Unfortunately, the wait wasn't the only issue during my first visit. When I finally got in, the interaction with one of the staff members felt uncomfortable. I asked a simple, genuine question about whether piercings on each side have any meaning. He said he didn't know, which was perfectly fine, but the way he responded afterward left me wondering if he was being sarcastic or mocking me. It felt unnecessary, unprofessional, and honestly made me hesitant to return. These days it seems like you can't ask anything without someone turning it into something political, and that's not what I came in for. I did go back for a second visit, and that experience was completely different -- much more easygoing. I guess it really just depends on who you get. Still, that first impression was annoying enough that I've never looked back since. If you decide to visit, I recommend coming with a friend, especially if it's your first time. Ducky is the type of artist that you want to give creative freedom because I could have never even imagined a better design for my tattoo. As soon as I saw the mock-up I was just blown away and so excited that I trusted him with a completely custom design. It was everything I wanted and more. The cherry on top is that Ducky is also a sweet and amazing person. I am still so thrilled with my experience that I decided to just give him my entire left arm to throw his art on. If you're worried about experiencing a new artist or that you won't like a tattoo designed for you, worry no more!! Ducky will get you where you want to go. Thanks a million, Ducky!!

It looks amazing! I'm looking forward to getting more work done in the future. Anyone would be so lucky to work with him. The process was truly thoughtful. I was able to have a FaceTime consultation where we talked about the project. I live in Northern California so this was great (a lot of artists aren't able/willing to do this). First session he showed me the stencil and we were able to tweak a few things and make it exactly how I wanted. Great communication and he wants to make sure it's what you want. Also all the aftercare items are all provided to you so you don't have to worry. He explains everything in a thoughtful way to get the best experience/most out of your tattoo. The atmosphere at Elated is welcoming and inviting. Ducky has a private space where it isn't in the open like a lot of tattoo shops. Very clean and calming energy. I had 2 sessions and Ducky was always checking in to make sure I was okay. Amazing tattoo artists are hard to find he is a gem!
