He created a personalized mix by blending a classic rock song with classical piano to maintain a traditional and elegant feel, and it turned out better than we could have imagined. We also had a Halloween wedding, and Blake played into the theme so naturally and effortlessly, adding to the fun without ever feeling forced. Throughout the night, Blake kept the energy high with incredible mixes and seamless transitions, keeping the dance floor packed. He played all the music we love and blended everything masterfully. So many of our guests came up to us to tell us how amazing our DJ was, and we couldn't agree more. Blake is a true professional, incredibly talented, and genuinely fun to work with. Before writing this review I called ggc production about my horrible experience at my wedding…read morereception. I never even got an apology from the boss (Greg) and he pretty much said my story didn't "match up" and there would be no refund. (Which I never even asked for) I hired ggc productions to dj my wedding. we filled out all the paperwork online for the ceremony and reception. The dj still asked me about reception grand entrance after filling everything out so I copied and pasted the same exact wedding party introduction I sent to my coordinators. I thought I was in good hands. My ceremony went smoothly. My reception was horrible. The dj (dj Reece) forgot to call about 5 people and started to call out the bride and groom. He also mixed a couple of the bridesmaids up. My coordinators had to run over and tell him he missed so many people. The reception entrance was totally screwed up! The dj came and apologized after so I let it go. Many of my family and friends the next day told me the dj was drunk and was taking shots. Guests also saw him pouring himself a shot. Then I hear from other guests that my dj was drunk or they saw him drinking. I was pretty upset how things happened after spending $950!! And also tipping the dj!!! After explaining all this to Greg, he never once apologized And said he needed more information. Greg then called me thinking I was the coordinator and said "the brides story doesn't match up" pretty much making me feel like I was lying. I told him I am the bride, then he studdered and told me how couldn't talk anymore cause he had to pick up his kid. Greg called my videographer, photographer, and coordinators to get their story. He told me they never saw the dj go to the bar and made me feel like a liar. Why didn't he ask to speak to the bartender who was actually at the bar? He spoke to everyone who were way too busy working at the reception to even notice if the dj was drinking. I never even noticed the dj was drinking myself. This is what other people saw. Well then I messaged the bartender asking if they saw the dj drinking or if he came to the bar. They stated they saw him taking 3 shots on the job and went to the bar. And poured a shot at the end of the night. Then saw a beer can fall out of his car. He just looked at the beer can and ran it over as he left. The bartender said the dj seemed odd and definitely didn't act sober. I'm really heartbroken how the reception went after workin so hard to try and plan it out. I only have a wedding once. I was also so embarrassed that my family and guest had to witness the dj taking shots after messing up the reception grand entrance. I honestly wouldn't care if he drank but the fact that he lied about it is upsetting. He said all he had was an energy drink, which is a lie . Own up to your mistakes!! The dj and Greg just made excuses for every mistake and lied. The dj did however, play good music during the reception and had people dancing. He provided extra lighting and the ceremony went smoothly. My coordinators said he was helpful with extra lighting and provided a generator. That I'm grateful for. I would never recommend a loved one or friend to hire for a wedding because that only happens once and I hope they ware able to learn from this. Maybe for a party or event. And horrible customer care after I called ggc production to tell them what happened. I never write bad reviews but this time I just had to because how bad of service I received from Greg. He never owned up to the dj's mistake and made excuses for everything that went wrong. Here are messages from my bartender stating they did in fact see the dj drinking and here is Greg's "apology" email stating the dj only had an energy drink. Horrible experience overall!!! I wasn't trying to get a refund at all. So I don't even know why he said he wouldn't issue me a refund. I would rather them give a decent apology and own up to the mistakes and try and make it right. I even tipped the dj after everything that happened so I'm not here to complain just to get a refund. My wedding only happens once and I would never wish this upon another bride.

We met Kent at an open house event at Avery Ranch Golf Club. He was very professional and answered…read moreevery question we had for him. We decided to go ahead and book him for our Daughter's Sweet 16. A couple of months before our event, I wanted to go over a timeline, particular songs and a father/daughter dance mix that my daughter wanted him to create. Kent was able to provide the mix we needed & informed me that there was no need to provide a list of songs because they pretty much know the type of songs that are popular with that age group. I should've provided a song list regardless of what was discussed, but with his reviews & with the great father/daughter mix he created...I trusted him. Day of event...everything looked fine, the set up & the lights. There was just one huge problem. The "DJ" that was there informed my husband that only one speaker is working but that it should be fine. During our dinner portion of the evening we had decided months before that we would have a slide show of our daughter that would be shown while everyone was enjoying dinner. (This was part of our venue package & didn't include the DJ) So as dinners rapping up everyone was ready to break out their dancing shoes, but the selection of songs this DJ was playing weren't at all popular to the crowd. My husband approached him several times to tell him that the ONE speaker provided wasn't working properly or that he needed to adjust the treble. You would think that a "DJ" would know that. His attitude wasn't professional at all, his demeanor wasn't one of an individual whom belongs in this particular profession, he wasn't interacting or trying to hype up the guests, he sat in a chair the entire time and was constantly on his phone...texting...I guess. A whole hour of dealing with this ridiculousness, my husband called Kent & informed him of the problem and the complete dissatisfaction we had with the service provided by this individual. Kent informed my husband that he already knew of the situation and was sending someone to help with the problem. Almost two hours later Kent and another individual show up, but by that time the problem had already been resolved by Luke Marks our venues (Avery Ranch Golf Club) Food & Beverage Director. Before Kent arrived, Luke had been running around talking to the DJ trying to figure a way to connect their (the venues) sound system to the DJ's equipment. It seemed as if the DJ didn't have a clue as to what or how to do figure that all out. FINALLY after Luke, myself, my husband and some of the waitstaffs help we finally received connection through the venues sound system which helped make somewhat of what was left of my daughters night...which was only an hour or two that we had remaining toward the venue. Kent did apologize many times for the problem and asked how he could fix the situation, but by that time my husband was already displeased with all the inconvenience everyone who helped had to go through & how stressful it made us. We ended up only paying half of the remaining balance which was more than my husband was willing to pay. As helpful as Kent was, there's no repairing the damage done. Occasions such as a wedding or a young womens Sweet 16 are events that are suppose to imprint a great amount of unforgettable memories in their lives and this wasn't one for my daughter. Everyone knows that the dancing portion of the night is one of THE MOST important parts of the evening where a great majority of the fun is had & where your guests lets loose. This probably would've been a great night had we received the service promised. I'm sure Kent's DJ Service is great...but this particular individual was not.
