Will and his assistant were consummate professional DJs. My wife and I, when we sat down and listed what we wanted at our wedding, both wrote the number one thing was a dance party. We wanted everybody to be on the dance floor and partying it up for as long as the music was playing. For that to happen you need two things: alcohol (A Twist of Lime, see https://www.facebook.com/atolbarservices/) and non-stop, high energy, dance music. Now I'm sure you've been to weddings before where the dance music doesn't flow, it doesn't have consistency, and suddenly they're playing a song you can't dance to. We couldn't have that so, we turned to Will to help make that happen. After simply two over-the-phone meetings before the wedding (because we are from out of town) and after filling out some painless (yet time-consuming, but only because we cared too much) paperwork, we trusted that Will could make our dream dance party come true. At the wedding, he ran the audio for our ceremony and everything went smoothly. The sound was clear and crisp from the speakers, the absence of feedback meant that every word was heard by all, and he cued the songs seamlessly so there weren't any awkward... pauses during the ceremony, for no good reason whatsoever. Also, after the ceremony, during cocktail hour, he kept the guests entertained with music and mc'ed everything for us so that the evening flowed smoothly into the reception. For those wondering, he had two setups prepared so that he wouldn't have to transfer anything during the wedding, but just move from one to the other without a hiccup. As the mic was passed for toasts, I forgot that Will had had to make sure the batteries were fresh, that he was adjusting for volume, and that he was there helping go from speaker to speaker. Which is what we wanted. He didn't soak up the spotlight, as we've seen some bad DJ's and MC's do, but rather passed it from person to person with style and ease. Finally, the dance party was exactly what we had hoped for too. The music kept going the entire time and there were always people dancing. Will's transitions were crisp, consistently on beat, and his song choices precisely what was needed for the party to be awesome! These guys are great, I've been to a couple of weddings this summer in which they were in charge of the music as the djs and a photo booth. As a dj they had some great equipment and a whole bunch of lighting that made the dance floor the funnest part of the wedding. Their photo booth is pretty neat too, it looks like they made it themselves, and the quality of everything was great. At the second wedding that I saw them at I talked with them and got to know them. Will Anderson was the DJ for my good friend's wedding last March. He made everything run fluid and knew how to keep EVERYONE on the dance floor. My fiance and I were so impressed with him that we rearranged our wedding budget so that we could hire him. We had an incredible amount of performance at our outdoor wedding (a quartet, small choir, trio with guitar and cajon, contemporary dance solo, my solo written for my husband accompanied by a keyboard artist, and then a 7 minute Flash Mob) and Will ran EVERYTHING.
