Chicken fried steak, home fries, and over med egg

Busy place Quaint Seat was available when we arrived (although it needed some wiping down). Staff was quick to get drink order (fairly slow on refills) Food was great Prices were very reasonable

Ham & cheese omelette, hash browns and biscuit

It's a small but popular spot for breakfast and lunch. The servers are hopping to get everyone served in a timely fashion. I had the ham & cheese omelette. It was ok, but not as cheesy as usual and the ham was diced so tiny that it was a bit hard to eat as it fell out of the omelette (see photo) the biscuit was huge and hash browns were my favorite. They have Coke products but no Coke Zero.

The quintessential best breakfast joint. I was in town for two days recently and ate here two days. The staff is fun, attentive and friendly. Our server had a great sense of humor too. The food was all super tasty and the portions were huge. I got the Philly steak omelette one day and that was so good I got the chicken Philly omelette the next day. To keep that much meat, veg and cheese in an omelette is an art. Mad props to the cooks for their technique. I know it's no easy task. The coffee was so good. It definitely had a flavor that was rich and nostalgic, finding out it was folders and tasted so good let me know I can hopefully make a pot like that at home. Coffee goals! Still can't believe it was a simple brand that tasted like the perfect cup you crave. If I were to pick my favorite diner I've been to in Florida, this one now takes the top spot. The live oak trees that surround this building are absolutely breathtaking. Plus it's also really fun to tell your friends we're going to the Dam Diner. :D

    Beautiful old school country food.

We were on their bottom floor patio (which was lovely) but I did spy that they have a rooftop patio as well (what's not to love?!?). Everything from the food to the cocktails to the service was exemplary. For my cocktail I got their Old Colonel's Smoking Gun which was their twist on an old fashioned and was delightful. For my entree, I got their salmon entree. It's glazed and comes with a size of their crispy brussels and cheesy grits. The brussels were delish and their cheesy grits rank among some of the best I've had with sharp cheddar giving them the perfect flavor kick. The atmosphere was so pleasant. It's definitely the sort of spot you'll feel tempted to linger. Get to it!

We arrived just before noon and were able to grab a table inside, though the patio looked like a fun option as well. This is definitely a stop we'll add to the list the next time we're passing through.

It was a Saturday, and had a brunch menu, but I opted for a regular lunch. Ample seating outside and inside. The service was a bit slow, and food took quite some time, but I feel like thats a hit or miss with all restaurants, and could just be that one time. The menu itself has some really great options so it was hard to choose. I ended up ordering the clam chowder. It had a really nice flavor and really enjoyed it, not too many clams though. For my entree I ordered the bulgogi bahn mi.... And I get it "salted" is part of the name of this restaurant, but it was so so salty, almost inedible salty-. Overall really cute restaurant, vibe and concept, but I'd definitely order something else if I ever went back.

We ordered the fried green tomatoes. I only wish they were sliced just a tad thinner, but they were tasty nonetheless. My friend got the pork and she had enough for 2 meals. I got the grouper and it was a smaller portion but a perfect size and very good as well. The standout as the Reese's cookie. It was big and crispy on the edges and nice and soft everywhere else. Well worth a visit had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and we had the chicken and the salmon dinners with asparagus and roasted potatoes. It was very good. The service was outstanding. It's a place that would return to and if you haven't gone there at least try it one time. However. I would tell you make a reservation, but also get there early because parking is at times hard to find. I lucked out had a parallel parked right next to the front door, first time, my parallel parked in 40 years and I stuck at the first time very proud of myself. Here's some pictures of our dinners.
