Oh my gosh. I don't know where to start..This place Scrambles Cafe is the very best breakfast place we've ever been to.. the service was excellent right from the beginning getting greeted by the Manager Bob, who is a sweet, humble guy and funny. Our waitress Laura was very good, fun too and an excellent waitress.. there is plenty to choose from on the menu and the food was very very good, and great prices.. it's not a big place but it has a BIG HEART!!! Go here for breakfast or lunch, as they are only open til 2pm I promise you will not be disappointed. We are going back very soon!!!!!! Tell Bob that Barbie and Danny told you about this great place.

The place is nice and clean with a good atmosphere. The service was excellent our waitress name was Melody and she was very kind and helpful. They do have a variety of meals in the menu, but unfortunately not too many options for food allergies.

After an early doctors appointment, we decided to eat at Scrambles Cafe off of Mericamp on Ocala's southeast side (where we rarely dine). Shortly after 9 am, we were seated right away. I won't lie, first thing I saw was a fine layer of dust right at my eye level on the ledge along side the wall partition. Not what I expected to see, but... Our server, Brandie, was pretty busy, but she touched base a couple times letting us know she would be with us soon. She got our drinks quickly and circled back to get our orders shortly after. My partner got the fruit crepes (they ran out and waiting for more was part of the delay) and a blueberry muffin. She enjoyed the crepes and really loved the muffin, that our server said were made in-house. I had the scramble piled high: two eggs and sausage on an open faced biscuit, buried in sausage gravy. My side were the fried potatoes - hands down the BEST fried potatoes I've had in a very long time. Overall, a delicious breakfast.

The special was lacking full size toast pieces.

Place was great. service was on point and pretty good. Food tasted good and tasted a little like home. Bacon was great. I had the blueberry french toast special and I was not happy with only getting 2 pieces of small toast sticks. When I hear french toast I assume 2 full size pieces. Not 1/3 of a piece of toast. so I got 2/3 a single piece of toast. The flavor was great and different. Wife approved pancakes. and she is a pancake snob as her mother is as well. I could not believe how busy it was at 9am on a weekday. Wednesday. It might have been the church event next door. But I will go back since I cant get to the breakfast station that is 35-40 mins of driving each way. Keke's is a little better but the price her was better. Keke's gives you larger portions. It is family owned and a great small location. Was kind of loud as well.

Nice little Diner. Came here for breakfast, we were seated right away upon entering however it did take awhile for our server to great us and take our drink order. Ordered the Breakfast Sampler and Set a Good "Eggsample" , once we placed our order food came out quickly and hot. Our orders were exactly what we ordered with nothing missing and nothing wrong. Food is good and what you expect from Diners serving Breakfast and Lunch. Would definitely return!!

This diner looks like the old diners from the movies. Plenty of tables with mismatched coffee mugs. I was seated in a back area against the wall and noticed they were setting up for a big party to come on. My waitress was very friendly and attentive. She made sure to get my order in before the large group. I ordered the skillet with ham, bacon, mushrooms and bell peppers. My food came out quickly and was hot. I was happy about the fast service because I had to head to a meeting. Honestly, I couldn't taste any of the toppings. The potatoes were well seasoned but the veggies and meat were non existent. The English muffin was a bit burned too. I wouldn't order the skillet again but I may stop in for breakfast the next time I'm in the area because it is located so close to my meeting.

This place is great! Small little cafe style with a breakfast and lunch menu. I ordered the biscuits and gravy which was delicious. The biscuits are huge and handmade which you can taste, and they're very fluffy. Gravy was seasoned well and came with these delicious slices of potato. Staff was very friendly and was a great overall experience. Will certainly be coming here more often. read more

Thought this place did a wonderful job wit their breakfast. We were driving from Tampa to Gainesville and found this spot on Yelp. We didn't want to have to eat at Bob Evans, or Cracker Barrel, IHOP, etc. Scrambles offers great service and very good breakfast options and an affordable price. We were very impressed, even though it was a few mile drive off the interstate for us. Well worth the trip. read more

The is always great with lots of healthy alternatives. If anything there are too many choices. The only thing I would avoid is the Sausage Gravy because, while good, it's not great. The service is always very friendly and attentive. I actually think I might head there right now. Oh, and it is next to a strip mall church so be careful of the date and time or you could be waiting for a while. read more

Came here twice recently during a visit to Ocala. The first time we went here, service was very fast. The food was OK. Portion was very small but the prices were low. We came back another day with a bigger group and service was not so good. It took around 45 minutes for our food to come out. I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and potato. The gravy is very good. The rest was average. read more

The servers were delightful and ensured all our needs were met. My wife and I get to Scrambles at least once a month and have been going for over six years. We have never been disappointed; the worst experience is a few minutes wait for our food to be served during a packed, full-house period. The food is excellent, served promptly and hot and meeting any special requests (extra crisp bacon, for example). There is a wide variety of items for every taste. Service is well-above the norm, with any server helping cover a request. The owner/manager is on the floor and checking with each table of customers and is available for any needs. We will continue to patronize Scrambles regularly. read more

Service was very good .We had a class of 19 and I think everyone enjoyed their visit there. Someone sitting beside me had a beautiful chef salad , everything looked really fresh . I had breakfast with some smoked sausage and it was very good. read more

A terrific choice for breakfast. I drove from The Villages to this shopping center to get my dogs bathed. I dropped them off and was walking around and saw Scrambles located in the same shopping center. I entered and was seated immediately. My server, Sarah, was pleasant, efficient and smiling. What an original concept! I ordered the spud skillet with an OJ. I was served three of my favorite things: a) the food was hot; b) The food was good, and c) the owners (or managers) each came to my table to make sure all was ok. This is a terrific small place where there were many regulars as everyone seemed to know everyone. I would highly recommend trying Scrambles. This will also give me another excuse to keep my dogs clean as I will definitely return. A win-win if I've ever heard one. read more

Ordered the Cajun burger, was pretty good, patty was big and cooked as I liked it, fries were good too service was great and fast. Only minuses was the burger came with just meat, jalapeños, cheese, and bun. No lettuce, tomato etc nor was it offered. They were a little light on the fries as well, overall I'd eat here again. read more

Don't expect fresh, cooked to order food. To save time and rush patrons, meals are prepared in advance and heated to order. Management mistook me for another patron and SCOLDED me for asking if my food was prepared fresh. (She said no). Poor customer service and bad food. Don't be fooled by the "family" reviews. read more

Just driving thru going home from Tampa And found this amazing place to eat a heart healthy bfast! The Love Boat was absolutely delicious to say the least! The southern hospitality and politeness was way more than what I expected and made the enjoyment of food 10x better!! Everyone was amazing and I would definitely recommend stopping in for an egg white omelet or biscuit and gravy....they have it ALL!!! read more

My husband and I were in town visiting family and decided to find a local place for breakfast. Our waitress was excellent as we're the other waitresses in the area, they all made sure we were quickly taken care of. I ordered the croissant french toast and my husband had the western scramble. The french toast was AMAZING, but I'm glad I requested the blueberry compote on the side as I didn't think it needed it. My husband liked his meal, but said there was a little too much cheddar on the eggs for his taste, and that he would have preferred regular hash browns over the hash brown casserole. Overall we were impressed and plan to come back next time we are in town. read more

This is me retracting my 5 star rating. Scrambles used to be my favorite place but the food has been mediocre or bad the last 5 times I've gone. My eggs Benedict yolk was hard and it had like 2 cups of hollandaise on it. My rare burger was very well done. They slather oil on things and call it butter...staff is still friendly, though. read more

Food is mediocre. The real problem is the service. I've been to this restaurant 5 times and have never had a decent server. Went today and it took an hour and a half to bring out food (4 of us total and two of us ordered just a bowl of soup). Sever was rude and barely apologized for our wait. You cannot do that with all of their sandwiches, which we learned after a slightly awkward back and forth between us, the cashier, and the chef. But we landed on something that was satisfactory and both the chef and the cashier expressed care that my son and I were happy with our choice. The place is a little small and indoor seating is limited, so keep that on your radar. But the food was fantastic and both my son and I resolved that we need to go back and try other options on the menu.

I was surprised they did have it so I ordered the Spanish Egg Breakfast, which came with arugula, chorizo, heirloom tomatoes, ciabatta toast, and a preserve. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the chorizo added a great smoky-spicy kick, and the heirloom tomatoes were sweet and juicy. The arugula balanced everything out with a slight peppery bite, and the ciabatta toast was just amazing--crispy on the outside, soft inside, and perfect with the preserve. I also had the Jamón Serrano Sandwich & split it with my bf. It was just as good as it sounds. The jamón serrano, manchego, and basil pesto were a perfect combination--savory, nutty, and herby--all sandwiched between that same incredible ciabatta. Every bite was fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service was friendly, though the wait was a little longer than expected. Still, the quality of the food made up for it. Definitely won't wait as long to return next time!

Then it kind of transitions into a market store. There is a counter you order food at and pay for items. There is a small bar with seating next to that as well. We browsed the market items and picked up a couple of items. We went to the counter to pay and that is when I realized you can order food and drinks. If you order something that takes time to prepare, it is brought to you at a table. Since I ordered a glass of wine, I just waited there for it and went to sit. Hubs retrieved a beer from the fridge. The owner was the individual we interacted with and he was very pleasant. There was constant traffic the entire time we were there so I hope that means they will remain in business. The prices were not too crazy and it is a perfect place to have a drink and/ or gourmet snacks. I definitely want to return and try other items on the menu.

The first time I had on short sleeves and was near the edge of my comfort level- I nearly went back out to my rental to get a hoodie. The second time was later in the evening and it had cooled off a lot outside but the air conditioning was still working like the restaurant was on the planet Venus. Like the knob was on 11 like the amplifiers on Spinal Tap. Fortunately I was dressed appropriately this time but I did hear a large table of older ladies complain about it multiple times before bringing it to the attention of the server. Resolvable temperature concerns aside, I'd recommend the sushi here and give the Thai a second chance as well.

I'm in town visiting with family we found this place on here and gave it a shot and so very happy that we did the food was excellent prices were cheaper than I thought they would be for what we had I couldn't even finish mine there was so much.
