Oh let me count the ways why one should not walk - rather RUN - from this half-baked Mickey Mouse operation! 171 minutes on phone (their phone tree to get a human; let alone a competent one; is among the worst I've ever experienced). Placed initial order several weeks ago and once I received the invoice - it was WRONG. Trying to cancel the order was a goat rope that led to two days of emails and phone calls and just utter incompetence! Alas - enter stage right - a very "helpful" manager who implored me to remove my Google Review and promised to severely discount a new order (which he did) if I would give SD Wheels another opportunity to earn my business. I should have listened to my own gut instinct and stayed far far away..... 9 days later (clearly shipping is not among their skill sets either - but no worries, they are blaming COVID and Holidays like everyone else - despite in stock items)! Thank you Jeff Bezo's for showing us that CUSTOMER service and supply chain competence DOES exist. Alas, the day came for delivery and install. Not one....rather TWO.....of the long awaited Voxx wheels were opened with significant damage! I give up. Another two hours of waiting for an RMA to UPS them back - only to be jerked around. Had to contact Voxx Wheels directly to get the RMA that sat in SD Wheel's inbox for over an hour. Bottom line up front - CONSIDER other vendors. This place is clearly not ready to sell paper bags let alone custom wheels/tires! Refund finally initiated today. And they would lead you to believe that they've done me a great favor. My contribution is warning others. RUN.....RUN FAR FAR AWAY from this outfit. You will save time; money; and frustration as a result! **UPDATED: And from the lengthy plethora of excuses listed below remember - 171 minutes of hold time and calls; two and half weeks of wasted shipping time/delays (but plenty of excuses to complement the "why"; Any discerning consumer should be able to read between the lines here. The reps offer the best prices and quick shipping and then two associates failed to assist with price matching other high feedback sellers. I contacted company to alert management of issue. I was placed with Zach and while the initial contact did not go well due to his personal emergency time off, in the end he came thru and really made the experience correct. He became the personal and my only contact until tires we delivered this week. My initial review was 1 Star and feeling company did not truly offer what it offers in writing and on their website. Where do I start with my fiasco? On the initial order I inputted my OEM specs and I was given a multitude of sizes that supposedly fit my car. Well when the delivery came the tires & wheels would never fit my Kia Stinger. So I had to have the tires pulled off and mounted on new tires they sent which took me off the free financing package. I had the new tires mounted on the wheels and go to install and no center wheel rings. I come to find out that's a special order item which I've NEVER encountered with a wheel company before. Then the front tires weren't wide enough for the wheels they sold me. I was essentially told that was my fault and I should of consulted their pro reps. Unfortunately nobody answers their phone at SD and granted during Covid but nonetheless nobody answers. So to sum up this clusterpluck, wrong tire size 2x, no hub washers, poor customer service and everything was my fault. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

If you're interested in lifting your truck, definitely reach out to SD Garage for a quote. There are other garages in my area which specialize in modifying vehicles, but I chose to drive 40 miles to have SD Garage work on my truck, and it was a great experience. JJ, the Director of SD Garage, helped me choose through many options, to get the setup that I was envisioning for my 2012 F-150. He helped explain the details of offset, wheel/tire options, and the details of the BDS Lift that I chose. Their quote is better than any other shop that I've approached, and I have to imagine their work is on-par, if not better than other shops. A year after the install, I did have an issue that needed to be addressed. I wasn't clear on the terms of the warranty, because I didn't receive anything in writing at the time of the original installation; I was verbally explained that if there are any issues, reach out to SD Garage and they'll take care of it. Not having any warranty details in writing caused some confusion during the process of getting the issue fixed, but in the end, JJ helped me out. If you choose to go with SD Garage for an install, I recommend asking about the details of their warranty, and getting the information in writing if possible. It will help alleviate any confusion, in case you need to have them address any issue down the line. Bottom Line: Contact SD Garage if you're interested in a lift. They do a great job. *Note* I recently learned that SD Garage is a separate entity from SD Wheel, but there is a relation between the two companies; I'm not entirely clear on the details. I couldn't find SD Garage on Yelp!, so I'm leaving the review with SD Wheel. read more

First of all don't use this company! I bought wheels from sd wheel sensors and lugs. Wasn't told they were on back order for a week or so. So i called was on hold and then hung up on had to call back. Finally got through after over a hour. Changed wheels to something in stock. Still took over 3 weeks to get the wheels. After receiving wheels i didn't get the tire pressure monitoring system. Tried to e-mail no response. Had to call again same thing happen this time was on hold and then hung up on had to call back. Waited another week for the sensors. At this point i thought i was good to go. I was wrong. Went to get tires mounted that went fine put two wheels on car went to put third wheel on couldn't because had 10 lug nuts where the wrong size. I placed an order over a month ago after receiving wheel set one wheel came considerably damaged and another with some slight damage. I emailed them immediately after I received my set, I was told they would ship another wheel to replace the more damaged wheel and offer me a credit on the other. I've been dealing with this issue and trying to get my replacement for over 2 weeks and still haven't gotten a solid answer on when I will receive my replacement wheel nor my credit, the "specialist" helping resolve my issue barely even takes the time to email me back I literally have to send multiple emails to get the simplest of answers that really sound like the beating around the bush read more

I can't believe the reviews when the interaction I received between Chris @Sales and JJ turned out to be a complete and utter waste of my time. I received from Chris a quote on tires and rims (turns out quote he gave me included the wrong tire specs that would not work from my truck- I found that out after the fact from a competitor) and he said I could certainly go to the new location in Batavia and meet with JJ for him to pull a sample of the Rim I was interested in to make sure that was what I wanted. Turns out when I got to Batavia, JJ was no where to be found via phone or at the office. I by chance happened to see a guy walking around the parking lot after I attempted to call him (JJ), as well as Chris (no answer no response).. I approached the man in the parking lot and asked if he knew JJ, he responded with "yeah that's me." I explained Chris sent me that I was one of chris' s customers, and JJ replied back as if irritated, " we don't have time to show customers sample wheels and ee don't do that anymore". He also contnued with that they are way too busy to help and to just look at pictures online. I was shocked! I then also left more messages for Chris, unanswered wondering why he would waste my time to drive out there for nothing and to be told to just look online. I cannot believe that these people are so willing to just throw away a customer like they did. I was going to spend thousands of dollars , but apparently that is not enough to spend with them to make me worth their time. Whether you are spending thousands or hundreds it should not matter, customer service should always be first. I recently purchased a Escalade ESV with aftermarket Fuel 22 inch wheels installed on it. The spare that came with the vehicle had a rusted out 17" wheel that was unuseable. I did not want to spend a minimum of $465.00 for a new matching Fuel 22" rim to just store it under the vehicle as a spare. I looked for many months and no single used rims were available anywhere. Then SD Wheel listed a slightly blemished fuel wheel that was a 22 inch wheel that was the correct bolt pattern to fit my vehicle. The blemish was a surface scrape on the wheel. This was fine for my use as a spare. I decided to take a chance and purchase the wheel not knowing if the wheel might have additional flaws affecting the wheel such as being bent or possibly not being able to balance the wheel. The price of $70.00 including shipping for a scraped wheel that normally sells for a minimum of $465.00 seemed too good to be true. The wheel arrived and appeared to only have the surface scrape as described. I had a tire mounted on the wheel and had it balanced. Then put it on my truck as a front wheel and took it for a test drive. It performed perfectly at all speeds tested. I was contacted by a representative from SD Wheel thanking me for my purchase immediately after I bought the wheel and then contacted again after the wheel was delivered to make sure that their were no problems with the shipment or the wheel. This company showed me that they care about the customer and their business transactions. And they were completely open and honest about the true condition of the wheel. Plus on top of that I saved a minimum of $395.00 while accomplishing my goal of obtaining a spare tire and wheel the same size as the 22 inch aftermarket wheels on my vehicle. I am very happy with every aspect of this transaction and wholeheartedly recommend SD Wheel to anyone considering making a purchase from this company. read more
