The lines are uneven, the thickness is inconsistent, and the geometric elements are crooked and poorly aligned. The shading is patchy and inconsistent, with areas that look unfinished and overworked. There are multiple OBVIOUS imperfections that should have been addressed before considering the tattoo finished. What made the experience even worse was the artist's attitude when I returned to discuss the possibility of a retouch. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he was rude and made me feel uncomfortable. He also made insulting comments about the amount of tip I gave him. A tip is at the customer's discretion and should never be used as a reason to insult or disrespect a customer. I paid for a permanent piece of artwork and expected professionalism, attention to detail, and basic respect. Instead, I was left with a tattoo that I'm unhappy with, an uncomfortable experience, and the possibility of having to spend even more money with another artist to correct the work. I would not recommend getting a polynesian tattoo here, the reason I came back to this spot is because of Gary, he did me a solid for doing a tiny dragon behind my ear. And for the artist that said he could have charged me more, but instead gave me a discount, buddy..... look at your work! This does not cost $2,000.
