Have I never left a review... How odd of me... This place js amazing and has so much to offer and so much of it is gluten free!!!! (Why its odd I didn't do a review yet) From pancakes to fried chicken strips, it can be gluten free!!! Large portions. Freshly cooked. You can tell! Fresh cut French fries are the best! Love that its around the corner from me.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Lunch on a Friday at 1:00 pm and this place is busy but has plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]No outside seating is available and I wouldn't recommend for a group.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cozy and comfortable diner that is locally and family owned.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the fried chicken, fries and slaw for $19.00. Choose between dark, white or mixed meat battered in a slightly sweet batter. The slightly sweet batter didn't cover all of the chicken which was disappointing but the skinless chicken was moist. The thick cut fries aren't crispy more like a baked potato texture but good. The garlic bread was thick and fresh with the perfect amount of butter. Great friendly service.

I had the breakfast which was made specific to my requests. My husband had the chicken and he raved about it Juicy, well cookee, crispy outide. Server was sassy and fun!

What a find. Don't drive by. You will miss one of the best home cooked meals you ever had out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Looks like your coming into someone's house to get something to eat. Sit anywhere the family will be right with you.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Home cooking at it's best. 20 year old chilli recipe worth all those years of waiting for you find it. Sweet honey cornbread baked on premise. A little kick to the chilli but nothing that will over power you. Kind of like Goldilocks and the three alarm chilli. Just right. Service is super attentive bunch of grand moms runni g around making sure you are taking care of. Heaping portions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Meat a bunch of regulars and become one of the family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once you stop you will stop back. The food is that good. Nothing fancy just home cooking right from grandmoms kitchen. Next time the chicken or maybe breakfast for sure. Served all day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Off the beaten path but like a lighthouse of good eats calling you in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Stop by and become a regular

Huckleberry pancakes

Fantastic! We've been here 3 times and I keep meaning to write about it, but the food coma gets me every time If you're looking for healthy, keep walkin'. At the Screamin' Chicken, you're gonna eat well, rich and you will go home FULL and possibly with a box! Portions are heapin'. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small restaurant with about 10 tables and the largest one seats 6. Its decorated with... you guessed it, lots and lots of chickens! Chicken art in every size, shape, form and medium[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The food is delicious. We haven't found a dish that we didnt like. Everything has been homemade and tastes like 'Nana Mirtle' is in the kitchen making it! By far, my fav is the Chicken, Chicken fried steak. It's a lightly breaded chicken breast that is fried to perfection. It's lightly breaded and super super moist. Not pounded out to span the entire plate. It was a nice thick breast coated in a crispy batter, not breadcrumb. And it was not oily.. Then its topped with a really good white gravy that is in between traditional gravy and alfredo sauce. I opted for the buttery, creamy grits that are more like polenta than southern grits. My daughter had the huckleberry pancakes and my husband had the biscuits and gravy. Both also really delicious! Staff is real nice. We met the owner today and she's a real spitfire! Good vibes all around! Can't say anything but good things about this place! Dont forget to get a punch card. 10th meal is free!

I love this place. Great service, great food. It's what you'd expect from a small town diner as far as menu items (imagine Sharis or Denny's but food that actually tastes good). It tastes home cooked and served with a smile. The Denver Omelette here is great anytime of the day! The roadkill is also great.

Do not let the old building scare you off. This place has nice friendly service and good ol' fashioned home cooking.

Went here with my aunt and was not disappointed! Needed to find somewhere sit down that wasn't…read moreeither too noisy or too crowded and came across this gem. Food wasn't bad so I'll definitely be back! There were a few micro charges that we didn't even think about when ordering (whipped cream on milkshake, 0.50 or some odd cents for tartar sauce) but otherwise it was a very pleasant experience. As someone who usually hates sauerkraut the Reuben was actually enjoyable which was a surprise to me. The place really captures the diner feel inside and out, I'm excited to try different menu options in the future.

We happen to stop by the Blue Moon diner in Beaverton, it's a classic 50's old school diner next to…read morethe Planet Fitness off of TV HWY and 198th. As you walk in you are taken back to the 50's , from the floors to the decor. They have various booth style and table seating options. The staff were very friendly. We were seating quickly. They have a very ample menu. I was a little taken back by the pricing of the breakfast. Most meals were over 12 dollars, some standard meals as much as 24 dollars for a breakfast. I ordered a scrambled, it had eggs, veggies, cheese and potato's and jalapeños. It was a very large portion of food. My son had a pancake with eggs and bacon, he did not eat the rest of his bacon he said it had an odd taste. I would share that they have a huge menu with many options. The food quality was ok, probably not be back but it seems like they have a good following of customers.
