These days it seems like you can't ask anything without someone turning it into something political, and that's not what I came in for. I did go back for a second visit, and that experience was completely different -- much more easygoing. I guess it really just depends on who you get. I was able to have a FaceTime consultation where we talked about the project. I live in Northern California so this was great (a lot of artists aren't able/willing to do this). First session he showed me the stencil and we were able to tweak a few things and make it exactly how I wanted. Great communication and he wants to make sure it's what you want. Also all the aftercare items are all provided to you so you don't have to worry. He explains everything in a thoughtful way to get the best experience/most out of your tattoo. The atmosphere at Elated is welcoming and inviting. Ducky has a private space where it isn't in the open like a lot of tattoo shops. Very clean and calming energy. I had 2 sessions and Ducky was always checking in to make sure I was okay. Amazing tattoo artists are hard to find he is a gem!
