As usual, the staff was nice and the food was decent, and I'm sure we would've had a great conversation if we weren't constantly interrupted. Even though she was sitting across from me, I had to ask her to repeat every other word because of a rude man standing near us. He had a tattoo covering his entire arm and all he did was loudly talk to the hostess and when he wasn't doing that he was staring at his phone in the middle of the walkway. Eventually it got to the point that we were going to have a waiter ask him to leave but then I saw him--still staring at his phone--walk into the kitchen! I am leaving 3 stars for the food and service, which were great. But this place is DIRTY. I believe they need to shut down for two days and do a thorough clean. I could not believe how dirty the floors, fan blades, bathroom doors, and walls were. I understand if a place is busy, it may be difficult to keep up with cleaning while a place is open. Service was terrible. I told the waitress I am allergic to onion and my meal still came with onion. She never came back to check on us. A different waitress attempted to hand me a check and I asked to speak with someone. A man appeared from the kitchen stating he was the owner. He didn't apologize for the error just confirmed I didn't want it remade. My boyfriend's eggs were liquid and not safe to eat. No wonder they weren't busy. No one returned with a check for the coffee so we left. read more

I hate to do this but 2 stars is really generous. I know they are new but the service is very sub par. Servers seemed over stressed and really don't know the ordering procedure well. Simple changes like eliminating a row of bread on a BLT could not be done. Asking for Mayo on the side came with a I added it in the comments but not sure it will come out that way. We started with coffee and it was below average quality. Not sure why a lot of breakfast places cannot get the coffee right but that should be a mainstay for any of them. I ordered French toast and my wife the BLT. Mine came out first (not served together) and it was not hot. I waited till my wife got served to eat (a few minutes more) and by then it was cold. I did not complain cause I did not want to go down the path of we we will redo it for you or the dreaded microwave fix. My wife's BLT came back with guess what...no may on the side so we had to ask. Food was just average and nothing special. Hopefully they can get their act together but there are just too many good breakfast place for me to try again. Hope they work out the kinks. read more

My boyfriend and I have been going to this spot monthly for almost a year now and love their breakfast! I always get the pineapple mimosa, minus the cream, and he loves the classic mimosa. I get the same meal every time, the avocado toast! You can't beat it! He's had the shrimp and grits, biscuits and gravy, and a bunch of other meals and loved each one! We always sit at the bar and enjoy the atmosphere. Staff is friendly and service is quick. This is hands down my favorite breakfast spot in the area. read more

Been looking for places all over Cincinnati for a decent monte cristo this place has been the only place that seems pretty ok , it was decent , took away a few stars because part of the sandwich was a little mushy making it a little yucky and the fries come completely unseasoned , other than that it was pretty good with the mustard it was the perfect mix of savory and sweet. read more

First time at Scramblers. I ordered the Crab cake Benny. The hollandaise sauce was broken,the poached eggs were over cooked making the meal very dry. The potatoes were very bland. My boyfriend got the Uncle Moose Manhandler breakfast. It wasn't supposed to have onions yet it had onions throughout. My silver wear was dirty and had a hair on it and I also found a hair on my plate after finishing what I ate that was definitely not mine. We love the Scramblers in Sharonville (we ate there EVERY weekend for a few months) and were ecstatic to see them come so close to our neighborhood. Our experience at this location was just as great as the other. Service was prompt and friendly, coffee was great, and our meals were cooked perfectly. I'm a huge fan of their goetta (ask for it crispy!) and three eggs, as well as their mini omelettes. My husband almost always gets the Uncle Moose's Manhandler and loves it. The interior is also super cute, along with the patio. So excited to have a location down here, and we can't wait to go back! read more

Sadly understaffed like most restaurants now . Service was slow and food was ice cold. Very nice atmosphere and a nice looking menu if they could execute . I have heard better feedback so will try again and hope this was an off day. Awful experience started off with my bow being without all of the meat in it, found with canned tomatoes and jalapeños, they then put the wrong kind of eggs on my food. Couldnt imagine a worse experience, feel bad for the waitress she trying her hardest. read more

Checked out this new place for breakfast this morning. There were only a couple tables occupied when we came in. The food was decent. I ordered one of the skillet scrambles that come with a bunch of different ingredients and it came out barely warm (stuff near the bottom was cold) and didn't have much meat in it. Server was nice but wasn't too familiar with the menu and it took a while for drink refills. I'm hoping as they stay open longer things will run a little more smoothly. It's a nice place on the inside and has a lot of potential. We'll probably try in again in a month or two to see if they fine tune things. read more

Nice environment but everything else fell short. Wait staff service pleasant but slow, forgot part of order, didn't check back, and had to wait an inordinate amount of time for bill. Food was mediocre. Bacon tasteless. Avocado toast has some premade avocado paste in it, tasteless. The others in our party also said everything was just mediocre. After waiting about a minute or so someone sat me but it wasn't her table so she didn't ask if I wanted coffee or water. After a few minutes the waitress asked if I wanted coffee. I was waiting on a friend. I got coffee pretty quickly. The food arrived pretty quickly. The food tasted great. 3:4 of the plate was delicious, hot hash Browns. I used to once in a while visit Scramblers in Sharonville and now I have one right down the street from me. Love this place, especially the breakfast...so good. Newly opened in the former Flipdaddy's location on Wooster Pike. No wait at about 11:30 on a Saturday morning, which was a big plus. Very busy. We were sat at probably the worst table in the restaurant (by the kitchen) where it was noisy and a lot of traffic. I was a little worried that it would be very easy to spill on us, but luckily not a problem. The table was too small for the food we ordered (once you had the jelly/jam container, the water pitcher, the coffee pitcher, our coffee cups/water glasses, the syrup dispenser, the sweetener container, the creamer bowl) as there was hardly any room left for our plates! Our server was nice and it was a busy service for her, so while it was a little slow, it was understandable. We got the Big Country, which is biscuits and gravy, eggs of your choice, and hash browns on the biscuits under the gravy. Big portion. Our complaint was that it was a nice, soft biscuit, with soft potatoes, soft gravy and soft eggs. No texture at all, and a crunch of crispy hash browns would have changed what we thought of the dish. We also got the Avocado toast. The best part of this plate was the crispy fried potatoes! Those were very delicious. The toast was flavorful, but the bread itself could have been more substantial, like a toasted sourdough perhaps. It could not be picked up as it got soggy under all the rest of the avocado, cheese and egg. We also got a waffle to share, and this was the great part of the breakfast! Crispy and fluffy, with a nice bit of whipped cream as well as thick syrup. All this came to just under $40 which was just a little more than we might have expected considering it is a casual chain breakfast/lunch spot. We will be back, but interested in trying some of the other options of the menu (chicken and waffles, Monte Cristo both sounded interesting!) read more

Dirty!! Our table was set with fresh silverware while the table had gooey stuff and obvious crumbs. Brought a dry-Ish towel to wipe down once we waited for awhile to get service (asking for the table to be cleaned). Table beside us had the same situation. Service slow, not attentive. We went on a Sunday. The manager was literally running a kindergarten. She had to corral her employees on 3 occasions that I witnessed. I felt terrible for her. She was trying her hardest but she was dealing with absolutely spoiled brats working for her. I had to get up and get my check and the table next to us said they were moments from walking out without paying.
