The staff here define the definition of customer service. They helped me choose what I was looking for, took my items to the fitting room and had it marked with my name. I went and was greeted with the sweet fitting room assignee. She was great and checked in with me multiple times (and others) while fitting my clothes. I asked about the notorious belt bags and she snagged me one in black! I was shining as bright as some of the colors the store offers in items. I also noticed that many merchandise displays looked picked over, and there was visible dirt and debris on the floors. With the store being relatively quiet and multiple team members available, I expected more attention to both customer engagement and overall presentation. I know lululemon is known for exceptional hospitality and creating an elevated shopping experience, which is why this visit was disappointing. The store has great potential, and I hope future visits better reflect the level of service and attention to detail that the brand is known for.

As the clothing in my arms grew, an associate came and offered to start a room for me. I was helped by 2 sales associates who continually checked up on me and helped me find the sizes I needed. When it came to check out, I asked if they would honor the 60% off sale that I saw online. They couldn't do that, but Kelsey helped me get a coupon for an additional 20% off of the original 50% off everything. I ended up walking away with 10 items for just over $200! What a steal! It's safe to say the Eastgate South location does not measure up. I walked through the store gathering things I wanted to try on, no one offered a fitting room. There were three sales associates chatting behind the counter. Finally someone was told by a manager to go ask if I needed a room, she did not take the clothes from me and start a room, I had to walk back there, hang everything up myself and then return to my shopping. While trying on clothes, no one checked to see if I needed another size. Every Torrid store I've shopped in previously always started a room for me right away and took the clothes back and always checked on me in the room. All sales associates seemed very grumpy and acted like helping customers was a burden. I spent over $500 and did not feel like I got the service that goes with pricey clothing.

Afterwards, you can reorder using your online account. You only need to go to the store to pick out different clothes or get fitted for a different size and fit. At this particular location, the hardest part of shopping was finding parking. Once in the store, shopping is a breeze. I was assisted by Emily and Hannah who were both excellent stewards of the company - friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. This isn't a place to go if you need some last-minute business or business-casual attire but it's an excellent choice if you can wait 2-3 days to have the clothes arrive at your house.
