I normally don't give a review unless I have been to a place multiple times, but this place was great! Super friendly staff that were super accommodating to our party of 5 (with 3 kids) - even when we spilled a whole cup of chocolate milk on the floor! Food was super delicious! We are thinking they may even make their own butter and chips? Everything tastes like it was made in- house. Definitely try those sweet cream pancakes too!

We absolutely loved their breakfast!! Friendly staff! I had the pancakes with sausage links, which the links were the best I had ever had. My husband had the biscuit and gravy which he loved as well. You can tell the biscuits were homemade. Loved all the historic art and decor they had of their town. If you are staying at Spirit Mountain or passing through, definitely stop by and support small communities. We will definitely stop by again on our way to the beach!

Finally, dining in at Coyote Joe's, pretty laid back and looks safe enough.

Well for our first visit to a restaurant in three months, we ended up here kind of in the middle of no where, which is just perfect! A great town to stop into as everyone was friendly, like really happy to see people again... Coyote Joe's had great spaced out seating, sanitizer everywhere, and they were busy with to go orders... we felt very safe. This was not a GF or vegan kind of place, if you're on a special diet maybe not your kind of place either. Since I had been so tired of cooking, I went with a gut bomb and tots... The Location: A little Twin Peaks but but very nice, kept looking for the log lady. The Menu: how do you pull that off, huge menu. The Food: About what you would expect, great simple cooking. The Staff: Sooooo NICE! everyone was working their tails off. We will return, hope this place never changes, I know they have a lot of stories to tell.

Rarely eat pancakes cause I'm always watching my carbs, but ordered the egg bacon and cake. So glad I did. Very good sweet cream pancake.

My friend and I walked in on Wednesday for their wine Wednesday special, when walking in I let the host know it would be 2 which she replied with they were busy and it would be a wait. I asked how long, she said 30 minutes, which we where okay with, I noticed she had a wait list, but decided not to put us on until I asked if she could, she was hesitant, but did so either ways. We walked around the checked out the lake, once 30 minutes had passed we never got a call, so we waited another 15 and decided to go and check if they were ready for us. Once arriving the host said they where still busy with reservations, and that they only had an hour left before closing Which I said that's fine we'll just wait here, It was very obvious she didn't want to sit us. a lady behind us had just arrived and asked to be put on the list since she had heard we where on it. Her wait was only 10 minutes. Once sat it took the server a while to get to us. We sat with no water for 10 minutes the rest of the experience was awful. Although the food was good and I had always had a good experience before it was the last time I went. This review took me months to post but I guess it really doesn't matter since they are now closed.

We got here on a Friday right before the lunch rush which was perfect. We had 4 adults and 3 kiddos…read more(all under 6). We sat in the upper area just behind the bar, which was fairly empty at the time. Probably a smart move by the waitress, keep the kids a bit isolated haha! It was nice, there are big windows letting lots of light in, tall ceilings with dark wood beams, and everything feels worn and comfortable. They haven't leaned too heavily into any particular theme for this place. Yes, there is fishing gear and memorabilia (hence the name) and local historical pictures and such. But they didn't over do any of it in any obnoxious way. I enjoyed the fish/crab pots re-purposed as tall tables. Anywho, we ordered for the kids first because they were positively wilting away from hunger, at least that's how they made it seem. The kids menu was so cute. If your kid says "I don't know" to asking them what they want, then they got let's say - mac and cheese. If they said "I don't like that", then they got a corn dog. (I'm not certain if those were the exact items they got for those responses but that's the gist - it was very cute). I ordered the turkey BLT, except without the T (I'm not a fan) and a Tumalo Cider. I was nervous that the focaccia might be stale but it was soft and easy to eat. My picture doesn't seem to do it justice, it was a sizable sandwich. The turkey was carver's cut and bacon was thick. I enjoyed the pesto immensely, instead of the usual condiments. It was a very good sandwich. The cider was delicious as well, very little carbonation which I prefer. Our server was very nice and accommodating to a larger group with kids. She brought us a booster seat and coloring pages and crayons for the kids, which was great!

The setup: From the main door, follow all the way to the right until you think you've gone too far. It's in an event room on the left. Start with the soup(clam chowder)/salad table. Some basic salad selections, real bacon crumbles, and, of course, enormous chilled shrimp. Next station has fresh clams, oysters, large crab legs, fried cod, fried oysters, large fried shrimp, prime rib, ham, turkey, BBQ pork ribs, chicken strips, mashed potatoes, mac/cheese, and asparagus. The 3rd station had 8 to 10 different desserts, plus ice cream Food review: Oh my gosh. My wife loved the fresh (fresh) crab, definitely not frozen. Juicy and full of flavor, it's the best she has had in many years of trying new places. Can get a bowl of melted butter to dip the meat in. This is now her favorite place. My wife also ordered coffee, and that was exceptional. As I am not an extreme seafood fan, i enjoyed the fried shrimp, dipping them into my clam chowder. The fried cod was OK. The BBQ pork ribs were good. Ideally, the prime rib and seafood are the main reasons to be here. There are enough options non-seafood if a partner is joining a seafood fan at this place. Service, cleanliness: We felt like special guests. The service was far above par, along with their friendliness. No request was too great or too small for them. The room was very clean ... more so than national chain restaurants. Conclusion : This will be our go-to place for my wife's seafood fix. Note- buffet option shuts down for December. Verify on the website for dates.
