The women at the office were very helpful and able to help me easily. Nate arrived bright and early at 8am. He was very thorough in discussing possible options with me. He even went up into the attic. When I mentioned we recently moved in and am not very familiar with the house yet he was incredibly helpful asking if I have any additional electrician questions! That's really going above and beyond! Value wise they are very competitive! The other quote I got was $500 and $700 depending on if there was an existing fan that's simply replaced or an all new install. Skylight Electrical Services was recommended by Chad Tobin "The Blind Butler" because we are having electrical shades installed on our back patio by his business. Skylight electricians Frankie and Jason came out and installed 2 separate outdoor outlets from our attic (it was a pretty warm day too and I'm sure it was hot in the attic) which made it look clean, no conduit running on the outside of our new home. They were prompt, clean uniforms and friendly. I enjoyed talking with these two young men as they finished up. They did excellent work! They made sure to laydown a floor cover when they accessed the attic with their ladder and they picked up all the packing material etc. before leaving. Skylight Electrical Services did an exceptional job changing out our kitchen lights. Luis Robles showed his professional knowledge replacing the fluorescent lights with recessed lights. He was assisted by Joel throughout the process. The placement of the lights transformed our kitchen dramatically, making it appear bigger! The large cavity in the ceiling that housed the old lights was nicely covered, and blended well with the rest of the ceiling. They protected the work area from top to bottom. We have been having problems with some of our outlets and saw the Skylight truck at a traffic light. Contacted them and we set up an appointment for the next work day. I woke up with an electrical noises emanating from my wall on a Sunday. Skylight showed up Monday morning with masks on. I told them the household was fully vaccinated and that they did not have to wear their mask which they replied that it was company policy and kept their mask on. I called Pierce Electric at 10:30 am this morning to get my mother-law's stove with a 50 amp. stove…read more4 plug receptacle with grounding wire installed in an emergency. I explained that my mother-in-law was a senior citizen and was very concerned about not having her stove for cooking now and before Thanksgiving. I was given a window of 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. At approximately 1:45 pm we received a knock at the door, and it was Andres the Pierce Electric technician. That's all it took and the receptacle was installed quickly, and professionally, which put my mother-in-law at ease. The troubleshooting and evaluation of what needed to be done was quick and efficient by Andres, and the communication from Laura was exceptional. How you do small things with care, often shows how you pay attention and care about the big things. My hats off to a business that is run right in this day and age! He offered the first available date and time and quoted his charges. The second vendor that responded requested that I call them - I thought that was what I was doing. The third did not respond. I went with Taurus, we agreed on a time and he confirmed the appointment. Steve arrived right on time. He asked if wearing his shoes in the house was ok? He went right to work. He explained what happened and what needed to be replaced. He didn't try to sell me anything extra and I even asked if one of the other outlets that he didn't replace needed it and he said no. He was in and out in 45 minutes. He was efficient, respectful and professional. I will definitely be using him for any future electrical needs.
