteous, friendly, professional, and prompt. Had a tenant situation in Moraga where the tenant said the outlets in bathrooms weren't working. She can't manage to reset it, so Joe went out there to inspect it and reset it. But since the outlets were old anyway, I had him change it out. Joe was work to work with. Future electrical problems, I'm not Yelping others anymore..i'm just going to call Joe. Thanks Joe! read more

Now that PG&E is going to possibly be turning our power off for days at a time due to the new Wildfire Safety Program I wanted to have a generator transfer switch installed. Not sure who to call I decided to look on Yelp to see who others were using in the Fairfield area. After calling and speaking to Joe with Bayside Electric he said "let me swing by you house and look at your panel and I'll give you a call from there" (since I was at work). Sure enough a few hours later I got a call from Joe saying he was looking at my panel and they could do it no problem. He scheduled me an appointment for a few days away for between 7 am and 8 am. Joe showed up at about 7:05 am in a very nicely equipped vehicle that was clean with the all the necessary tools and went to work. It took him about an hour or so to install the transfer box. His previously quoted price he gave over the phone was very, very fair and made me feel like I had an honest person on my hands that wasn't out to gouge the homeowner. The overall installation looks very clean and tidy and I couldn't be happier with not having to run electrical cords from my generator into the house. All I have to do now is turn off my main breaker (so I don't back feed the electrical grid and possibly harm a PG&E worker), hook up the generator with the new heavy duty electrical cord to the transfer switch and start it up. Since I don't have to run extension cords through open windows I don't have to worry about the exhaust from the generator getting into the house and possibly poisoning us with Carbon Monoxide. Also since I ordered a 40 ft. power cord I can have the generator far enough away from the house so that the Carbon Monoxide won't enter the house via the eves of the house where it can get into your attic and slowly seep into the house over time. I'm sure once word gets out for what PG&E has in store for us starting in 2019 others are going to be jumping on board with wanting transfer switches installed. If you are one of those people I highly, highly recommend Bayside Electric. The overall vibe I received is that it is all about the customer and that is rare in this day and age. Thank you Joe and Bayside Electric for an amazing job. You are going to be my go to electricians from this point forward. read more
